Purely for fun, not really a suggestion.

 

If you've been part of a "murder hotel" league, you've probably seen more than your fair share of Eochai and Jack In Irons during the Halloween events, possibly to the point of boredom.  If you were part of a design team wanting to increase the number of Giant Monsters appearing for next year's Halloween event, what GM would you create?

 

For my part, I think I'd create some sort of Lovecraftian horror: a land-based GM based off of the components for the Lusca water GM. (Probably a different skin, though.) Composed of a Core creature (subbing for the head of Lusca, and roughly the size of Jack In Irons), a few larger, slower tentacles surrounded by several smaller, faster, more maneuverable tentacles. The idea of the league having attacks coming from more directions, and possibly hitting a bit harder has a certain appeal to me.

I want the pumpkin on top of Atlas to pop up out of the ground and have four or five Eochai guarding it (that respawn) They'll do some kind of worship emote in a circle around the growing pumpkin. The pumpkin should grow over a set period of time and once large enough, it will act as a giant bag of HP = # of players, with no regeneration. If players defeat it in a certain amount of time, they get 20 Reward Merits, a pumpkin pie eating emote similar to the hotdog or burger animation, and a badge called "Pumpkin Carver."

Yeah, having all of the existing GMs popping up as a supernatural force is pulling them in from all over the city to cause mayhem. That would be very neat.

Look, I am sure there was a time, say in the 1920's that Candy Corn was considered good, I mean you could put sugar on just about anything back then and call it candy.  But in 1942 when FDR mandated that corrugated cardboard and pencil shavings be used for the war effort instead of for making candy corn, that was when it should have faded as a candy.  But then again that WAS the last time it was actually manufactured, they are still trying to get rid of the surplus.

proper magical practice is a science, not an art. if a spell works it's because it is a repeatable routine that conforms to hidden laws of the universe. physicists are just wizards.

I like the idea.  It would bring a red side GM onto the blue side, presumably allowing a badge for those who don't cross the line.

  • Deathsurge.  The GM is associated with the Cap au Diable Demon faction according to the Wiki.
  • Ghost of Scrapyard
  • Lord Winter - though seeing as he's given the month of December, it might be best to leave him there.

You might think Science can't - but maybe you don't understand the science enough - yet. It might just take a special type of candle...

I mean seriously, of course it's not the same, but in game?

Ha! Tell that to the bag I ate last Saturday! I mean, it took a few hours to get feeling back in my toes, but it was totally worth it.
