  1. Looks like seven badges get awarded on creating a new character. VIP (always) & Cheers (this month) Then there are five AE badges that are global for your account if you got them with another char. (Customizer, Ticket Taker, Author, Recognized, and Early Bird) As Scarlet Shocker says, you can get a travel power from the START vendor, though the free one at level 2 should be enough. At least 9 badges per zone and you'll get the badges for how many badges you have and a few others, so maybe 8-10 zones if you just do explore badges.
  2. I've been on a trend of seeing how small I can get my bases. This is the result of getting everything in a 3x3 room while still feeling open. This is on Indomitable Server, and the code is Protector-10105

  4. Yea, everything should be level less. The Tree and Cairn are correct. The quartz is not.
  5. Yea, same thing happens if you exit the midnight club. They need to add an option such as the "Hide Cooperative Zone" Dialog.
  6. I'm down to 90 and pretty sure I'll be cutting a few more over this month. Not sure if I'll bother with too many chars doing the Anniversary Capsule badges. I might just wait until all ~16 mob types get badged. (so, in sixish years...) I only have one maxed badger and I think I only average 500 badges (mean, 527 median) Four chars with 1000+ badges.
  7. One other advantage to logging in all characters is allows me to do a quick checkup and reset the login timer.

  9. Definitely shows teaming is the way to go, 15 minutes per alt while solo took me almost an hour.
  10. Yea, should work better later when I can do so. The solo one took 110 capsules to get the Family and Skulls. That's my only badger, but I'll run others when I have some time. 83 capsules resulted in an Ambush for 243 mobs, though I did have a couple Freakshow rez. (so my count showed 245) Numbers: Need a much larger sample size to really show, but I think we can safely assume that the Skulls, Family, CoT, and Rikti do show up at 4x the rate which is what the devs reported.
  11. I'm checking to see how many capsules it takes as a solo to get the two new defeats. Even with the weighted to the badge spawns, it's taking a bit. Later today I'll check with a pair and a threesome.
  12. But we have to get these badges NOW! What if we change our minds about which characters need the badges? There's a wide range of compulsions that people deal with. If you think CoX has spaghetti code, brains are even worse.
  13. I'm quite capable of making horrific mistakes without drinking! That and 21 years later, I definitely drink a lot less... Thanks for bringing back the only MMO I ever really played.
  14. It's one reason I tend to retire my unused alts. Otherwise my CDO kicks in and I have to fill in badges that are available only for limited spans of time.
  15. Yep. I thought that may be the case. Body swaps can't be done within bases, but all tailors outside of bases can swap bodies. Someday they may upgrade the ones in base, but not yet. (Not sure if there's a technical reason though)
  16. I think we need to know which Facemaker you were talking to. Note that base tailors do not have body swapping, but should be accessible all other places.
  17. I think it matters on how much crafting one does. I'm pretty low volume I suspect in comparison. I might sell a dozen enhancements a week that I just know tend to go for decent amounts on the AH, but they're just ones that pop out of a conversion roulette. (and then I tend to use part of those proceeds to buy the cheaper alternative that I was actually going for)
  18. Screwing around on beta (and I wish I had kept details), that sounds right. I did a few tests with low level enhancements and wound up with that conclusion. On my list of tedious things to test and document. (along with a dozen other things...)
  19. I currently have 15 tankers, 12 Brutes, 11 Scrappers, and 3 Stalkers at 50. Mostly it's by concept. Some combos do seem to work better for the different ATs. And as mentioned, sometimes it's a personal preference.
  20. Glad I'm not the only one. I'll convert tons of stuff to avoid spending a few million on enhancements. I mean it kinda seems to be fine since I'm still building up influence while fully outfitting characters. Some of this is from retiring characters and selling off their basic IOs and such that cost more to craft at the time. I rarely buy rare salvage. I almost always have enough on hand somewhere.
  21. Energy Cloak and Infiltration don't add their stealth values, but you can run them at the same time and just get the larger value. Stealth with 55' works better though unless you want the movement bonuses. I do have some characters that have builds before the stealth change and they no longer make sense.
  22. I have a MA/Regen brute. I believe Spaghetti has done a Super Strength that with her driving is very very capable.

  24. You can run Earth's Embrace, Rooted, and Mud Pots. And yes, the travel powers from sorcery, force of will, and experimentation get grayed out if granite is on.
  25. I believe that the times it kicks people out of a mission is when you have to talk to the contact to advance the mission. If it's a mission that gets set immediately once everyone exists the mission, then you can't force it. (But yes, would be a nice enhancement if the team lead could do it whenever once they were out)
