  1. Having minions crowd around you would help quite a few types of defenses: Shield, Inv, Willpower, heck most now that i think of it
  2. Radio missions that have a blinkie objective also require you to clear the room that the blinkie is a part of. Something that got added when people were breezing thru missions for the end XP. On regular missions there are quite a few stealth kill all missions. The hcwiki has most (if not all) those missions flagged: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Colleen_Nelson#Rescue_Leon_Natale_from_the_Council
  3. I have a Fire/Fire stalker named Burning Sensations. Other Fire/Fire have just been a Brute, Blaster, Sentinel, and the Corrupter. And I do have a mastermind that is Demon/Thermal which is about how close you can get. Blaster is my favorite, but I do prefer the /time secondary though my very first character Super Vixen was a fire/fire/fire blaster.
  4. Arachnos airlines seem to be pretty decent, normally dropping you off at the right mission. I'd raise an eye if Luddites were running an airline...
  5. I kinda like the name of "Scoot Airlines"
  6. Note, my Helter Skeletor got generic'd though depending on how the name got interpreted.
  7. Yea, I got my Regen Claws scrapper up to the either you're alive or dead phases of Regen and it was a blast. It needed tuning, but I think everyone thinks it got tuned too far. I think it got tuned to levels that didn't account for ED and never got back. Really what I'd like to see if good regen & recharge debuff resist in it and instant heal to be more like the sentinel toggle.
  8. From last week, it was more about ordering large quantities of some industrial thing. (Man, that spam didn't stick for long in my brain)
  9. I do prefer that this happens. Arctic Fog plus Stealth allows me to sneak while allowing me to keep my defense up. I might drop Stealth later and just tp past close mobs since it's normally good enough if I keep a little distance. I'm not really affected by the SS change, but one still gets some stealth, just not a "be sitting 5' away" stealth.
  10. Ah, he was paid and probably enjoyed himself, even if the film was a formula.
  11. I took a glance at the score code, and looks like they are already uints at least in the trade code. (And again note I did say the caveat of a fton of code to check. My background was porting stuff between different OS'. Nothing is as easy as said is the default.
  12. For something that is tricky to time, but is hilarious when it works. Firing off Meteor, and then Fold Space on the targetted spot.
  13. I really enjoy TP now that is has the increased hang time. My Inv/Axe tank is a big fan of fold space followed up with Axe Cyclone to get them in even tighter. (Though Cleave works when they get strung out by Fold)
  14. Hence my "However, I'm sure there would be a lot of code to screw with" though I didn't account for the DB as well. And yea, I was involved in a 32-64 conversion back in 2001. Big headache which is another reason I'm impressed with the HC devs. I do think it's more trouble than it's worth, more of a thought experiment.
  15. This is all speculation on my part since I'm being lazy and not looking at the Score code, but it seems that influence started life as a signed 32 bit integer and limited to 2b. If it's now signed, that would allow a possibly easy way to make it 4b. Since HC did make a lot of the code 64-bit, that number could be increased quite a lot. However, I'm sure there would be a lot of code to screw with and it is a problem only for a smaller percentage and the ability to suddenly drop a lot more influence would give those with larger pockets and easier time to destabilize the market. And as Poptart mentions, increasing capacity would just make it more likely we'd hit the bigger cap.
  16. I have a Axe/SR scrapper that I'm starting to spec out the defenses a bit better, but even with only a few sets in, hits very hard. Really only faceplants if I do something very stupid. Normal amounts of scrapperlock are survivable.
  17. We call that the 2 minute or an hour mission. Can't say I have ever found him on the roof, but there are a couple spots that he rarely is at that used to throw me.
  18. That is my most hated room though thankfully, it comes up rarely. Full maps: The last map for the shard TF that is a foggy cave. Oranbega, mainly because of those gd torches. Any map with the surgery curtains that are made out of toughonium
  19. I run 2xp on most of my characters. My level 50 veterans make more per mission than my characters at low levels. More influence can be gotten via selling recipes, enhancements, etc... My all content character does no XP most of the time, and 2xp to get to the various level breakpoints. They're making way more influence by marketing their drops than anything else.
  20. We have a couple new ones playing with us currently.
  21. We have the 'Haves and the "You have how much!!!?"' I think people struggle with their first character if they don't get a boost, but once they have one 50, it gets way easier. And that's building tricked out characters. If you're teaming, you normally don't need a super build.
  22. As someone who saw that and didn't recognize the source, it's a dated reference and like a lot of sexist crap, shouldn't be repeated. You can still enjoy old stuff, but realize it's not relevant to current times. I've been called out for using an old saying that shouldn't be used. What you do is acknowledge it and try to do better. I will say the DM you got was over the line.
  23. Once I was on a Citadel TF and we didn't have the second mission at the same door as the first.
  24. I prefer stomping on eggshells. (though be sure to wear shoes with rugged enough soles)
