Yeah, I have 1-3 standard looks that I use for every paladin. The +2 is really just variation for odd shaped races. Then another 2 looks for my Death Knights. I may try running a Warrior soon. That will of course be a lot of tryouts for what race I like best for them and whether I even like the power sets. Never have before. Or I may be back in CoH a lot. I can never tell. Starting a new job in two weeks. Sigh. The break has been so good for body and soul.

i play toons for longer iguess. been on HC for years and have maybe 30 fully kitted out. some with 2 builds and i think one with 3. i make a concept and if the look, the powers, the animations and everything sync up i spent a long time on it. same in any game. if i find what i like i grind. i may spend days or weeks testing various things to find the right combo of look powers and feel.

you got a few billion to toss to me to buy PAs? because I am not throwing everything I got into that AH for a few toons
-
every game is a time sink. In WoW I do not spend 3 months to unlock a look. (though I never try, my transmog bank is huge now. If I cant buy it on the AH or luck into it I ignore it.) I can take a toon from 1-70 and be 70 Mythic geared in a week or so with no "specials" running. Days during events. I mostly just putz around there doing quests. Sometimes taking a toon and running for months on old expansions. But that is not "grind grind grind" O look, I got what I need I can make that toon I wanted....3 months ago...

Prismatic Aethers are one of the reasons I am playing a lot more WoW now. To know there are character concepts I want to do (small soldier, as from the movie, gremlin, etc) and have each one locked behind 3 months grinding? Fuhgeddaboudit

Resistance is odd. It is very simple, and that places it as the odd duck in CoH game mechanics. I cannot stress this enough. Resistance is it’s own Resistance debuff Resistance. Weird sentence. What it means. If you have 100% resistance you can ALMOST never be debuffed. There are a very few (and i mean just a couple) beings in CoH that ignore res debuff res. One is an odd all Longbow Warden which you will encounter almost freaking never. But that shithead is out there. I am sure there are one or two others who do the same. They are much rarer than a sapper for instance. But just to be clear, that power exists in game. So… when I build a Res toon I build for 100% values rather than 90%. Then my Res cannot be yoinked out from under me. In say a Dr Aeon. Those brickers tear through resistance like its tin foil on a candy bar.

The only difficulty is if other idio...players show up. When badging I keep a window up with event messages. Step 1 done. It is not hard to travel in CoH. There at the start. 2)....You can drop a nuke on the first spawn. This will up your numbers of minions and have no real impact on Supas. 3) Kill Supas and nothing else. 4) after supa badge drops KILL EVERYONE if idiots show up it can take a while. 2-3 runs. I have even gotten lucky and randomly found where the Supas run to they are alive for a bit after the end of the event and get stuck sometimes trying to get to the tram. You can get a dozen or more!

It is most likely someone NEW Or a Troll, but lets assume new I did come to Blue badging late and someone (on discord) had to slowly talk this old vamp through this rave Yes, if you know what you are doing you can get both badges in one run. Yes, if you do not know what you are doing you can screw the Supa Troll badge hard and fast
-
roflmao I came to blue badging very very late. Then i discovered the troll rave. the VERY appropriately name Troll rave.

As mentioned the Scrapper has significantly lower resistance caps. Dark Armor does not have defense debuff resistance. So I do not build for defense. Instead I amplify the CC with accuracy and put the resistance on roids. I did run a Dark Dark Stalker recently. Surprised at the good survivability but not my playstyle. It wasnt tanky per se, but it was solid. Of course I am well practiced with Dark Dark so always knew what I was doing ten seconds in advance

Anne Parillaud (Innocent Blood 1992) wonderful movie considering the budget etc. great cast and good cinematography telling a fast moving story. remotely surprised? lost?

sounds more like pandamonium

as i have stated many times I am generally clueless. BUT always willing to speak up 🙂 Panda may refer to WoW expansion, and the love/hate that can engender . (mostly hate that I have seen) It may be a specific reference to the generic Furry thing It may just be a word someone ignorant stumbled across and saw it triggers peeps so they spam it. (in my opinion as likely as any other possibility)

You are awesome! A true leader in the community. And I have never heard you insult Pandas! (current events...) Seriously though, I have gotten Triple Threat and Really Hard Way on your Leagues. Triple Threat is a pain even with top players all on Discord. It is a crapshoot at the last second due to game mechanics. Set it up perfect and its still in the hands of RNGeebus. Margot is top shelf. Well, I have a serious weakness for overconfident crazy people. And it does not hurt she is smoking.

Having suffered through WoW during PandaLand (which was when CoH did flight into terrain) I am no fan. But I honestly have noticed no pattern to it. Granted I am playing more WoW again so not here as much. Still....when i was playing every day a lot (up to a month ago)...not the case. And for the real life question, I take you to an expert:

This. Again I have ( as have so many of you) played on HC for a long time. Yes, once in a while someone will say something rude. Even more rare someone will say something bigoted. Very Rare. Rarer than me getting a purple recipe by far. WE shut it down. Thank you

I have only found Discord useful for hard content. Of course it can be fun to chat and run casual with friends. One guild I was with (now pretty much graveyard) used to run nightly content and weekly incarnate badge runs. Listening on Discord was required for hard stuff. For other uses, meh

Funny because the one memorable issue I had was on Everlasting, I was running a clueless Brute (hey, its me...) and the team leader got upset because I charged ahead and was loosely attached to the team. They actually followed my other characters like an angry bird for a couple days
-
Yeah. I was not there but I know Excelsior. It is welcoming and inclusive. Unless someone is ignorant and hateful. Then the crowd is vocal and unwelcoming, AND educated on how to get rid of pests

I do not think you need screenshots. Cant the devs see the history?
