To get this back on topic of ALL the reasons why an instanced would help rather then people tunnel visioning on 1 single reason: MAIN - Excessive arrival times to attend your own event. At the moment I am having to arrive an hour early to make sure I can get in before others, this isn't to organize or to set it up, this is just to secure my position in the zone. There is the chance I could form in Abyss 2 if Abyss 1 is full, but then I will have to deal with a ton of people sending tells saying they are in the zone when they are still in Abyss 1, a lot of added stress to the event just in that. Instanced would allow me to arrive in Echo Plaza where there is a 200 player cap, 5-10 mins before starting, getting the teams set up, and going from there. This also adds the benefit of if there are enough people there someone from the first hami league can run a second overflow one much easier (This is already being done most days when we have a second league leader). Leechers/Griefers When everyone is in the league, it is easy to see how many are afk, how many are hiding buds, how many are doing x/y. If you are outside of the league in the open world, you could be doing it perfectly and better then the rest, but I as a league lead have zero idea of that, and so I can not adjust how it is ran based on that to make sure the event succeeds. Instanced would allow me to know that everyone in the "zone" is on my little map so I can see when Jimmy runs off to log off early and takes a bud with him, unintentionally hiding it behind some rocks, it would also allow me to see people who are AFK since they either have the afk above their head after incan or don't accept incan, in which case we can wait a little bit for them to get back ❤️ To address concerns that people have kindly shown: Blacklisting I can not speak for all league leaders, but all the ones I speak to have a very select set of people they will exclude for their own personal reasons, not because we have a secret list we share about. I for one have a single person who has been an issue for over a year for creeping on myself and multiple girls, alongside comments I would not want to repeat. Solo players Sadly this will affect solo players who are helping, however similar to when or if you join an I-Trial, sometimes you need to join a league for the events that require a league to complete it. EoE drops They could up the drop rate of EoEs if that is possible, or people are normally more then happy to share the ones they have spare (I highly doubt this will affect the market since they sell for around 100 inf) I believe those are all the issues but please remind me of any I have missed, I want to help clear this up for as many people in a way that isn't us vs them ❤️

I know this is a draft (clearly 😄 ) But overcrowding is not an issue but the cause of an issue (Being showing up early) and the only thing the instanced does not fix in that list is potential raid failures, but that is always going to be an issue hun

Yeah I wouldn't want a huge amount of focus on this from the devs as I imagine they are already overworked as it is, but if it is something feasible I would like it to be made ❤️ Because I know soon the day will come where the zone fills without me and I can not get on any earlier, and I do not want to deal with the headache of a dozen tells saying their there but are in abyss 1, then people asking why we are not in abyss 1, it's a lot of added stress onto an already taxing task 😄 But it will lead to me being kicked out of my own event which is crazy to think about in any other context imo.

I feel like we may all be going slightly off topic here and going on about solo players vs league players which whilst slightly relevant is not the point of the suggestion. The suggestion is to give league leads better control over the content they run, be it from not having to arrive an hour early, or from choosing not to invite bad apples to the event 🙂 There's no point going in circles so can we agree to disagree about that part of the suggestion and move onto more productive conversations about the suggestion ❤️

The suggestion would benefit leagues and their leaders in a league event ran by the league leader, in the process cutting out solo play, in a league event...

We currently have the one I run, the early hami ran by @Oklahoman on a lot of the days, one ran in the hive at a bit later time, then sometimes even a overflow raid led by Okie again at the same time as mine, it doesn't make sense to have even more people having to lead these events then allowing the people leading them to start on time, without them having to take an extra hour out of their day to sit in a zone twiddling their thumbs

The way I personally run my Hamidons yes they do 🙂 I could run it the slower way and make everyone suffer because 6 people don't want to join the league, but that is unfair on everyone else who is actually making the event go successfully. The bit I am confused on, is it's fine if you want to play Solo, no issue with that, but you can't expect changes to league events to cater to solo play

With all due respect hun, It's not an event for soloists, same as trials or TFs aren't, easier things like MSR I can understand being solo in the bowl, but Hami needs the league to work together for it to work at all ❤️ And I do not hope the devs favour the solo experience over the league experience when it comes to league content

I would 100% kick a problem player out of an event I run, instanced or not, the difference is on an instanced I can fill that slot with someone who isn't a problem, in the zone they are free to get the exact same benefits without having to do as much work (And I mean problem as in starting fights, ignore the instructions, trolling etc) Bad actors get reported but there is only so much a volunteer team of GMs can do, if I can take a stress off of them by removing problem players from the event myself I would. Again with the solo play, it is a league event, not a solo one.

But you are not hearing any instructions, directions, or tips put into league chat. The fact you have an issue with a league event not being able to be joined as a solo player is a bit odd, you wouldn't expect that from most other content would you? Imagine doing an incarnate trial and not being able to fill the league because some people wanted to join it solo 🙂 I can not speak to the nature of the person you know, but the only person banned from the league I run is due to him stalking and creeping on multiple girls (And yes he has been reported and we have been advised to put him on ignore, which we have but he still comes to the zone to reap the benefits of the league (Which he proudly announces each time))

That is fine, but this is a suggestion to fix an issue you do not have on indom 🙂 It is a suggestion to fix the issue on Excelsior and possibly Everlasting.

My toon, my SG, and my friends are all on Excelsior, it is unreasonable to expect me to leave all of that just to run an event on time. What you are suggesting is great advice for newer players but not a solution to the problem 🙂

I just want to say that it isn't a case of "Inviting only my friends" to the event, it is a case of inviting those who want to help the raid succeed by paying attention and doing what needs to be done (As different league leads/zones have different ways to do it) For instance @Rudra you mentioned about going in and hitting the mitos which isn't how I run my Hami raids so you would be hindering the raid by taking up a spot of someone following instructions in the league. League/team leads don't get to control the zone they are in, BUT they should be able to control the event they are running for everyone, as it's their job to make sure it is run successfully. Hence the instanced version, same as every other huge league event that I can think of in game (Except the random invasions), allows the league leader to run the event better for all who want to attend 🙂 The suggestion will benefit everyone except for people who: Want to join the event but solo, or people who are banned (Which the league leader is allowed to do as per GMs wording). Just trying to throw in a suggestion to help keep the game thriving ❤️

I don't want to delve the comments into discussions about what is or isn't hurting the league. But coming from someone who has been running multiple events for years I can assure you, not joining the league and listening to the instructions given is a hinderance and the instanced version would allow league leaders to make it a better raid for the people who actually want to help the event succeed. It would also allow us to start it when we are ready, without us having to arrive an hour early and sit in the zone just to make sure we don't get locked out.

This is part of the problem, the league chat tends to be filled with instructions to make sure it is a successful run, the less people listening the more likely everyone fails. To me it is a form of unintentional griefing not listening to the league leads instructions, like joining a trial run and doing your own thing, and although people do not listen all the time in league, at least I know the CAN listen 🙂

You are the one who mentioned they might be dual boxing? And I have reported a multitude of them to the GMs to sort out yes. Not a crisis but annoying for people leading stuff within the game, which is helping keep the game alive. "Where is the council in all this?" No idea what you are asking here? 😄 "Has the council visited this zone?... or sent a GM representative to view for themselves?" Again not sure what you are asking here? But GMs have visited the zone and seen it first hand but I am not expecting a GM to turn up to every event ran. "Has the league leader employed an SG security team at the "zone entrance."" What on earth is some SG member standing at the door going to do XD Write down every name who enters the zone? People get there over an hour early so you expect them to be stood there marking down everyone who comes in? "Have the "leachers" been caught in the act?" Yes "Have the "leachers" been reported?... or just ignored?" Reported when found, but I am not going to search the entire zone to find the handful of people on hidden refusing to help out. "Do the "leachers" keep finding their way back to zone some other way?" Yeah, the same way everyone else enters the zone? Hopefully that help clears up why a few people hindering the event for everyone else is an annoying problem to deal with daily, and helps make my suggestion a bit more clear ❤️ Though if you have any more questions please do ask and I will do my best to help clear up the confusion 🙂

If they are dual boxing that is even worse? Not to mention bannable if caught by the GM lol. And that solution will just make it so the leechers ruin it for everyone else? Why should the league of people doing what needs to be done be punished because someone wants to leech the event?

There are two kinds of leacher that I can think of atm: 1 - Someone who refuses to join the league, doesn't help to spawn Hami, doesn't buff up the league, runs in to get a few hits whilst not helping much. 2 - Someone who does join the league, but just has auto tp on and auto PBAOE attack going, and since we teleport people to Hami to make it easier it allows them to AFK get credit. I can kick them from said league however now they just take up a spot in the zone for someone who will actually help. With the hiding buds it tends to be the number 1 leechers who don't listen when told to stay in the middle, so run off to their log out spot on the cliffs, causing a bud to spawn there whilst they log off (This has been visually confirmed multiple times)

I made this request a long while ago but didn't hear anything from it so I am making it again in hopes to get an answer on if it is possible or not. An instanced Hamidon raid in either Abyss or Hive but make it so both Heroes and Villains can join, at the moment I have found a lot of people are afking in the zone an HOUR before the raid is meant to happen so the people actually running have to either get there early before it fills or deal with the hassle of forming again in the second zone and dealing with dozens of tells saying "Here in Abyss and no one else here!" You also have the issue with leachers, there are now a handful of people who refuse to join the league and run in for a few hits, preventing people actually wanting to join the league from entering and can hide buds around the zone preventing him from popping again. Especially with the boom in players since the official announcement there is a huge demand for Hami raids (To the point we run them side by side a few days a week)

Honestly sounds quite complicated and sadly I don't see the Devs working on adding it as it's unlike anything we have atm where you swap control of one toon to another. Great concept though! 🙂

Having an option between percentage and numbers would be nice ❤️
