Troo Posted Thursday at 10:49 PM Posted Thursday at 10:49 PM Why are these so expensive on the black market? "Homecoming is not perfect but it is still better than the alternative.. at least so far" - Unknown (Wise words Unknown!) Si vis pacem, para bellum
kelika2 Posted Thursday at 10:53 PM Posted Thursday at 10:53 PM no idea for the few alts that can slot travel powers id rather have some set bonuses and single slot travel powers are probably better off with a 50 io and for pvp you cant beat teleporting to avoid trouble
Hedgefund Posted Thursday at 11:23 PM Posted Thursday at 11:23 PM This is the one HO I don't even bother evaluating if I should squirrel it away or not, straight to the /AH these go. I have no use for this whatsoever. I recall them being significantly more expensive a few years ago. PVPers do like this piece because they tend to fight with SS on. Note - I'm not a PVPer so I have no firsthand knowledge whatsoever, I just remember PVPers wanting to buy mine whenever I showed my prize after an LR/ML. Even today it can go into swift to boost both fly and run speed. I've seen people use this as justification for using them. This is the only means of boosting both since Universal travel sets aren't allowed in Swift. 1 1

COH Radgen Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I DO like using them in Swift, especially for Kheldians so it boosts dwarf teleport, squid fly and whatever human movement I'm using. 1 @Radgen Mostly on Torch and Ex
Ukase Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I think it's just a hold over from when pvp was more popular. Most folks who are aiming for a particular build might use the inf for a few micros to boost to 53 because it does boost the endurance as well as the other attributes. In pvp, it was done quite a lot. And they don't just fall from the sky, either. They drop a little more often than the acc/threat/recharge D-syncs, but they still drop infrequently. At least, that's my anecdotal perception. I tend to just put them in my tanks or brutes, as my squishier characters tend to use the sets for the bonuses. And even then, I slap a boosted quickfoot end/run to use until my low ball bid comes through.
arcane Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Nowadays I always put multiple slots in SS/SJ, but if I were to 1-slot those powers it would definitely be with D-Sync Accelerations.
macskull Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They’re the best bang for your buck for enhancing travel powers, and they only drop from a few pieces of content. 1 "If you can read this, I've failed as a developer." -- Caretaker Proc information and chance calculator spreadsheet (last updated 15APR24) Player numbers graph (updated every 15 minutes) Graph readme (now with Victory support!) @macskull/@Not Mac | Twitch | Youtube
