  1. I'm not sure how long ago Mids broke for me, but the time when I got it working, I accidentally deleted my HC folder as well. Been plinking at it since it broke again, but honestly I'm at the point I'd rather just write a tool that looks at a build to translate to more readable by me. Then I'll play on one of the beta servers. And I run Linux, so it's even more glitchy.
  2. It takes time to get more developers up to speed and I think that is actually in the works. And I assume that they're putting in the work for the rest of it as well. And yea, there are features that people want NOW, but overall, the game is still evolving and not at a speed where it becomes unrecognizable. Testing is probably one of the failure points since trying to set up tests for a lot of items is difficult. Especially since there's a lot of interconnected items that don't get tested because of in testing, most people just test the obvious changes. How many people tested all the original Skull missions at various levels to be sure nothing got borked when they added the level changes? And that's still a fairly obvious test. And repeating these tests when something gets changed since if there is a code merge issue, you might go "See, this bug is fixed" while various other changes didn't get merged into the release on that because of reasons.
  3. For mine, they're sunk into the walls. Attached shows how they're displayed (I didn't label them in this base) and then from behind with the doorways put in and the floor removed to show from behind. Interdimensional Shards work best for me since they're the least intrusive. I also pad the number of beacons attached to ten as I'm putting them in so that when I'm adding more beacons they don't get added to the wrong shard.
  4. The PvP is the frenemies we made along the way
  5. The problem I see with AI coding is that it's replacing beginner coders, but still needs an experienced coder to go over it. Thereby removing the beginner coders from ever becoming experienced.
  6. For clicking to change alignment, get the requirements for the opposite sides accolades. There are a few of those (more than four that I know of)
  7. I do have a character named "Fairy Wears Boots" and while post-Ozzy, thought about a thug mastermind "The Mob Rules"
  8. I wouldn't want to get rid of white salvage, but if there was an option to turn it off at the START vendor ala Recipes and Inspirations, sure. I'd also then want to have the various recipes, etc... where one spends White Salvage to have an alternative cost such as 1k influence. That might be an issue for the devs to implement, but I'm not going to dive into that right now. Would I use this? No. If others wanted it, sure, but I'm fine with the current method. It's not a big deal to me.
  9. I would love more detail on char select screen. I suppose it depends on how DB intensive the call is to get the various info bits people would like. I'd love a daily pull of info that one could subscribe to.
  10. So, I used to do the Blue Stat Accolades and I follow Frozen Burn's philosophy of just clearing each of the maps Atlas Kings Row Boomtown Perez Park Bricks Skyway Echo: DA Steel Canyon Echo: Galaxy Talos Founders Terra Volta IP However, I tend to add a few other zones while I'm at it such as all the Echos, PI, Hollows, and Kallisti to also get the Bicentential, etc... Eventually I wind up getting most zones, all the explore badges and plagues anyway. Lately, I've added First Ward & Night Ward while getting Beyond Realities for Mark and Recall. And at some point, I decided that a couple of the Red Versions was easier. Definitely Invader, which can be done very quickly, but High Pain Threshold and Born in Battle are easy, plus a break from the Blue versions. I tend to just go and get all the Red Side Maps done, plus the PvP ones for completeness. Bloody Bay Port Oakes Cap Sharkhead Grandville Siren's Call Mercy St. Martial Nerva Warburg Now, any of this can be done faster by being surgical about it, but usually I'm doing this when I'm working on other stuff anyway. May as well include the screenshot of the reference
  11. I've kept a supply of Rez in email, Restoration or higher, bouncebacks get tossed at this point. I use a combiner to make reds usually when I have a full tray, but will do it often enough to always have some room. Only time I tend to organize is for Hami & The Labyrinth where EoE and Draughts take up a the last column.
  12. Usually once to zone, but I tend to be organized. And rarely /ah
  13. It also makes it faster going for the AH badges for selling
  14. And some of us do have some dev knowledge, or have been told by devs what complications may lie in wait of a suggestion. Sometimes it's just mentioning a past suggestion that had similar bones.
  15. I found that my first few 50s were grinds, but now the only thing I consider grinds are stuff that I feel needs to be on each character such as some accolades and even then, just parts of them.
  16. I had a mod to ATC's popmenu that put a number that matched the Vidiot number at one point, but due to a bad day, lost it all and haven't recreated it. I do want to redo that at some point in my "copious" spare time
  17. It's similar looking to a bug that the Orange level in the Labyrinth had. @Cobalt Arachne might have some insight.
  18. Nice labeling. Not how I do it, but it's a good way to do it.
  19. As someone who was a developer on another game (much smaller), the devs would take input from the players. Sometimes it would be some offhand comment about something else that would morph into a different feature. Sometimes it would just be the reinforcement of an idea that one already had, sometimes it would wind up as a modification. Creativity takes a lot of different inputs.
  20. I have a couple Warmace chars. It's a good set. On my brute with a shield, and my tank is a willpower. It plays a little different from Ax, but they're both fairly fun.
  21. Yes. You can also find one in Fort Trident & The Crucible.
  22. I'm constantly using them in challenging content, but there are team inspirations if you want to "applaud" I suppose.
  23. No actual Praetorian arcs, but you can get the badge easily enough by doing an Orou mission. Can't enter the gate, but you can make it. And yes, it's lame that Number 6 arc is off limits due to where it is.
