  1. This option is only available through dial up. Still works. A slot machine in St Martial showed me how…..
  2. The Arachnos Air Hostess will put you in your seat and send you to your destination. You will have no complaints. (That you're willing to say out loud)
  3. THis actually 100% true. The sick thing is it will start to feed itself at volume. Because you sell everything in the packs...to get more Inf to buy packs. Leaving you the merits and odds and ends that cannot be sold. I do not enjoy marketing nor profiteering at volume off fellow gamers. I sell what drops. Keeps me rich. Then I game.
  4. I suppose AR Devices. I have played it. But never for long. Never done what I always thought I should with it….solo Redside. I heard back on live about the strategies of building traps and forts and just screwing with mobs through pulls into death traps. Someday I will get around to it I suppose
  5. Recluse has a secret weakness to furries. Go talk to him about it
  6. The fastest way i would think is through Ouro. You never have “extra missions” just the ones needed for the arc and the merits.
  7. i just solod redside all arcs that can only be completed under 44 and a few task forces 1900 merits
  8. And i keep seeing suggestions about AR Energy but AR Devices is to me the Sniper setup. Prob gonna do a Story Arc run with one. Just did a redside run on a Corr so a little burnt now though lol
  9. I have been told i am not supposed to have authority over others. Something about power corrupts
  10. Lol. I just ran them all, finished yesterday. My new years project There are some good redside guides. Really for me it is perception. I would look at each arc and avoid the kill alls. Less redside than blue, but still. There are just some great arcs redside. Even Number 204 that has 1-2 kill alls is a hoot because of the plot. And only 6 missions. Of gold blue or red you will definitely find it easier to farm merit’s through arcs red. Good luck
  11. You need to go to Grandville. there is short line right off the ferry. they will help you. Line moves fast.
  12. Well you are mostly right. Until you are flat out wrong. I have an Elec Temporal and Beam Temp Blasters that operate only at range. An AR is fully ranged. As is water and earth. Ice is fully ranged.
  13. I almost always use one build. There is one exception, when i will be soloing a lot with a toon. Then I might do a second build. Money isnt even the issue. When you switch builds all your powers including incarnate go into cool down. Real pain.
  14. because black ice is more dangerous...
  15. I tend to pair Fire with other stuff. Dark Melee Fire Armor Brute is just BRUTAL. Fire Blast Temp Manipulation Blaster is just ornery. If I had to go Fire Fire it would no doubt be Blaster. I find Fire Fire to be lopsided, and it was designed that way. Way too much of one thing and lacking....everything else.
  16. you can probably recolor and darken the aura until it is near invisible.
  17. glad you are strong! I am trying to get back to my strength of two years ago. I am more 'fit' now but I had bigger lifts then by far. with poor technique it turns out, so ...injuries. But I am creeping back into it again.
  18. i think of the muscle loss that is ionevitable. that hurts. i work hard to maintain and if lucky add a bit of strength. (i'm an old vampire) but losing weight fast is just a recipe for losing strength.
  19. If only psi did not have s point blank nuke….. beam rifle, assault rifle, earth blast, electric blast and ice blast have ranged “nukes”. Although ice has no snipe and the nuke is odd too
  20. to add to this a few of the blasters corruptors have stealth in the secondary sets. Devices, has a stealth. my dark/dark vamp has a stealth and a fe others. now my dark is a team stealth, not invisible, just sort of. and does not suppress in combat. i have a celerity+stealth i/o in my run power that when added with that becomes true invisibility. but the celerity suppresses in combat. the game is very intricate. again, go concept first. in my opinion you will probably be a lot happier
  21. Almost every Blaster has a Snipe power. Ice does not. Blasters and Corruptors have the heaviest hitting Snipes, Blasters winning easily until scourge magically decides to work. With that in mind I would focus on concept. If you are running a Fantastic Four flaming man, a Fire Blaster (across everything) is just the hardest hitting thing CoH has. Its THE glass cannon. secondary efffect is more damage, no mitigation. I have a Beam Rifle Blaster I run for late game badge teams. Damn hard hitting single target, all ranged. Has Snipe. Then I pair it with temporal manipulation for a fully ranged secondary set. Old School Beam Rifle Kinetics Corruptors are monster team builds. Hard hitting ST and great team help. (If a little much to get used to if truly green) But definitely go concept first. Pick what you love. Make a toon that speaks to you. Every flavor is available. Some of this shit has nutz in it. Also, look up Yomo on the boards and in game. He gives 20 mil to all new players! good Luck. (We will help with builds if needed)
