Missions

Trials

Raids

Taskforces (or Strikeforces)

Giant Monsters

Is there any other content to see, aside from the above? I know there are many AE missions but those are done by amateurs using a watered-down mission system, so I won't do those until all the real content is done first.

If I do every mission and story arc and all instanced group stuff on a Hero, a Villain and a Praetorian, that would be it for all the available content, aside from PVP zones/minigames/basebuilding.

What else am I missing?

At max level a player has skipped ~93% of the game.

You can play down, but that content is trivial at max level since it was designed for much less capable characters. You'll need another character to access some of the content as it can be out leveled. (some accessible via Ouro)

If I am remembering correctly there are around 5,000 missions not counting Architect Entertainment player created stories.

You may have referred to some of these already:

Signature Stories

Incarnate Trials

Radio Missions

Newspaper Missions

Mayhem Missions

Safeguard Missions

Unlockable Contacts

Day Jobs

Weekly Strike Target

Architect Entertainment

You got the "there are many" part correct.  The rest, not.

How do I put this...

One character having done those things can certainly give you a fair idea of what's available in game. But the same way a sibling experiences your family differently from you, so would a different AT experience the game differently than another. Even the same AT with a different powerset is going to approach the same tasks with a slightly different mindset and strategy. Or maybe that's just me.

I would suggest when one character hits 50 t-4 in all, try one that's fairly opposite, like a tanker instead of a blaster.  An MM instead of a scrapper. The more alts you play, the better teammate you're likely to be, as you'll understand your teammates' pain points. (a squishy getting stunned, a tank losing endurance to a sapper - and maybe your alt can be the one to change the outcome)

The game has a lot of stuff to do. But the goal isn't to go through every single thing with one character just to get through it. The goal is to enjoy the ride. That said, I am someone who is a bit nuts and can easily find myself trying to rush through things just to get them done for an accolade. So, it's hardly fair for me to say it. But, that doesn't make it any less true. If you're not having any fun or interest in it, you're losing. At least, that's my opinion.

Unless you know some of us are getting paid to play, I'd say we're all amateurs.
There are certainly some folks who spend most of their time in AE and aren't very knowledgeable about the game outside of it. But there are also players that look at AE as a giant puzzle to solve, and they can make it a different puzzle whenever they've solved the first one. Try not to paint the whole population of AE with the same brush.

Yep you haven't really done it "all" playing just one character.  Running an Empath solo and teamed are very different leveling experiences.  Then switching to a Dark/Dark defender is different as well and very different from running a blaster etc., etc.  There's Hardmode versions of some of the TFs, leveled on SOs only, solo'd AVs ...

Unlike many other MMO's, the content to play during levelling, is very much worth playing. I still rank Ouroborous / the Flashback system as the best thing the Retail devs ever added.

AE there will be a fair bit of chaff to sift through. But there are some truly amazing player created story arcs.  SFMA  ("Story Focused Mission Arc") is a good keyword to search for in the AE navigator. There's nothing wrong with leaving them for last, but don't assume that everything in AE is garbage. (There IS garbage of course, but it's worth sifting through to find the gems after you've done the regular story arcs many times)

If you're already standing around wondering what to do, I feel you're likely to get bored pretty quickly.

Tim "Black Scorpion" Sweeney: Matt (Posi) used to say that players would find the shortest path to the rewards even if it was a completely terrible play experience that would push them away from the game...

People have listed lots of other things, but here's what I would add -

Costume Contests

Mentorship/Assisting others

Making your own story with friends

Just hanging out and chatting

A big part of this game is it's social aspect. It is an MMO after all.

In addition to "just playing", there are opportunities to use the game to be creative: base building and costume making can break up any tedium.
