The worst is the Arachnos Reactor room. This is the one that us about 17 stories tall. Has ramps, elevators in room. If you need to kill all in there or find a specific mob in there it is not fun.

I find myself building “outside the box” since starting Blasting. ”The box” is Blapper, which is the core design of the Blaster sets. So, I have built all range things. Beam/temp, Elec/Temp, or AR/Dev. Then, instead of a cookie cutter build, build a TON of +range. Old school ww2 battleship tactics. Avoid most damage bu standing away from it. Then hammer the opponent. My current Dark Dark Dark Corruptor does not build for defense. That is inside it’s debuffs. (Get that Fear out first!) and then +range. (Lot of cones…). Yes, it is a Blapper because that is Dark Dark. But anytime I can sit outside the scrum and hose down everything with cones i do. Then use Nuke very tactically, and heal the team only when it is necessary to stay up. Harass and abuse, while debuffing the schmucks. Have the targeted AoE debuff for toughest fights. This keeps me alive. (Along with team heal and st heal). It is a very fun strategy that takes patience and understanding, but it is not helped substantially by destroying what i made for softcap defense, and i would argue is hindered by doing so.

This is thankfully untrue. But, …. A GREAT many of the “over 10k missions” are “hunt 20 of X”. A large number of them are “kill all” on maps we know very well. (Or you will if you attempt doing all 10k…). Gold has some cool tricks. Most i honestly do not like, some are very nice. But Gold as a whole I do not enjoy due to the political emphasis. The stories are well told, and if I could run it as unaligned somehow my hatevmight dissipate. Or at least be assigned there by Kalinda as some deep spy…

the rage is written for manic depressives. tough to write more than one character about that

Character customization is what I love. No other game (except Champions, blech) allows me to create MY Nosferatu (or robotic lich!) in the game the way i see it, with powers that mostly make sense. I would change Rage in Super Strength to a non crash non stackable. Or give the option the way some new changes allow one version of a power or another. (Dark Regen Melee…)

they worked on smoothing out Rage. The folks that double stack it (all fifteen of them) bitched so loud and long they dropped the whole project

Emanators are Pets, and the Swarm are Underlings. But I can see you are willing to die on the hill of "exact statement" Here is an exact statement. Crap that is LOWER than minions are going intangible. I have found 3 examples in 20? hours play just grinding 30-34 content. You really think these are the ONLY examples? Oh, but you want me to test every mob in the game, give you a detailed list, then you can start lawyering that with excuses. The old Black Hole was crap. Situationally useful once in hundreds of hours of gaming. The new version of Black Hole is Dumb and Dumber toilet won't flush crap. But you will continue to fawningly defend this stinker. I use this power with a team on Discord. they F-ing hate it. And that is with us being able to discuss what is happening. Imagine the joy of griefing PUGs, intentionally or most probably randomly. Trying to figure out what is happening to what mobs and how to deal with it, in a text communication to people you do not know? Priceless...

Of all the vampires i have seen onscreen Willem Dafoe is just spot on perfect for Snarky in “Shadow of the Vampire”. Not only do I use him as my icon, but the characterization of Schrek was perfect. This was partially due to the script, but Herr Dafoe brought the perfect performance. In particular the petty nature, short sightedness, and lack of curiosity about what anyone else is doing. Partly, in my mind, due to selfishness. Yet also do to a complete lack of interest in anyone else. All of this describes MY Snarky exactly. He wants what he wants (which may change at any time) and cares not at all about anything else.

I am still (actually honestly) puzzled by the new Black Hole. A Dev said that no minions should be intangible, but i have encountered DE emanators, swarm, and carnie strongmen who all go intangible. And i have only been running 30-34 content with it. Those cannot be the only examples. Working as intended? Not working as advertised. And honestly, really not working…

i started my "solo every mission from every contact red/blue/gold" with my Dark Dark Corruptor (currently 34) on Mar 9. now, i work full time and also do other things. so, in almost 4 months i have completed all contacts and every single mission they offer that must be done 1-29. all blue 30-34, and starting red 30-34. anything 30-50, or 30-39 will be done later. i have done some teaming, almost every tf/sf/trial that is available based on level (missing a tv2) and random badging and fun stuff on teams. villains defeated 61,438 damage inflicted 8,301,375 damage taken 1,209,497 tasks completed 1,728 tasks failed 4 3,657 reward merits 40 prismatic aethers 9 mostrous aether 1,098 badges i know there are some missions i have missed, when a 30-34 contact has 1-2 missions to give only to 30-32. F-ing blueside.... but i have tried to get every single mission, not just story arcs. on "endless" contacts i do enough to turn the status to "kindred", then move on. i believe i have done about 99.9% of available missions, but i know i have done 99%+ of them. it may only be 99.7% though... I have just started red 30-34, have all 35-39, 30-39, 40-44, 25-50. 30-50 etc, and all 50 content to go. there are almost 200 contacts in my sheet to go. 80%+ offer a large number of missions. some depressingly large. not on my list but probable in the future are pvp zone missions, and the SSD, WWD arcs. there are, if you could meticulously track them all, probably 5-10,000 missions in the game.

I have thought about it. It would suck. But, please, keep tilting at those windmills

Why no ferry from the Rogue Isles? Or at least a cargo barge….

We are never getting an update on this. I will necro it in a year or two to find out…
