Gr33n Posted Thursday at 06:30 PM Posted Thursday at 06:30 PM Nuclear Space Bug wasnt always Earths quirkiest cosmic crusader. Once, he was just your average beetle, hitching rides on space junk, vibing through the galaxy. But fate had other plans. During a routine orbit around a rogue satellite, he tumbled into a swirling vat of radioactive ooze (because, of course, space is messy). Instead of meeting a crispy end, this plucky bug mutated growing to human size, gaining incredible strength, speed, jumpin', and the ability to emit radioactive bursts that make Geiger counters weep. His brain? charged with cosmic knowledge, though he's still figuring out Earth slang and hilariously misspeaks often. Now clad in gleaming armor with a big ol' bug symbol on his chest, he battles interstellar villains, toxic tyrants, and a giant space roach. all Nuclear Space Bug really wants... is to find a good taco joint in the Milky Way. RikOz Posted Thursday at 11:21 PM Posted Thursday at 11:21 PM (edited) Tonya Toronto is my 49th level 50! (Ice Blast/Ice Armor sentinel) This completes leveling my little SG, "The Extracurriculars" to 50. Well, nine of them, anyway. The 10th is Dahlia Danger, who was their teacher at the Galaxy City International School for Superpowered Girls. Dahlia was, in reality, an undercover Arachnos agent whose task it was to subvert the students at the school. Alas, the Shivan meteor incident destroyed the school and completely disrupted Dahlia's mission. She escaped back to the Rogue Isles, where she remains stuck at level 25 because she's a Dual Pistols corruptor and I've discovered I really dislike Dual Pistols. So canon-wise, Dahlia was imprisoned for her failure and hasn't leveled any further. Her students think she died in the meteor disaster, and decided to form their own super group. Anyway, as with my previous Extracurricular to reach 50, I designed Tonya's level 50 costume quite some time ago, and now that she's there, I don't like it any more. So, as hitting 50 occurred a couple days after the opening of the new Kallisti Wharf (and she did the last half of her trip from 49 to 50 there), I decided to avail myself of the new Blackwing costume pieces. I kept the original Metal top and bottom, but changed the pattern and replaced everything else. I like it. EDIT: Tonya is the only member of the group for whom I have not written a bio. She is meant to be Canadian First Nations (i.e. indigenous Canadian), but I had no luck in trying to find a culturally-appropriate surname for her. Edited Thursday at 11:27 PM by RikOz 5 1

The character never really worked out for me, but I kept the costume design. Echolight Pyrotechnic Control/Sonic Resonance Controller "Once more... with pyrotechnics this time." and... Headstrong Psychic Blast/Psionic Armor Sentinel "Stop complaining about the headache. You weren't really using your head for anything useful anyway." Good looks! What's the top option there that you have for the female toon?

It's one of the mask options, along with the little captain america wings or the little "saturn" loops/rings on the head... Troo Posted Sunday at 04:42 PM Posted Sunday at 04:42 PM (edited) Public Service Announcement Costume creators! Heads up - Some of the amazing regulars are happy to provide info on how to do stuff. Just ask. Common Tips I Wish I Knew Earlier: When creating a post and uploading an image we can resize that image by double clicking on the image. Be sure to have 'Keep original aspect ratio' checked. Enter a desired size such as 100 then click somewhere else. This will auto calculate the other dimension. There are also up/down arrows. Getting the height to 400-ish or 500 range seems to work well and allows room to put images next to each other rather than just stacking. After posting, viewers can click on an image to enlarge it. (so we don't have to have 'em huge) There are storage limitations on this board, and it is fairly generous. When we hit the limit for our account, deleting some to upload more is common. This can be done at 'My Attachments' by clicking the little arrow next to our avatar at the top right (phones / devices may vary) There are some sorts to help put the largest upfront, sort by date, etc. If you have a tips related to costumes or posting them please share.
