What the heck is an "export string"? and where do you get it?

 

Assuming you already have a character in Badger, you get their export string by selecting that character then clicking on "Export Character" in the top right corner.  This will give you a string that you can copy and use later to re-import that particular character. Note; Badger doesn't save those strings, you'll have to store them away yourself.

EDIT: lemming pointed out that the year is wrong for the current version. I still have it as 2024 and it should be 2025. Most folks will never notice this so I am not going to bother re-pigging and reuploading it, but I have fixed it locally and it will be right in the next update, whenever that might be.
