  1. I think it's a reasonable request and doesn't have a balance issue attached.
  2. The link is going to the forum and does so automatically Silly unintended HTML tricks Imgur story on tech crunch
  3. On Splice's first mission: Retrieve the Resistance Message Carrier, I accidentally nuked the hostage with the Beta AOE which made the mission unable to complete. (Also killed the mobs in same attack, but since the Courier didn't get to say anything...) Restarted and noted when I did Titan Sweep, hit him again, but at least this time didn't kill him. He's non-clickable, so I don't know what his status was. This time cleared the hostage mobs and mission completed.
  4. Which Day jobs? First Ward Scavenger and Dark Astoria's Cold Hand seem to have this every so often. And while I haven't had it happen recently, Mortician has been wonky every so often with awarding time.
  5. My favorite golf area is Perez, though Hollows would probably be good. Full set of Force Feedback and KB boost from the empowerment station. 😄
  6. Maybe we're assuming the other is in different zones. I shut off at 7 for Nova, 14 for Imperial, and 18 for Neutropolis.
  7. Sounds similar to a problem I had with Lutris for launching homecoming. Wound up noting it worked fine called via the shell and wound up just using this wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Games/Homecoming/bin/win64/launcher.exe > ~/down/hclaunch.log 2> ~/down/hclaunch.err & Directing the output to a couple logs helps point out issues with menus on occasion, but optional
  8. Paragon has never had Stop, Drop, and Roll taught. Use it to your advantage.
  9. You didn't read the guide at all did you? The cutoffs have been found to be the ones to use to do all content for Gold side. Going past those levels will stop you from being able to do some contacts. If you want to do all of it, https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Apparition's_Complete_Guide_to_Praetoria shows you how without causing issues like killing a contact prematurely. having accidentally gone past the levels I mentioned has made me have to do the arcs via Ouro. Sticking to your statement is fine, but you're wrong.
  10. Archery Fun set, have a couple blasters and a sentinal Assault Rifle Just rolled a blaster up with it, we'll see how it goes Beam Rifle This is one that seems better on a sentinel Dark Blast Haven't played it enough Dual Pistols Fun set, seems lacking on damage, but the fun makes up for it Electrical Blast One of my go to blasting sets. The extra damage from drained end was a nice addition Energy Blast Not as much experience with it, but the one blaster with it leaned into the KB Fire Blast Probably my most used blast set. My first character was a fire/fire blaster and now I go between fire/fire fire/time and fire/MA Ice Blast I haven't done this one yet Psychic Blast Not the most exciting, but does have the advantage of huge range Radiation Blast My favorite sentinel has this, and it's a lot of fun Seismic Blast Another I leaned into the KB of meteor. I preferred on a blaster, since the only survivors were the bosses who could then be hunted down. Extra fun in perez park where a minion will need a spotter to find. Sonic Attack I did run a blaster and it wasn't bad, just not my style Storm Blast Still playing around with it. Seeing the potential with a corrupter and I do have a lowbie sentinel Water Blast Almost as fun as a fire blaster. At least my thoughts on current sets.
  11. Current exploration tips only go to zones that have a Base Portal. IIRC, the plan is to have them for all zones eventually, but it is a bit of work to write.
  12. I have a fire/fire/fire, fire/time/Scorpion, and fire/MA/fire blaster. All seem to be of the type of blowing the heck out of everything with bosses needing a little extra warming. Though they all have wound up with decent def numbers so that on the two with Phoenix, it's always available. And frankly, I'm tempted to do another version of the FFF with six slotting Phoenix for being a bit more insane in combat. "We're never more dangerous than when we're dead!"
  13. Note that the cuttoffs are at: 7, 14, 18, 28, 39 for Gold content. This guide works: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Apparition's_Complete_Guide_to_Praetoria
  14. With capped flight, 113 days without afterburner With afterburner, 97 days. but that would be able to just leave on, so now we have math Avg speed with 30 seconds of afterburner for 102.27 mph, and 60 seconds of 87.95 gives a speed of 92.71,mph So looks like 107 days to fly to the moon assuming average dist and a couple other things.
  15. I've done numerous times. Stalkers work pretty well since you'll be shutting off XP a lot. That allows you to stealth thru a bunch of stuff. And yes, Ambushes can be an issue, though only some of them will actually attack you while stealthed. There are a few where the ambush runs up to you and even follows, but won't attack unless you break stealth. I use https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Apparition's_Complete_Guide_to_Praetoria for guidance. So far, done Brute, Stalker, Tank, Scrapper, Sentinel, Blaster, and Corrupter
  16. I think so, I was on a team that rolled over a group and then noticed that they weren't standard mob bodies...
  17. Heh. I did this today while PLing a friend and noted I was taking a bit more damage than normal. After the big mob got taken out, oops. Rest of mission went much faster. 😄
  18. There's a info booth standing there nearly everyday at 7pm EST...
  19. I will sometimes shoot a tell to ask why we're doing it this way instead of "some other guy" method of doing a particular task. I miss the "Half the league go the wrong way!" instruction.
  20. Make sure you didn't buy the recipes for them. Non-zero times has someone mentioned AH purchases disappearing and found it in their recipe list on prompting
  21. Nothing really needed in game
  22. There's a known bug that if you have cell shading on, lockups can happen. Could this be the issue?
  23. You should be able to find it via the old email since it would be a different one. If you have the in-game handle a GM might be able to at least find the email you used, and then you could recover everything else from there.
  24. One thing I'd love to see is a way to just say I'd like to convert X to Y and it will cost Z number of converters. Z would be the expected chance of random conversions to be less than say 20% of not arriving at it. So, for a simple example, we'll have Celerity: Run Speed and you want Celerity: Stealth 50% Chance of getting the right one each roll. So, it would be a 12.5% of not getting on the third try which is less than 20%, so it would be a cost of 9 converters. Something with six different enhancements and you want a particular one would be 9 conversions, so 27 converters. That's just on converting to a particular enh within a set. The math gets more complicated with the rarity and type. I could see wanting to just have a goal first of wanting a particular set. (if you want to turn a random PvP enh to anything in Shield Wall for instance) Or even, take this uncommon and convert until it's an enh from a defense.
  25. Hard to say since some AT combos work pretty well at low level and are meh at higher levels, and the opposite. Also, hard in terms of speed, durability, etc...? Slotting goes a long way in making things easier. Even AT combos that wind up being Eng Hogs have ways around. Maybe a Dark/Ax Tank since you'll be always out of end, but recovery serum, Perf Shifter, etc... can get around that.
