Hello everyone!

As always with these posts, I’d like to drop a quick reminder that there are more ways to support Homecoming than just through donations. For a general overview of the different ways you can help Homecoming, check out this thread.

Last Month: January 2023

Last month we accepted $4,095.63 in donations, $22.97 over our target for the month. As always, any additional funding remaining at the end of each month is put towards our operating expenses for the following month or additional expenses for the current month.

Here is the breakdown of our expenses for January:

  • $4,369.03 for our hardware infrastructure from OVH
  • $286.97 to pay a legal invoice (incl. transfer fees) related to obtaining our Code Signing Certificate
    • Included in February’s donation goal, but mentioned here for clarification on the charge in the screenshot below.
  • $121.25 for our Google G-Suite services
  • $25.00 for our Air instance from Paperspace
  • $20.00 to refill our Twilio balance used for programmable SMS
  • $19.83 for the AWS EC2 instance serving our email
  • $9.73 for security / administration software

I donated 30 dollars this month. I'm happy to help when I can. I just need to ask a question for my own records. I will receive a notice from my next bank statement or in the near future that I donated to you guys? This is just for my records. Glad this game exists at all.

Sorry for the late reply. I get both an Email and a line item on my bank statement about my donation.

I don't play much these days and want to thank Homecoming for all they've done.

This will be the first month, in a long time, that I won't be donating. My brother has put my elderly parents in financial ruin and I have to help as much as I can. It has caused a lot of hardship and problems.

It's sometimes not as much fun to be a Hero in the real world, but it matters a great deal more. Glad to see there are still some out there.

Very nice of you to say. I guess the positive piece is now that I won't be going out as much...I'll be playing more... lol.

I think I will be cutting those fiends at Netflix as well. So even more time to CoH! lol
