  1. I am not sure if this is relevant, but it is what it brings to mind. People cannot get too close to a Disney character. Not necessarily due to copyright, but because it confuses the young guests. So fans "Disney Bound"
  2. The world dances to Snarky’s mad tune!
  3. Bumped
  4. You want to look at hyperstrike’s work. I will try to find an old build on the boards and bump to top of brutes forum that has the sets transcribed. Hyperstrike does the best invulnerability
  5. You want to look at a comprehensive build strategy. It doesnt have to be perfect, but getting substantial s/l or ranged defense, depending on at/style can help a lot
  6. The GMs in Homecoming are incredibly good. If real life had city services like this I might venture outside more often.
  7. Dmitir Krylov. Take the details of his arc and make a TF out of it. It can be a redside/blueside. Red would be similar to his arc, with one mission being kidnap Paragon citizens (hampered by Heroes and LB?, the next mission being the heroes show up to rescue and bring justice. Blueside reverse that. The lore is pretty established, so build on that.
  8. screw homage you unoriginal miscreants! and get off my lawn!
  9. Yes, one of the things I like about current WoW is the scaling. Everything scales to your level if you are in “Chromie Time” which is what I mostly do. I was actually shocked that the latest stuff was not scaling. Once you outlevel Chromie (start of latest expansion) it goes away and if you grab a level or two before questing then the quests are trivial. I was like WTF? My opinion is all modern games should scale. If you want an “edge” it would be through good builds/equipment and weekly stuff like CoP. Reward people who are playing hard that week and let them push further in. Let builds/equipment do some heavy lifting and weekly buffs the rest with a “design cap” that allows the game to playa certain way. Like Magisterium. You can have a tremendous build and be fully incarnated but need to understand the mechanics and work as a league to succeed. Nobody one shots Tyrant and if you want the badges you better have a plan.
  10. always willing to throw in my 2 cents. Even when I am short a penny... Barbi Que or any derivation is a play on Barbeque Bar-B-Q etc and not derived from Barbie. In theory. Not a judge, but that is an easy argument to present, if not decide upon.
  11. I just learned that it was evidently a really hard film to shoot. Due to the ensemble cast and the writing and directing it was a doozy. So the line towards the end about "not bickering" is poignant.
  12. When I win the billion dollar lottery and hire the Devs (and a small army of code monkeys) to rebuild CoH it will be with all the old lore and missions. Some new stuff. But the blueside rescue 17 only to have it turn into a kill all. Suffer. It is staying. The hunts in PI for carnies when you have to wait for the respawns. staying. and all the other craziness. Now...there might be some new tricks for learned players to get around those old obstacles. But some you just gotta power through. Because it is a crazy world, and CoH has always reflected that back at us pretty clearly.
  13. if it was anyone but you Yomo i would assume that you were joking. since it is you....remember an old vampire when you are rich.
  14. supposedly that is a recoilless rifle. i.... i would not want to be the infantryman that tested that advertisement.
  15. are we creating digi infi now?
  16. yeah, i'm too lazy to report generally. plus, just because someone says something on the forum....
  17. you want money go see yomo. this graveyard is closed!
  18. i dont think there is a "good" variation or a "bad" one. its like hot dogs, you just gotta take it for what it is lol
  19. it is because it is all ego and no cash that people are scrupulously honest. For instance, I get called out every week or so to talk about Dark Armor when people ask questions. People know I know it and will (grumpily) explain my take on it. People (those that been around) have a pretty good idea I do not do PvP and am not a speed runner. So.... If I start bragging and posting I did the Kessel run in 2 parsecs.... Not gonna pass the smell test. Meanwhile people that have been running scrappers for almost 2 decades know exactly who they are and relatively what can be done, and by who. The point behind the following two items. We know Hafthor is in the same strength range as Eddie. But Eddie beat him at a World Strongest Man. Hafthor is pissed. Hafthor "should" have lifted in a regulated competition. Everyone knows that for a world record. Hell, at least have Guinness book on hand. But he just does it at his home gym. Maybe he did it. Hell, he probably? did? But that is not the way it is done. Eddie lifted in a verified event in front of a crowd with judges and verified weights. (judges are important for lockout...) This is especially important since Hafthor has tried and missed 501 in competition... Eddie Hall, 500 Kilo deadlift in competetion: Hafthor Bjornsson 501 Kilo deadlift, not in competion, plates verified by his DAD!!!!
  20. In open world I think you would find too much motivation to cheat. Example: hidden friend on a Corr Debuffing the crap out of GM. that is just off the top of my head. Sure there are a ton more.
  21. your experience in the Yin mirrors everyone elses. the OP has been emphatic it happened multiple times and there were no endurance issues. I suspect a glitch. with no comp knowledge at all i randomly guess a server client communication error.
  22. needs a bumper sticker that says "overcompensating..."
  23. I have this same issue with most of WoW dungeons. I am a completionist. Real OCD type. But I only showed up in WoW during Panda after CoH flew itself into the ground instead of landing normally. I would gladly take a toon and do each zone (everything) in order including dungeons. But you cannot. It is verbotten. And there is no practical way to do the dungeons in order with any pick up group. Tangent. But this illustrates the problem. In these two games, and I am sure others, Devs want to wrap up story lines and move stories forward. But...if they make it slow paced enough that a slow learner like me can take it in then everyone says it is boring, unchallenging, and sucks. So.... They make a beast of a TF/SF/Dungeon?Group thang. Then throw in every easter egg they want as if it was a gentle walk through a flower garden. Because they want both, and they have no third option.
