I have not posted my current build. (MiDs and I are barely speaking…). I will try and post it tonight or tomorrow. (Out getting “supplies”) 🧛 The playstyle is important to my build though. I use the PBAoE stun, as well as the ranged AoE stun. Both Mag 2, so Mag 4 stacked. I will use a fear cone, then throw the ranged AoE stun, then get into the group, which stacked the toggle AoE stun. Then i go through Nuke Chain. Tar patch, dark buildup, Nuke. (Sometimes Incarnate Nuke, then Reg Nuke). Then i hop out for AoE cones and/or ST dps. My build forgoes chasing defenses. I have an AoE heal, and a ST heal. I depend on those, and at 50 barriers on teams. Solo, the above strategy works great. I do use a TON of +range. This makes the cones as well as everything else work much better.

Yes, I can. It is feasible. Possibly easy. It is not going to happen. You are welcome. You get a temp power buff that lasts to 22 on DFB and there are 4 of them. All good. I usually run 4, then do Posi 1 & 2. Then i start looking for 4 DiB to extend those buffs to 30 while doing Tarikoss and Synapse. Also, do you do the tutorial and start in Atlas at 2, or just generate and enter Atlas at 1? Would that change this situation?

Justice Super Teamer have themed teams on For and Sun. We run all content, and you are more than welcome at any level. Do need a theme, fri is elemental and sun is electric and explosions. Good (bad?) luck with whatever you do!

Fun? ANY concept you enjoy. Scrappers and MMs are very different experiences. The playstyles are like completely different games. I encourage you to find a concept you really like. Build out a costume and AT/Powers for it. You may re roll once you decide a better AT/Powers might be... It took me forever to settle into a Dark^3 Corr. When you find a great concept, you enjoy everything you do. The hook might be a name, a costume piece, a story... Dive in and enjoy!

So many special thanks. Not shockingly i am terrible at social stuff. We had a great Tank. Ukase showed up (Cosmic Council Leadership). Voltor showed up, a veteran of the Cosmic RHW runs. A great group from Justice Super Teamers showed up and kept grinding! And lots of great gamers. Thank you all so much for making this happen.

Welcome to Snarky's PUG Really Hard Way attempt! On Saturday 10-11 at 4pm Pacific, on Excelsior We will meet in Echo Plaza for a madcap dash for the Really Hard Way badge. This will be modelled after Cosmic Council's (now defunct) weekly RHW runs, of which I took part in many many of. For those not familiar we run through the first part of the trial very fast. When the final boss fight starts it gets serious. We gather at the rim, we pop an Ultimate, we pop Hybrids, We drop Lores, and we Buff. In that exact order. While the Tank grabs the boss and pulls him to us. We kill the boss. Done correctly, with a properly powered league, this is insanely fast. You have to NOT kill the boss before at least one crackle happens. I suspect, on a league that does not know the fight, we might run through 3-4 crackles. Very very important, avoid ther Crackle, do not die. We need the DPS of your Lores! Sometimes the Crackle is invisible. Move your butt if you are taking damage. And that is the entire strategy. It is insanely fast done right. The **requirements** for our attempt (Saturday Sep 27 @ 4pm pacific) **What**: The Really Hard Way badge **Where**: Echo Plaza (accessed from Long Range Teleporter or from the white truck near AE in Pocket D) & our "League" Discord voice channel **When**: Every Saturday evening! Invites go out at 3:30pm Pacific to people who have contacted me first, then first-come first-serve beginning around 3:40pm Pacific. We start at 4pm Pacific _ _**Requirements**__: - **50+3** and **complete build** with set bonuses - **Alpha, Interface, Judgement, Destiny, Hybrid**: Minimum Tier 3 (Tier 4 preferred) -** Lore**: Any Tier 4 (prefer Banished Pantheon Core) - **Inspirations**: at least **4 Ultimates**, 4 Furious Rage, 4 Righteous Rage Imbuement (buy with Incarnate Threads from Luna NPC in Echo Plaza/Ouroboros) - **Discord**: Must listen in "League" voice channel on Discord (talking optional) __**Suggested**__ (recommended, but optional): - Other inspirations: 4 Intuition Imbuement, other super inspirations - Suggested Destiny Powers: Rebirth Core Epiphany -or- Barrier Radial Epiphany - Suggested Lore Power: Banished Pantheon Core Discord: CoH Homecoming in a Team Chat Channel (it will be the only one with a bunch of people on that Saturday, probably Team 1.... The super inspirations are an investment, but it is a difficult badge. I believe, even untrained as a League, there is a good chance we will get it on the first run. But, I have been wrong before.... If we get it first run, we will probably do a Triple Threat attempt. These are much harder, as it depends on random AV heals not happening at the exact wrong second. So, there is a good possibility of a Master Badge. But the Really Hard Way Badge is the goal and focus. hopefully power customization will solve the majority of these issues. or adding more customization is an option, less attractive due to time investment.

Water Blast might be an unchangeable set, like armors. Or, best case, you could change both types! of course the real obstacles are the old code might not allow any changes. (Solved by making an alternate power set for each damage type, copy paste) and/or Dev time/interest

You cannot switch secondary effects under my suggestion. Just the damage type. Switching secondary effects would obviously require rebalance. Switching damage types, in theory, should not.

Dark Cold Illusions Mental All seem good sets for that -
*facepalm NO So, take Energy Blast. Does Energy Damage, Knockback secondary effect. Change to Dark Damage. Still does Knockback So, Take Ice Blast. Does Ice Damage, a lot of slows, holds, -spd, -rech. Change to Dark damage, and KEEPS all it's secondary effects. unchanged.

the sets, and their secondary effects would remain unchanged. Otherwise you are rewriting and rebalancing. Only Damage type will be changed, and as stated, this will limit the number of sets this would work optimally on except, as stated, if the secondary effect includes the sets original damage type, which will be switched for the chosen type.

obviously, as stated with the armor sets, it could not be done everywhere. but some sets are "pure" and a damage change out could open up whole new character concepts

I do not know if this is possible. It is almost surely a non starter. But, … Take a power set. Fire Blast, Energy Blast, Cold Domination, whatever. Although I do not think this will work much with armor sets. Then generic it. Allow the player to pick the type of damage. Don’t like Fire? How about Dark? Don’t like Cold? How about Dark? Or, of course, energy, toxic, etc. The entire set, already balanced, remains unchanged. But the damage type, (including secondary effects if of same original damage type as set) switch to the new damage type. Add in power customization (99% of which is already done) and you have a generic version of the set. I believe this would encourage even more alting and enjoyment This is a one time choice made at rollup and can never be changed
