  1. You may get some push back on a thread about sentinels if you just come in and say they suck. There are a bunch of topics where their strengths and weaknesses are discussed.

  3. I think most badges for "ALL" of a type of badge is a constantly changing target. Heck, we have a few badges that are for doing all of some missions for some areas which is unclear what happens if the devs add more content.
  4. I decided I was going to limit how many alts I actually had, so I've been doing a lot of stripping. A second account can help, but you can do this all in base storage as well. (Except recipes) Respec is definitely the way to go for getting all the enhancements off your character. Salvage and enhancements can go into base storage. Vanguard Merits convert to reward merits. Convert Astral merits to Emp Merits. Reward merits & Emp Merits can be turned into Hero/Villain and Transcendent. If you're close to 50 on one, it's usually worth it to do something to get to 50, rather than email 40 of something. Then email to yourself. Sell off any medium and lower inspirations to a vendor. Convert any incarnate salvage to threads and buy super inspirations. Large & Super inspirations can either be auction housed, or stored in the base. And of course, selling everything is another valid technique. Once you have sold everything and passed everything you can off, email the influence to yourself.
  5. I started a Energy Blast/Devices blaster as a joke. Turns out to be a lot of fun even if I sometimes have to chase down a mob that gets knocked back without them dying first.
  6. You can wind up showing extra costume bits in the Super Group Window settings for costumes. I see this happening with Ears, but I haven't checked the other body parts. I suspect it's similar to the bug when you do a single player mission and Praetor Duncan gets a tail, etc... To recreate: 1) Check Super Group colors with a character that has Cat or Bunny ears. 2) Login a character with the same body model without ears 3) Open up the Super Group color settings and note ears Harmless bug since it doesn't show outside this window, just disorienting.
  7. macros and binds I use are various base entry codes, teleport binds, targetting, BadgeSetList, and a couple other popmenus.
  8. Been doing a slow work with a brute thru arcs as well. Energy/Bio currently, but have done a few other combos as well. If you do want to stealth, make sure to pickup the "Only Affects Self" power from P2W so when you stealth past mobs, your aura doesn't alert them.
  9. I think what's probably happening is some error is causing the function to exit abnormally and the proc is from a separate independent function
  10. iirc, I fixed my issue with it by using base teleport or LRTP to just get to a different zone. I have had it happen a few times.
  11. My badger is a scrapper and for most badge goals, works well. @Voltor would probably be a good source since he's got ALL the badges on all ATs. The ones that need the most planning are probably the Master of badges, and you don't want to have to carry a team. Damage Taken and Damage Dealt are probably the most annoying since even at vet levels over 200, I still had to sit down and grind those out with an Alt account helping out. (The alt account just topped off healing) Heal badge seems to be easiest via Rebirth +HP.
  12. Praetorians got a makeover when they expanded the storyline. Clockwork got an overhaul for Neuron & Antimatter. Siege & Nightstar got tweaked. (Siege more so) You still see some of the old minions in some of the extra missions, most notable Praetor Duncun...
  13. I often see a horde of monkeys with either a Communication Office, Headman, sometimes Guardian at level 50. Especially with the opening Alpha mission

I'm not against there being a range limit on the credit so that someone sitting in portal corp isn't getting monkey credit for one example, but it should be within any ranged attack plus wiggle room. Say 500' in outdoors, but no limit in an instance? Though I'm also thinking, it's not harmful to get the badge credit. It's also not completely consistent since I've gotten some badge credit with some mobs. (For some reason, I think Sally might be one)
  16. Yea, there's no "zoning" to get into the Police Station, and you can Teleport Target people out of it for instance. If you need to do a bunch of PI missions, changing to Detective McLord is not a big deal. Might take a few tries because the RNG hates you, but it will happen eventually when it decides to mess with someone's hit chances.
  17. Just fill in their account name instead of yours when you open it. I dual box often enough on the same machine, so depending on who was first/second I fill in the other account name.

  20. I sometimes wind up upstairs if I log out in a hospital. probably the same mechanic is involved.
  21. Most of my blasters don't bother with Scorpion Shield because there's other stuff. Ranged defense is one of your best friends, even if you go into melee. Though I didn't both with hot feet or burn on my /fire, Storm Cell will give you a bit of help in more a soft fashion, though added with Bonfire, more floppage.
  22. It's another set of ATs I've tried to like, but haven't done as much with. With some of the redraw changes I think Soldiers get, I might have to try again. I always preferred Widows over Soldiers though. That's not to say they aren't strong ATs and make great teammates.
  23. Ok, here's another data point. [20:19] You start Sniper Blast. [20:19] You activated the Sniper Blast power. [20:19] HIT Infantry! Your Sniper Blast power had a 95.00% chance to hit, you rolled a 55.97. [20:19] You hit Infantry with your Apocalypse: Chance for Negative Energy Damage for 107.08 points of Negative Energy damage. The main damage did not take effect, but the proc from Apocalypse happened. Though with this, we got the HIT dialogue. So not sure if this is the exact same bug, but my theory is if the proc didn't happen, we would not have gotten the HIT and agro.
  24. Correct about the badge. To get them to merge, they need to be from the same group and one needs to be knocked down in health a bit though getting them both very wounded works best
  25. Maybe without ED & a Fucrum, or a bunch of reds. It was definitely less balanced back then. It was also boring as hell once you did it once or twice Plus the game had more bugs.
