Sometimes I think I'm too cynical, and then I get a post like this to read.
 
	 
 
	Most people I find are just trying to do stuff they're used to and when forced out of it, react poorly.    Most tend toward good, but the exceptions seem to be louder.
 
	I deal with a lot of terrible people nearly daily, but I find focusing on the helpful,  compassionate people is better for my overall mental health.   Granted, it's difficult when I get yelled at by someone who has a different idea on some aspect of rescue where I will have to say, emotions seem to rule a lot.
 
	I also find having a calmer demeanor helps when working with animals, usually works with people too.
