Regeneration is not a power set available for Tankers. (Will it? Unknown) Brutes can do pretty well with Regen, and there are some good builds out there, but it's more work. Willpower does a good job for tanking most content, but it is weak in debuff protection. (Which incarnates can protect)

Having worked in animal rescue now for 20+ years, yea, nothing is guaranteed (well, safely). My computer room cat made it so every single cable I had in the room had to have a protective sheath or put away when not in use (many headphones later...). One of our current cats will chew on white cables, no other colors interest her. Favorite recovery was pulling a harddrive out of a laptop because the rest was destroyed by a pitbull using it as a chew toy. Also found out the company had even more frightening IT flaws. (I was tasked with it, because the IT guy was a total creep with women. When I was transferring the data to the new laptop, I noticed they had never cleared the previous user's data. Previous user being the CFO...)

I think the "new" servers are other servers sharing the HC map cluster, so actually fewer hardware locations.

Yea, my block was just to let people setup a quick check to see if their logged in char has the badges. You put in a lot more work.

I think most of the hidden areas have a death trigger. Though I did just exit the tram myself and went thru the usual randomizer stuff.

Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]
lemming replied to Final Overlord's topic in Open Beta Testing
Oh, And the mino following people into the green secret is a bug that will be addressed according to Cobalt. -
As far as I can tell, every item attachment in email is a single entity in a DB, so that's why even though a multiple is listed on granted items, you still can only pull one out at a time. There's a lot of odd database schemas in the game that make me think that the original setup was by someone who hadn't spent that much time doing such and by the time better methods were known, it was too much of a pain to reconstruct. (I've done this myself on old projects and had to redo a bunch of stuff once i knew better. Though sometimes it's a limit imposed by tech at the time of writing the code)

Here's a favorites block I put into my BadgeSetList.mnu in the meantime Note, I haven't gotten the settitle for Bound by NDA yet

Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]

Yea, got that figured this morning (with some guidance). Dodging Mino and drones made it a bit tricky. 😉 -
Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]

I found the entry spot at [-1806.0 -261.1 1118.5] . I think yours is the other side then? Anyway, good find since I can't get to it myself. -

And yes, the Slayer of the Minotaur is currently not awarding properly to everyone, but the fix on beta will award to everyone in the coliseum when the Minotaur is defeated. -
Patch Notes for July 23rd, 2024 - Issue 28, Page 1

Been using Mark and Recall a lot on beta while mapping stuff out (Beta Burnout is very useful) If you set a waypoint with M&R, going into any randomizer or special door will reset it if you don't recall right away. (Basically, if you start falling, you need to hit it immediately) There's a couple edge cases that will also cause issues for now. There's a couple tunnels where you'll appear in a different spot usually in a tunnel directly below where you set your recall spot. TLDR: Works fine if you go thru normal doors that have a permanent link to another, but if the game shifts you to a randomizer, it messes up the recall spot. -
Yep. Anything that already has Knockdown and adding a chance for Knockdown from a proc has a chance then of causing Knockback
-
Still adding more locations to my labhunt menu. Once I think of my redesign to make it a little more friendly and am about to add a lot of the normal doors. I'll keep posting updates upthread to the download

Ashling Corlett - Only Love Can Hurt Like This
lemming replied to Zhym's topic in General Discussion
I think the arc is actually 41-44, but I'd have to rerun it at this point to check. I don't have any lower than 50 currently. Trolls you beat up to find out what they know about arriving Crey, and yea, I had pointed out beating up 20 was a bit much. Zone hop wasn't terrible. Boomtown is right there, though it's then a pain to have to come back to Ashling to give her the drive. It's a definite incomplete arc IMO and rather linear. Good for a badge, some merits, and beating up Crey. -
Should be noted, there is often a group near the Orange side, and often with Eyeballs or Drones, so, not always safe
-
Friendly Gladiators are sometimes found. I'm not sure, but I think the warrior's leader, Odysseus has been sending them in. If you keep them alive for 15 minutes, they'll give you a draught. You can use MM controls with them too.

The Mino door is located in the Yellow Warehouse Map linked to the Orange Warehouse Map. If you are wearing a Mino costume as GP mentions, you can pass thru, otherwise you get a popup saying why you can't. (Different messages for each side) The purpose of the door is for the Minotaur to be able to get between Orange and the rest of the Labyrinth since Orange does not link directly to the other colors. To travel to Orange, you either need to go thru the Core, thru the Mino door, or randomly drop onto an orange floor. I'm blanking on which badge is needed to activate the ability to drop onto the Orange ones. (There was a bug where it wasn't checking earlier)
-
You can get thru the Mino door with just a one time investment of ten prismatics...

Plaques when you get to the core are at: [582.0 -115.0 2801.0] [465.0 -205.0 2715.0] [281.0 -101.0 2404.0] [403.0 -246.0 2747.0] [543.0 7.0 2853.0] [228.6 -80.9 2664.5]

I was there! You gave me the wrong answer! ;D You broke out of your crypt to get to the Game Show
-
Those are the best powers for dealing with mobs stuck in the walls etc, that you can't explicitly target. And Rezzers that can't be targetted right away
