The Watchtower - Paragon Corps SG Base Open to the Public
lemming replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Excelsior
It was just the curved banners on your ports, but figured out the hologram used for that pretty quick. Most of the rest is beyond my patience level. 😉 I love seeing what all is possible -
Yin is a good one. That's the one I used for most of my mirrored badges

The Watchtower - Paragon Corps SG Base Open to the Public

So, checked out the bases on Indom, Torch, and Excel. All of them have lots of wow factor. And a couple items I might see if I can recreate -

Ok, I think the description of the badge might be wrong. I believe the second Rikti progress is the Skull one. edit: Fixed in upcoming patch -

Opening Capsules and got skulls twice, no progress toward any badge, but the CoT are showing progress on the badge. Badges only for Circle, Rikti, Skulls, and Family this year. -
[OPEN BETA] Patch Notes for April 15th, 2025
lemming replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Patch Notes
Probably an exploration tip was in there. And the old school mobs are produced by opening an anniversary capsule. Very similar to winter mobs and presents. -
Seems to be. I downloaded it and it at least reads the logfile in static fashion. (Looks like it works fine ongoing as well)

Map Server - It's Over. Whatdidchalikebestest?
lemming replied to Troo's topic in General Discussion
It was a nice distraction at times and I boosted a couple characters and it was easy enough to avoid since I tended to be on more low pop servers. -
After nearly six years, I have a 40 characters pretty well outfitted. Some of them are a little outdated due to some power changes and need a respec to get full utility again. My first few mains hit 50, had generic IOs and then started getting sets installed. Mostly tankers and the like since I found blasters worked fairly well, but the more the 50s got played, the more influence, drops, etc... happened and I was able to afford more and more. I still have 50 alts that need to be outfitted efficiently, but it's more a time and research cost at this point. I find I procrastinate just enough to build up enough purple recipes and merits that I've been needing to sell off "junk" just to have enough space when the next character is ready for respec.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other insights. Been windows free for some time now.

Logs are in Games->Homecoming->Logs- Most relevant will be the launcher and live directories.

Respecs for Incarnate Abilities / Powers
lemming replied to Squid Vicious's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
On refunding incarnate salvage which I don't think would be breaking anything: So, no threads or Emp merits is easy enough. There a few different ways to go: 1) Refund just what that Tier costs; IE: Assault Radial T4 gives back: Nanotech, Meditation, and a Forbidden. 2) Refund the Tier, and for a T3, pick randomly what two T3s make it. This is really only complicated at the T4 level, since I doubt that info is kept of which T3 you had to make the T4. I think putting a cost for doing this is reasonable. We can either do the similar cost as a sidegrade: 2,6,30,150 to be comparable, though I think the Rare & VR are a bit overpriced. -
Respecs for Incarnate Abilities / Powers

I'd be cool with this method. It would let people back out of any mistakes and if they need different components, they can convert. The only issue might be with someone taking shards into an alpha and converting it that way to thread based components, but honestly I don't think that would cause much imbalance. It would probably cause a down tick in Super Inspirations since you could convert to threads, break down and buy inspirations, but it's a bit convoluted. -
Let's check in on the 50s. My DB/WP & Kat/Nin are the most played. Dual Blades Willpower My Badger, good at handling most anything Claws Energy Aura Claws is a favorite primary, EA is a very good defensive set Energy Melee Energy Aura Very strong hitting ST Broadsword Shield A cliche that works incredibly well, BS is a little slower than katana and doesn't hit quite hard enough to make up for it, but still good Psi Melee Regen Psi is great against everything but robots, regen is fast to recover, but it's in need of help Claws Willpower A decent combo, the EA version is a bit better Martial Ninjitsu I only started trying out Ninjitsu last year and it's been a good combo Battle Ax Super Reflex A very strong combo Street Justice Bio Honestly not my favorite, but does alright Katana Ninjitsu Another cliche that works very well. Titan Weapons Ninjitsu Honestly my first time getting a TW to 50 without regrets. It's a silly combo that does well, but I'm still not fond of TW

It's actually random within level ranges. This thread has the possibilities and I've found the popmenu useful.

Respecs for Incarnate Abilities / Powers

I wouldn't mind being able to turn in an incarnate ability, but just have it produce an amount of threads equal to using the breakdown method. Maybe 1/2 emp merits for the Rare & VR salvage. (So, 4 & 15) I mainly want to get rid of an accidentally clicked on T1... -
Yea, if stealth was a factor, a stalker zoning in wouldn't attract any. And I was the only one in the zone, still generated mobs.

If you go to Null the Gull, they can list the Praetorian AVs that you still need to beat. The Maria Jenkins arc does not have either Antimatter or Siege in it. Antimatter in the final mission of Tina's main arc and Siege is in a unconnected mission from Maria. You can also do Antimatter via the Keyes Trial, and Siege in the BAF.

Level 1 of blue and red can enter Recluse Victory and get the portal. And they can use the hatch in Pocket D if they don't want to enter via Atlas or Grandville. Gold can get the portal, but they can't enter it. (though I think the only was they can get it is to do an ouro mission via a base crystal, so level 14?)

Forum Moderation - give me suggestions and feedback
lemming replied to GM_GooglyMoogly's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I have always thought of it as a repeated item that has the tendency to drown out other input. Examples, lots of unsolicited emails, or a repeated phrase in chat. (Like someone forgetting that they have general selected and they keep hitting their f10 key....) -
"IF" the code is similar to the invasion code that is in the SCORE, difficulty has nothing to do with it. iirc, team size can modify level based enemies like for the halloween event. There are definitely some differences though. I do get the feeling that for the MS event, it's just number of characters that determine the spawn rate, but there may be a minimum level. I had a level 18 char in a MS zone and nothing appeared near them. (there could have been a timing issue)
-
Wonder if we could have certain spots in the various zones where the MS would be active, spots that are still fast to get to, but far enough from the usual pathing of people doing regular content? (Though I believe I saw a dev mention they were going to look into the lag issue) Two weeks is a good run for it. Gives enough time for people that might be busy to still check it out. If a badge is ever connected to it, then that would be a minimum time.

Most commonly used salvage for crafting? Help a hoarder out!
lemming replied to BassAckwards's topic in General Discussion
I have two common, two uncommon, and three rare for salvage. Pretty evenly distributed (five each of common & uncommon). Seems to work well enough since I tend to just make what's needed at the time. If I'm doing something market related, then I tend to do it where I can access the market -
I'm pretty happy with my MA/Regen Brute. Not the toughest, but bounces back very quickly and lots of fun.
