Yeah. Clean that out after every exemp. But seriously. I know some of the ourple sets have different set bonuses but dont all of them share the accuracy and rech? That gets nerfed after 5. I may be wrong because i am going by memory

It is okay with one or two sets of purples or if you only 4 or 5 slot them. But if you have five or more full sets of purples your characters head explodes.

Currently i am hoarding enhancers a few hundred globals procs atos and expensive sets in my alt only SG base my main hoarder is my slow levelling every redside mission and badgerAlt who is currently level 34 This character does all my marketing and inventing (badges) currently 284 enhancement converters (max was 1600 during Synapse week) 1346 reward merits (wanting to see how far the number goes up i spend my other alts merits for converters) and have transferred over Empyrean merits for when he does finally 50 (132)

NCSoft is a button down Korean corporation. They have people they pay to shut this crap down. They have people they pay to scan our forums. Oh yeah. On my solo redside project i shut off experience every five levels and do all story arcs. Then i finish that block of 5 turn on experience grab the double exp booster and rocket up. The patrol experience is nice but i am just not patient enough or desire to be organized enough to meticulously do this with each new alt

I highly recommend super strength willpower brute for this conceptually and functionally. At high level builds invulnerability armor is better than willpower but we are talking about just starting out i have run a ton of super strength, invulnerability and willpower on mostly Brutes. I soloed all redside on ss/will brutes twice. All solo content it is a very solid build and tons of fun whatever you choose good luckand welcome to Homecoming. Because i am nervous moving a few billion enhancers around and the last time i did one the game crashed. Then you have to /cleartray and i inevitably re-hotkey a bunch of stufff. It is just a pain

Am i missing something important about parking a character for a week? okay i have a process. I veer from it madly like a kitten chasing a laser pointer and sometimes it just gets blown out of the water completely. This weekend i got a random tell at level 1 invited to a farm. 2 hours later 32. Then i ran posi through manti plus itf. Same person sent another tell. Boom 50. Not my normal process Given a standard (again never happens, but this would be my dream run, i would do this by choice almost always) and what i trend back to when all the laser pointers are put away pop into mercy or atlas. Head to P2W vendor and get a ton of goodies. (I have cash in my email) if it is a villain i head to pocket D to go Rogue. Wish i did not have to, but DFB is 99% a Blue thing street sweep to level 4. Level and Hot key my powers. Run 4 DFB. At this point i want to run 4 DiB but if i am lucky i will get one of these and a badge out of it in the next hours of game play run Posi 1, 2, Synapse, Yin, etc in order. I try to do every Task Force in order but am pretty strict about the first 4. i have a SG base for all my alts stocked with enhancers. I rarely go needy in anything from globals procs ATOs or even low level SOs. keep grinding TFs and a weather eye out for high level teams if no good TF are running. Good being one i have not run in the last 20 hours and better if i need it. I will run ITF multiple times. The experience is great and the chance for purple drops is sweet. Same concept behind high level teams. hit 50. Over 50% time i go through a painful respec then. Off to ouro for incarnate intro mission. Run more of any content to earn incarnate goodness oh last part, very important, alt again

I vet two to three PvP on a good week. I do zero PVP (hate it) and run at below 35 95% time. Purples I get less of because i dint run that content. I ran a new toon in PI and picked up two purples in one day on it though these rates must be better than on live plus the PvP drops in any content we live in a blessed corner of the galaxy

We want the game to be accessible to those who have not played it through years and now are grinding away like its new again i try to answer questions with as much info as i can and try to write to someone who may not know what all the abbreviations and secret knowledge in the game is. People who may have been playing a few weeks or maybe some young geek just diving into mmorpg. there are many levels to this game. You can enjoy it running on SOs and having no idea what TFs are or how to survive a Mayhem Mission. And inventions? Looks way overhead. Because that was the way i ran for months. And i loved it. I broke out of the zig so many times when i first found the game i now have PTSD about lockups 😆

The reason i slapped it on Tanker is the AoE changes. And they are generous enough that you might want to look. Also with the weird arm motions i was able to make a joke Tank Mage and to me that is priceless

I don’t run Stone. I live Dark. And i run mostly Invulnerability using all Hyperstrikes ideas. i know what you mean about chasing an old build though. I want to recreate a super high recharge Dark/Invul Brute i ran back on Live. It was also a build i copied from a really elegant builder. Man i wish i had any of that data now good luck

This. Also you will find a LOT of good information being dispensed on these boards. These gamers are knowledgeable and seriously trying to help. The help is directed at dealing with what we have and how various people have problem solved it. Whether that is soloing an AV min/maxing a build running an efficient Supergroup or earning cash to bling out a thousand alts. not saying this is the method you will use. I am sure my method of earning will be looked down on by ‘real entrepreneurs” but it is comfortable for me and it works. also you may be the one that comes up with an entirely new way if doing something. Thats what all these geeks do. Me? I run my head into a wall a few times then come here to find out where the door is when i get tired of that 🤪

To address this very real problem. I have had a moment where i am sitting on hundreds of millions and the enhancer i want is not on the market. Sooooo. I buy another pvp purple or archetype. Sometimes in same set. Othertimes way out there cause it is cheaper. And i convert until i have the one i want there is a theme to my answers. enhancement converters. They will solve almost all your building issues. Whether it is a lack of funds or there not being the exact enhancer you want on the auction i cannot stress enough how much a difference it makes. If you are currently converting merits to converters and selling them then crafting will net you 2-3 times as much. And give power to create out of nothing earn merits and buy whatever you want

About a month ago i had the same complaint. The difference now is night and day. Yet i still have no fire farmer and alt as much as ever. to make it simple: craft enhancers. run content. Tinpex gets 80 merits and 2 emps or random incarnate stuff. Weeklies give easy merits. Run content on your character. I get PVP and Purple drops pretty regular take the merits change them to enhancement converters. Buy cheap level 30 recipes. Craft 20-70. Start converting them until you have heals, res, def, end mod sets. Convert those to specific sets that sell well or have procs globals. Convert within set to get desired enhancer. Sell enhancer. Merits—-> process—->cash just running 50 content with a big team also earns well. See a 50 team running in PI. Ads it will take anyone. Go be part of the muscle. You will earn and help community. And maybe get a purple drop. But TFs are king. ITF LGTF LRSF etc. weeklies. Anything that earns merits earns good cash

Help me understand this set please. A fee things; I found a character i like this set on. Thus is not in any AT section because i want input on the set not the AT. There is more traffic here and therefore a better shot at getting answers soooo. How does the boost power work on this set? my experience; i’ve been playing this on a Brute but Friday night i started a Tank and now i have an incarnate 50 with this set. My observations; on a Tank i am spamming Taunt and using the two AoE as the bulk of my work. I ran a bunch if TF on it and unless i was on a Elite Boss or AV this was the bulk of my work. After hours working with it i finally got into a rhythm of hitting the buff, hitting one or two quick attacks to build up a bit then launching the AoEs on an AV i go into single target mode. I hit the buff do some quick attacks then the big attacks Kinetic Melee is very odd. It has a ranged mode. This is short range (30-40) but it is definitely playable at that range. Which means the buff is not available because that is fed by melee attacks (right???). This works really well for the Mage Tank i rolled both conceptually visually and playstyle wise. My only issue is knockback. I crammed the build with sets and left no room for KB—>>KD procs. In fact until i did my level 50 respec i had a proc in the PBAoE that had a KB chance. When that hit they went flying. If i buffed up and gained a couple stacks in the Kinetic buff then hit the AoE and it proc’d? Fughedaboutit. They sailed like Atlas Park hellions hit by a Judgement power. I respec’d out of that and It seems less of a problem now. The cone still does knockback. I actually like that as it can be useful if you take the time to “forcefully herd” the enemies. It can be a pain for your ST melee teammates. The key is using it smartly any advice on this set, breakdown of using the powers and especially a better explanation of the buff power would be appreciated thanks is there a guide somewhere? Just thought about that but already tyoed all this out so j am posting it lol thanks

Well that is where my problem came in. I wasnt following the tank. I was predicting where the tank would be in a minute (inv brute surv time at that level) and jumping in there to grab agro. And i was wrong lol
