I saw a review of the Barbie movie by The Critical Drinker on YouTube, and let's just say I will not and cannot support anything about this movie. It took something timeless and pure and twisted it into something ugly. No thanks.

I know there's an issue with the glowing Resistance shoulder pieces, but nothing is "too hard coded for asymmetrical" and none of the gloves options were intended to be asymmetrical as it was a feature added on Homecoming not long ago. And there is nothing special about the Talons pieces that would restrict coding them separately like other pieces, nor is there any reason aesthetically to keep them exclusively two hands or not-at-all... no glowing pieces, no extra polygons added on... nothing. I'd say this was more of an oversight issue than anything else.

I made a warshade, which is something I don't normally do... but I went through all my characters and saw that I didn't have one. This is Blind Visionary, the warshade that identifies as a peacebringer

I'd say liquid assets only. Net worth would probably double my total, but I can't spend the other half without gutting my favorite characters.

Released Propane Power back into the wild.

Very slick. Love it. Love everything about it.

Rick Rolled twice in one thread. I've lost all hope for humanity... and I'm not very thrilled with the Rikti, either.

If I liquidated the assets of my 50s that I rarely play... I might increase by another 2 to 4 billion.

That's why I suggested the bridge. Remaking everything on the map destructible would be a lot... so instead, make it just one or two things (like both sides of the bridge) and make that the focus of the monster since it's water-based and saving a bridge from destruction is a superheroey thing to do that we don't have elsewhere in the game.

I hadn't even thought about checking my unused merits. Thanks for the reminder! 😎

4,041,386,329 to be precise. I went through all 350 alts and recorded their current influence total in my spreadsheet. I've occasionally misplaced where the large sums are sitting, so I wanted to make sure I had it all listed so I could find it when I need it.

Compromise! Remake the map without the bridge to the island in the middle... then add the bridge as a destructible semi-permanent object. When the giant monster appears, it will move toward and attempt to destroy the bridge. You get GM XP for defeating the monster, but you get a badge for preventing the destruction of the bridge.

Maybe Kallisti Wharf. It could be the start of populating that zone.

I think we need a romance-themed archery control set that uses the Cupid arrows and has hold, immobilize, and confusion effects.

The names Giant Monster Slayer and Tempest Hammer are available if anyone wants it.

That's a good idea for things that that would have to be emailed individually, such as recipes, enhancements, and salvage. But just nothing but influence moving around is fine to email it. Just throw it all in an email Log out Log in the next character Claim influence from email Then email the new combined total back to myself again Repeat as necessary until all characters have been logged in and robbed

Why do they keep changing?? Where's the TV? Where's the satellite? Where are all the others that were newly introduced? Why is there a shark and a radio and a saxophone now? Why do we need a love letter when we have the heart for "Like"? More importantly, why is there still no lightning bolt to show when we find something shocking?!?

I moved a majority of my characters from Torchbearer over to Excelsior awhile back, and the ones that got left behind ( 😟 ) are those that I didn't want to change the names of because they weren't available on Excelsior. Usually when I need money, I just do a little farming, but today I decided to go back and rob all my alts still on Torch... any influence in excess of a million, and good salvage or recipes... Sold everything off and kept collecting and emailing back to myself in greater amounts until I came up with a grand total of:

The dark/storm corruptor is hella fun. The ice/ice brute is my farmer. I find ice crops last longer getting to market than fire does... but not much longer in this summer heat.

I've recently started tracking my influence as well as other details. With over 300 characters, I've occasionally lost track of where I've left large sums and had to go logging in every character until I find it.

The powerset you'd love, but you know will never be implemented

Storm Armor for tanks, scrappers, and brutes. Start with basic all around auto resistance like High Pain Tolerance from Willpower, borrow and tweak several powers from Storm Summoning, and then fill in the gaps. 1. High Pain Tolerance (Willpower) 2. Steamy Mist (Storm Summoning, but maybe add in some resistance to physical damage to bring the set on par with others' basic protection) 3. O2 Drain (Storm Summoning, like O2 Boost but is a self-heal that also damages those in close proximity via partial suffocation as you pull the air from their lungs) 4. Stormy Disposition - mez protection, maybe some psi Defense to make up for lack of damage mitigation overall 5. Downdraft (Storm Summoning, like Hurricane but with knockdown instead of knockback... and no repel) 6. Blizzard (Storm Summoning, like Snowstorm but centered on user but also inflicts a -ToHit penalty on those affected and grants added resistance to cold and fire) 7. ??? 8. Thunderclap (Storm Summoning) 9. Thunderstorm (Storm Summoning, like Lightning Storm but instead of summoning an immobile pet you transform into the storm cloud and gain phasing for 30 seconds. It's an oh shit button that protects you from damage briefly but lets you still deal damage to random targets by shooting lightning bolts at whatever's close) -
That's a good mix of armor pieces to achieve that body armor.
