damnimgood Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 (edited) I have two dual pistols sentinel characters. Which would be more effective, dual pistols/regeneration or dual pistols/super reflexes? Edited October 2, 2021 by damnimgood
SmalltalkJava Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Both probably. DP is nasty. With good enough recharge you can run a three attack single target rotation. Check out my dp/sr build post. I need to update it with my most recent changes but it's basically the same. Just a week ago I posted some nice pylon times in the scrapper pylon times thread. I think @nihilii knows about dp/Regen. I got my concept from nihili iirc. 1 Baseline MM Henchmen Defenses and Resist Values MM - Beast Pets - Pet Attack usage and some quick proc testing
Six-Six Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 The Sent's version of SR is better because of Master Brawler. SR also increases recharge so you can have Hail of Bullets go off on a single mob 😃. Personally, I think WP will out-regen Regen, but at the cost of slightly higher end consumption from all the toggles. 1 My Toons
Caulderone Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 /SR is very good on Sentinel /Regen can be built to be pretty ok, but frankly you can get a more robust, similar setup with /Elec. You end up with slightly less regen/heal, but way more resist to assist that regen/heal.

However with the 1000 returns it is hard to dig through all that. So I ask in posts.

nihilii Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 DP/SR is much better than DP/Regen IMHO. Simply because SR is absurdly good on Sentinels.
Hyperstrike Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 I have a DP/Inv. And it's a thing of beauty. If you want to be godlike, pick anything. If you want to be GOD, pick a TANK!

oldskool Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 5 hours ago, Elia87 said: How is the dmg of DP on sentinels compared to the dmg on blasters/corrs? It is generally less, but there are degrees to the impact that may or may not matter to you. Blasters, Corruptors, and Defenders all have higher AoE potential than a Sentinel does. This isn't unique to Dual Pistols this is a broad AT vs AT topical issue. Again, the degree to which this creates a hinderance to your own personal enjoyment of the game is entirely subjective. Single-target damage can be a lot muddier because builds/context matter a lot with this. The reason why I bring this up is due to how Sentinel powers function with their deliberate single-target changes, prior to snipe changes, how those changes interact with build decisions and the implementation of the armor sets. Yes, that's a lot to say, but if anyone tries to tell something about these set comparisons in a vacuum take it for the total bullshit that it is.
