For basic IOs, They start outperforming SOs. A +3 SO will give 38.3% bonus. A +0 33%. Level 25 IO will give 32% Level 30 IO will give 34.8% Level 35 IO will give 36.7% Level 40 IO will give 38.6% Level 45 IO will give 40.5% Level 50 IO will give 42.4% Level 50+5 is 53% And they continue giving that. I tend to fit them in starting at level 25, and either replacing them with sets (unslotting for other chars to use) or replacing them at level 50.

Yep. That's my least favorite room of any. Cake room is at least a bit smaller, though really, I detest almost all kill alls that have mobs wandering.

Personally, I like the idea of being able to go to any contact and do their missions at their level. Doable without having to mess with a lot of mob files, though has it's own tricky bits.

For a necro, it's got stuff that isn't outdated and wasn't a thread that churned a lot. I missed it last year and not sad that it came back up.

Yep, they all sell for less than it takes to make them. The other advice is true, play your 50s, you'll make influence. I tend to slot lvl 35 IOs when available and slip in invention sets when I can.

Yea, it's due to some spawn not actually being in the bank. Though I usually only run into that problem if I have others on my team not in the bank. Might also be worth having a GM poke their head in to check if someone spawned in a wall or something.

One of the devs wanted to document all the missions that had hostages that could die before rescue flagged. Especially ones that left you in limbo. I looked around yesterday but couldn't find the thread.

I've only seen Group teleport used by some MMs. I agree, Mission Teleport is annoyingly slow. And I hate that you can fire up TT and then have the mission chosen, but if you switch on MT, it fails. I did screw around the other day and you can use TT to have different members of the team go to different missions. Seed of Hamidon has had a few more people going after it now that Mark and Recall needs that for the accolade. (10 merits would not be bad though)

Where I grew up, they were filming the second Dirty Harry Film and the community meeting house was used as one of the locations. I had a paper route and would sell my extra papers to the crew. In Santa Cruz, the comic book shop from The Lost Boys was the one I got my comics from. In Kanab Utah, the "Head em off at the pass" featured in many old westerns was on my commute. Along with the buildings from a Disney film I forget the name of. Right now in Portland, some Netflix show keeps taking up all the parking near my vet. 😄 I've also found out, I'm terrible at recognizing actors. I've had conversations with Michael Dorn, Linda Hunt, Lisa Edelstein, and a few others without knowing who they were.

I do this a lot. I'd have to do more research on the stealth suppresses auras. It seems to work fine with my blasters and stalkers, but my other melee chars use the Only Affect Self trick.

Hmm, that would be an interesting Auction option. The ability to mark something to automatically reduce in price based on time up for sale. Heck, you could do it with Price posted, and two variables, when to mark down, and either amount or percentage. Minimum price set at 10 and if up at 10 for X amount of time, automatically bought by the system. (And if either variable is set at zero, the item doesn't degrade) Maybe not 10, maybe where the amount taken by the auction percentage would equal the original posted costs. ie, if you post something for 1000, your cost to post is 50. So, if you have it set to degrade, the minimum would be 50. (How this is then worked with the sales percentage is debatable) And I'd allow the variables to be changed dynamically so once posted, you can modify that without having to repost it.

Not to say there shouldn't be a better listing of content, but adding another item that people are just as likely not to use isn't going to work. Currently, FInd Contact works fairly well for your level range. Assuming that any other unlocks have already been done. Hence why you may not get Doc Buzzsaw. I've done a few "Do EVERYTHING" characters and find contact works fairly well in addition to doing newspaper/radio missions. The Oro Crystal does list everything and shows what you've at least started. Though once again, if you haven't unlocked a contact, it won't list it. The LFG tab shows a lot of other content that you are eligible for. Including the SSAs. I think there's room for something, but right now I'm thinking of a flowchart rather than an item.

Oh good that someone suggested GIMP. It's a good program. It's the only editor I use (though I've used PS and a host of others over the years)

What are the odds I was trying out my Psi/Regen Scrapper and Rad/Regen Sentinel. My results were pretty much the same, though a respec on my scrapper did make a difference. Though mainly because it was one of my first chars, and there were some poor choices on live. 😉

Just to tag along on this. A lot of the early game is a little easier with more access to more temp powers, movement, and better enhancements. The big thing is just the grind of if you die having to hospital to Atlas, walk back to the hollows, then survive to the mission door again. A lot of that got easier pre-shutdown, but it was a hurdle early days.

I will note that I took my Elec/Time Controller thru a mission just to check out the new control bits and the noticeable difference was I blew thru it. I wasn't doing anything very difficult, but this is something that should be tested, not just read.
