City Mod Installer (Released)

I'm probably dumb, but after reading through this thread I still cannot figure this out...Just got a new comp and have been trying to download the vidiots etc, and this is what keeps happening no matter what. I'm gonna post basically me walking through each step verifying things are correct to the error.

When exactly do you get the crash?

After I set C:\Games\Homecoming as the game path, it tells me that "No installed mods were found in the database" and when I hit okay it pops up. If I hit continue, it opens mod installer. If I try to add to the HC launcher, it says to ensure it's closed (which I do) and when I hit okay, it pops again. It also pops up if I try to install any mods, but I assume (maybe incorrectly) it's because I got the error before it even fully opened the modder anyway.

 

I've launched CoH after messing with it (even tried installing the corrupted one, but same error message) and the game runs fine, but no mods are being able to be added. I think I've read through the entire thread and can't figure out what's wrong. It may just be a "me" issue and I'll just have to settle for vanilla lol

Can you go into the directory with the CoHModder executable, open the config.json in any text editor (notepad, etc) and paste it here?

Yeah... that's right, except the GamePath value is missing somehow... I'm confused how that's even possible.

 

EDIT:
OH, I see the issue and will push a fix out ASAP.

This should be fixed with the latest update to the mod installer.
