Indeed she does. That said, Sentinel sets (at least in my experience) also tend to have no snipe and an additional AOE to differentiate then from the corr/fender/blaster versions of their power sets. So... congratulations, your suggestion is already in effect? Sentinel blasts are successfully differentiated from everyone else's.

Most of them have gimmicks of one sort or another. Assault control is pretty good, assuming you can deal with all the ground targeting for powers. There's only like two abilities in the entire set that don't need a location target.

I like the Snakes redside for 1-20 mobs. They're interesting characters if you do the arcs that have them, and the complete murder hobo BS in the Dr. Graves arc with the serial killer guy and his "special snake mission" that I wont spoil for the... well pretty much everyone who doesn't play it because it's awful mission makes me RL furious the few times I've done it. The 45+ snakes are all kinds of suck, but the low level ones are great. I wish snakes got more game time, since there's IMO a lot of potential there in terms of culture and story that could have been explored but wasn't because they're not "hurr hurr spidurs" from Arachnos.

Barely. I watch their resource bars on the team menu to see if they're getting themselves killed, but otherwise I don't particularly care. If they grab a piece of action, it's their own obligation to solve it.

My most recent pun names are a ar/nin blaster named Colonel Barklay, who is a special operations commander sent to Paragon because the joint chiefs are really, really tired of all the nonsense that comes into and out of that metropolis. She has brought her ops team of all canine mutants/werewolves the Doggos of War along too. The other is a tanker (I forget sets) named Sarong It's Right. Her costume is a pencil skirt and top combo, since a sarong is a long thigh sheath style thing and the pencil skirt was the closest I could come.

History is cyclical. It just usually takes more than six years for the cycles to repeat. Let alone them repeating every 2-4 years.

That history is why the Live devs made some of the choices they did though, because the playerbase had repeatedly demonstrated that their sneakiness was more significant than the dev teams'. Of course a quarter million people beats a hundred-odd, but I assume the MARTY stuff was a hedge against what the devs would view as "the bad old days."
