Trillions? There are guides on it. I have known at least one true whale and a few of the people I regularly gamed with were just shamelessly well off. I try to keep 1-3 billion liquid plus a base stocked with EVERYTHING. (I find that to be "virtually unlimited wealth" unless you want every toon to have mini mode or something ) 1-3 billion is yawn easy. Farm a bit, or craft/convert/sell a bit. You need a guide for the truly egregious money making. It is a lot of marketeering. Which is cute and wanna be vampiric on the community. They put so much effort into it. In ancient history a very wealthy man pointed something out....in the end it does not matter.

Yes indeed. I play a LOT. Of regular content. I have the badges on one character and this will be my second. 40 shy. And I have been playing a LOT since they came out. Just the Aeon is 1) repetitive. 2) stupid hard 3) the people that do run it are done with the mission by the time you get to the room. So, that is just a ton of fun. It is/was a shit currency that is borderline griefing normal content players. And if anyone says "well you do not need them..." just do not be surprised if a colony of bats decides your neighborhood is a prime spot to inhabit.

I do not read general chat much even though it is up. I keep an eye on LFG because I am always searching for the next horrid pug story. If I did see something (and sometimes I do) I will ask people not to do that. Which works about 10% time. Then I will ask really nice. That also has limited success, but it sometimes works. Then I ignore it for 1-2 min. If it keeps going I will hack up a ball of snark and lob it. Now, if it is something really beyond casual disregard for the code we agreed to I will mention we do not need to do that and report it. Everything is in context. I do know what you mean though. The local town council is considering placing more guards at the blood banks. I encouraged a bunch of protesters and used a few other tricks I know. Unfortunately, politics just ruins people's lives.

So I have been having meh luck getting on teams. Not unusual for me (or probably anyone) "Just filled!" (They are vampire prejudice, I know...) Anyways, luck was going like usual. Looking for some weeklies. Send a tell to someone forming in LFG. Wait a minute, no response. No invite. Send a tell to someone else who has 1 spot left. I got it! Five minutes later I get a tell from the first guy. "You coming?" I was polite enough to send a response "You never invited me or responded, I joined another team" Oh, and most people are not ugly. It was me in that damned mirror. I thought I got rid of the cursed thing!

I have never seriosly badged. I will sometimes go location crazy on a new alt. Then whatever. But my dark dark Blaster is at 1298. Without a ton of effort I might be able to push them past 1500. Well....with a moderate amount of effort.

What are the badges attainable with Pris Aethers? I looked at the wiki a bit and could only find Hologram badge and I KNOW there are more. errrr right?

I do not think I have ever run a Lady Grey that was NOT a speed run. It is so confusing! I still feel "unsure" in the hostage mission. THey changed the thing before I fully understood it and now I am even more confused. I run it about 4 times a year. My favorite memory of it was a couple dudes from Cosmic Council wanted to 3 man it. At +4. So.... we did. It went FAST. Until we got to the last boss battle. Hero 1 has a Dull Pain type power and everytime we burned him a certain point he topped himself off. Took a while there (like 15-20 minutes in that fight!)

I have been running a lot of Blasters lately and am building them quite different. Slamming in a lot of Winters and Purples. This Dark Dark has three "main" strategies. 1) The Point Blank Nuke. Just stealth in Aim+Nuke if a hard spawn. Aim+Soul Drain+Nuke if can get away with it. While there got a couple other PBAoE but thats the main damage. Of course in Incarnate content have the Void PBAoE Judgement. 2) Cones baby. 4 Cones give a non stop flow of love to those I dislike. Once the spawn is broken down rotate into ST. 3) Single Target A) Gloom, Moonbeam, Abyssal Gaze, and Life Drain provide a hard hitting ST chain B) Victoria Robot mode. Damn bitches. You just gotta hold some people tight. Abyssal Gaze, Soul Storm, these are the main workers. Penumbral grasp (with hold proc) and Arcane Bolt (with hold proc) may help. Keep her held afeather in Moonbeam etc to lash into bring the pain mode. The build is resistant to a lot of status effects thanks to the purples and winters. Rune of protection can be popped in a heavy fight for more safety. Has 23-31% defenses in Ranged Aoe Neg Energy Fire Cold. A med purple brings you into safety. Has stealth and of great significance Phase Shift. This vampire knows many high end enemies see through stealth. But they cannot touch you in the land of Darkness! This allows me to get to where I need to be safely and start working. Not the greatest Blaster I have made in many ways. But it has a LOT of odd tools and is very effective at DPS. Not like a no defense Fire Fire Blaster. But what is? But Dark Dark is my thing and this Blaster looks to be my main after so many expeditions looking at other ATs. The new MiDs offers two export options and neither do anything useful. They just stop supporting exporting to the boards?

It is strange to see this thread necro’d. I have been taking a few Blasters through all low level TF SF Trial content sequentially. The Fire dies incredibly well. I just rebuilt him for 50. My current build ideas for Blasters is to cram in as many Winter and Purple sets as possible. Full sets. So for Fire Fire this meant the proc’d powers were changed. Because the Winters and Blaster sets have good Defense it is pretty easy to get Ranged AoE energy negative fire cold Def numbers in the 20-35% zone. 1 med purple and softcapped. My Fire blaster has a hair over 50% fire cold resist and that was not a build goal. I will post the build tomorrow but I am sure it will look both expensive and inefficient. With the change in procs does that effect all the heavy proc powers a lot?

If you do that better make it a saturday or sunday. Late afternoon east coast and midday west coast cuts your population weekdays

I play solo all the time. For instance, I will start a Posi 1 on a Blaster project. Team will go through and sort of do whatever. I will tell them on the last mission “please do not go on coty hall steps”. They will go on city hall steps. Wipe. And i solo everything thats left eating the purples and reds i squirreled away

It started with trying to have one character go from SG base to Atlas. Now if I try to log into that toon the game crashes. 2 other tooons the game opened, everytime I try to swith to toon 1 crashes. Then it crashed on another character

I could easily run an Ice Ice Blaster. Would be nice for slowing the incoming ambushes between KD patch and fat slows cone attacks. Gets its first rain very early as well

I like the theme stuff. When I look at your list I think Frostfire Team. Fire Ice powers. Or….. Ice Water Storm Elec. The hell of winter storms brought right to Praetorians. Or…. Fire Meteor and Earth. Viva la real dirt league. As you can see I like to narrow the focus. If it was me I would pick one thing everyone had to have fire or ice or storm (an argument could be made Water Storm Elec are all one thing). Then the other power set possibly different but only if it fits the theme and concept. Yeah, I take this stuff way to seriously lol

Freaking Out My Opponent

I have done a Gold crawl before. It was fun and amusing. Crawls are not short. I was a regular in the Cosmic Council crawls. Red Blue Gold etc. They tended to start with a TON of interest. Then.... yeah. We met once a week, but you might do something different, like every night for a week or two to knock it out. Might change the pattern. Personally I love the concept. I would love to meet with a regular crew and do define content. Or defined team. An all little green army team with rifles devices and traps. I would actually splurge and spend to get PA for that. It would be hilarious. Or an all Space Marine Beam Rifle squad. I am rambling. I would be interested.

I have been playing a lot of Blast sets and even taking a few Blasters through a lot of TFs of various levels. 1) Fire Blast. Just incredible. But the higher you go in the game the more exact you have ti be. When you live on the edge it is exciting 2). Meteor. Such a fun whomp. But overall it does nit stand out for me. And the rocky animations are just too much. So well done, but so constant 3) Ice. Such an oddball. I love it. But it never quite feels like I am blasting. More like a controller who figured out the cheat code for doing damage 4) Assault Rifle. So good now. If they made the animations from shoulder and back mounted weapon systems I could play a miniature giant mech. Long time goal. But AR Traps feels like a working Blaster finally. Build for range 5) Dark. I love you. You are so dam odd. Just a odd Blaster. Dark Dark Corr prob gas the most dynamic pairing of the Dark ATs. But i am Dark Dark Blasting right now. I am starting from the ground up. First you must forget. Then relook at each power and usefulness. My time on Seismic and Fire have me thinking much more aggressively. I like cones but you have to get creative with them. I build for + range and get +34-45%. Dark Dark Soul has 4 cones and the extra coverage is gold.

One of the reasons I dislike Dark Dark is it has a click sustain.

Well I have been building and playing ultra conservative. Now I am innertubing bareskin down mt everest on a Fire Fire Blaster lol. The impetus to put Defiant Barrage in a toggle is then I can throw a full set of Superior Winters Blast in my T2 Fire Blast and pick up a good amount of defenses. My defenses are not high, but this would slap my 3rd set of full sup winter and that helps. Trying to make the little Fire Blaster survivable with the help of 1 med purple lol.
