If Only... TW for Stalkers!!!

Interesting how long the "SS for Scrapper" thread is but not much talk about TW for stalker. 

 

I imagine the PBAoE (what was it? Whirling smash or something) would be the power to drop for Assassin's Strike. Build Momentum would be replaced with Build up... Not a big deal since Assassin's Strike would be fast to gain momentum. 

 

Considering how much control a Stalker has over their crits, it might be a bit much...

I mean, it's a bit much as it is, regardless of AS. You'd have to lose one more power though to placate, so you'd probably lose Titan sweep for that and either rend armor or follow through for the AS. Those are the main two single target powers helping Tw, so losing one for AS might mean less improvement than for some other sets.

I have a feeling it would send the mob to the afterlife crippled lol.  I would of said no to TW years ago on Stalkers but I actually have enjoyed non-sterotypical stealth sets like Fire Melee and Elec Melee.

seconded 100% all three TW Stone and war mace on stalkers would make me so happy

I've found a Bane spider to be almost a good War Mace stalker, but ya, those two would be nice.

as junky as hurl boulder is, the thought of throwing one from the shadows and taking someone from surprise is why I want stone melee for stalkers.

"Sneak Attack" is the preferred term when backstabbing with a bastard sword

Sadly I don't think that this will ever happen 😞 oh well, one can dream! When I started this thread, it was to see if there was interest in it, I'm gathering there is but due to balancing issues it won't come to pass.

It's as balanced on a Stalker as it is on a Scrapper, Tanker, or Brute.
