He is a little dink. He talks smack easily and tells you Time Waits for No One on the smallest of ledges. No super jump, no speed, no nothing. You probably can sprint and figure out the path, g dammit he just got stuck, figure out the best path and stick to it.. again he’s stuck.

I cannot say the viewing habits of others but this cranky old fan will not be watching any time soon as I do not agree with the direction of paramount + and cancelled my subscription 11/1. Loved lower decks and loved Picard season 3 with all the nostalgia, but the rest has not done it for me in years including the decade spent on the kelvan timeline movies. I personally wanted to see more of what happened to the known universe post Dominion War but we have had too many alternate timelines, prequels, sequels, and junk with too few engaging characters or stories. I can see at this point paramount needs to make the franchise relevant to someone so they can have their hey day and clearly mine was 30 years ago with Tng/ds9/voyager. I am voting with my limited income to try something new whatever that may be. I do not think I am those original series fans in 1988 comparing original series and upcoming tng and hoping they will fail - no I want some 12 year old nerd to find this franchise in 2026 and carry it forward.

i always assume positive intent as maybe the person is lower level and hoping a 50 will pop on to assemble the team. Or the person is just not comfortable leading. Personally I will make a butthead of myself and form a group good or bad and not afraid to make mistakes or fall flat on my face.

Since the return of COH my favorite features outside the 64 bit client and move to official license has been the responsiveness and stability of HC. Thank you volunteers for the return to service so quickly and the communication along the way! Other volunteer projects might have been crippled longer or debilitated permanently from such an unfortunate turn of events.

I agree with Ghost - post your suggestion and you move on. Don't take things personal and take the high road. I like the Suggestion Forum and make it a daily read but there's a lot of word salad that needs refinement or solutions looking for a problem. Even an excellent and awesome well thought out suggestion can be hamstrung by old tech or very limited volunteer dev time. A terrible idea should be picked apart until it is improved or concluded. God knows I have posted some real turds all the way back to LIVE forums. Should people stop? No! Keep them coming!

Nostalgia is tricky but the only way is forward with fresh ideas. I don’t want to go back to pre-HC at this point. I would rather try other post 2019 servers than go to pre issue 24 again. The good old days were the good old days but it’s time to move forward with new content and approaches. Problems will always exist in COH. Elements of this game will forever gain and lose favor based on whoever is running this thing. I do say anyone storing more than 20 emails in their account - good luck ! That thing is a risky black hole some days.

Very hard question - I have loved all of Cimerora and on my wish list is to see Croatoa turned cooperative and contented. I like COH for its sci fi super hero feel but it’s fun to dabble in the magic realms. I like the Red Caps, Jack of Irons and the giant green deer people.

If you can't afford to donate - don't worry! Just keep being awesome and help out the new players. You can offer to start teams in game, answer the questions you know in help channel or simply be kind to each other in game, in forum and discord! Ty volunteers, devs and communities for making summer 25 awesome.

Best of luck! Ty all you do. Victory has been a new quiet place to play my favorite game. My own employer started to swing the opposite direction this summer after years of small growth even under Covid and cost cutting by eliminating office space and other non people overhead but no more. My own team just eliminated open vacant jobs and plans not to backfill jobs with upcoming fall retirements. The revenue forecast is shifting from optimistic break even to negative or now super negative for FY 26/27 with promised government program dollars cut (we are still obligated to provide services), tariffs up/down and ever present inflation nibbling on things.

Keep things easy to access. We should be helping the new players learn the concepts and make it easy to give loot and things they can mess up and not have to grind a week to try again later. There are plenty of ways for individuals to make the game harder for themselves without dragging down everyone else. Up team size, levels, play naked without inspirations / enhancements etc etc.

I am still fatigued at years of too much Praetoria back on Live while Prime earth was neglected. Development on Praetoria for zone concepts, new art assets and game flow were really good but never seen by the people who only played heroes. However… yeah if there is a passionate developer with something new - stick it on Primal Earth too!

I do not log the hours I used to but I still check in for updates. I simply love this game and eternally grateful for the friends in real life I have made all over the world. For those that moved on I wish them fondly wherever they may be. I believe there is still gas in this game's tank to innovate, engage players of all ages with positive family friendlier content and be a source of inspiration and creativity. I have always liked the Mission creator, the super group base system improvements introduced by Homecoming or even simply fan art. Regardless of disagreements of the day this community still comes together. I like to think this is one place that can do more to bring people together and not divide us.
