I'm also largely a soloer or play with my wife and daughter. I don't do large group content. I'd be willing to bet there are a lot of solo/small group players out there who aren't concerned about making sure they have the best IO sets.

 

I also don't ever camp names. I'm a writer and enjoy creating characters and seeing how their own stories progress. Some characters are played significantly more than others, but if a character concept doesn't really click with me, I delete the character. There's always more concepts to play with. 🙂

This is largely me. I accumulate a ton of IOs (purples, winter) to give them away on my Brute every winter holiday season.
I do tend to kit out my alts, but that stopped a lot when the D-Sync Acc/Rech became a necessity, as I don't really enjoy flipping or anything.

The cool thing here is that you can do most tasks in under 30 minutes (excepting longish TFs and arcs) and it's still a very casual pace. Love it, can't wait to see who made those grafitti in Ouro.

Looks to me like they're promising content in Kallisti Wharf. I see Warriors, Crey, and possibly DE being added for street spawns and missions. No going back on it now with talk of "nothing is finalized" nonsense. 😉

 

Since the zone is hero/villain co-op, will we see things like police and Crey being treated as semi-neutral spawns that can be provoked into battle by attacking them, depending on alignment? How will Nemesis and his many plots figure into all of this? And what is up with the police drones in KW? Are they private security or is the Wharf meant to be adjacent to Paragon City but actually a separate city with its own police force and other details?

 

I'm really looking forward to all of this, but I am especially curious about that Ouroboros pic. New symbol added to the ground where the portal should be. New management with new goals? Is the portal moved or just disabled for this pic to give us a better look at the symbol to make us all wonder about the future?

They're replacing all tanker primaries with Regen.  (After they nerf it of course)

I just want to point out that of course Khelds will be the lowest AT created as once you've made a PB or WS, you don't make another PB or WS.  Blasters, Brutes, etc.. you have so many different power types that you will likely create multiple of these ATs.  No shame on Khelds, just the reality that they will likely be the lowest created each year.  This doesn't mean they are the least played, just the least created.  ❤️ to all ATs, ❤️ to COH!

Kheldians are an interesting distraction, but yeah they can be pretty boring.

It's been WAY TOO LONG since I've seen Masterminds make the top of ANY list.

 

I gotta admit, as much as I always liked the AT as-was, the buffs and changes and the new Marine Affinity powerset has made 2024 the best year for MM's yet.  I T4'd out no less than an even dozen MM's, some of which had been abandoned in their early 40's for over a year.  Lots of respecs used to account for the changes but boy oh boy were they worth it!

Hey I love stats and I was thinking something other cool stats you could maybe pull is. How many lvl 50s there are snd what the pie chart brakedown of them. And maybe even AT play times. I know you can get play time from "talking with" npcs but I'm not overall sure how much data is tied to that.
