Vague stuff warning: My main badger is a DB/WP scrapper. I use two of the combos, but not the other one since I skipped a couple powers. They do add to the overall punch, but I know a lot of people find a better way to pull more DPS. The change that HC added where you can miss, but still build toward the combo helps a lot. I can cycle thru both combos without stop without hasten with the build up attack inbetween.

I think it's anything with Absorb can cause issues since the DOT is very low and what Blarf does is debuff your HP cap, so any absorb potentially would protect you

Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]
lemming replied to Final Overlord's topic in Open Beta Testing
I'll guess the DE Spores Map would be Green. All the secret areas do give you a prompt (except the Hidden Colonade) -
This is just the start of a csv that I was working on. It's basically just popping into a portal from the lobby and following the doors by going thru the same one. Though I found at least one interupted loop. I think I need to rethink the method. I also need to relook into ATC's start on some of these. mappath.csv

Your Main Hero v Your Main Villain - Who’d win in a fight?
lemming replied to CaptTastic's topic in General Discussion
My main is really more a rogue in concept and based off a Champions character from the 80s. I suppose my main hero is my original char from live who is a fire blaster. And in concept, my rogue is a bit weak toward fire anyway... -
Yep. Last time I went for that badge, did Pilgrim, then finished up with Bloody Bay Now that the Labyrinth is released, quite a few of the huntable mobs are in there. And Ashling's arc is good for Paragon Protectors and other Crey targets

I don't have it's badge number, but the name Badge Mission_i27_Corlett works.

Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]
lemming replied to Final Overlord's topic in Open Beta Testing
That Violet Room is just the throne room that is in the Rescue Positron at the end of MJ's arc. Lots of interesting rooms like that -
Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]
lemming replied to Final Overlord's topic in Open Beta Testing
Ok, the Boat one annoys me, I looked up there, but apparently didn't look behind the fence bit.... grrrr That means we just need to find the Green and Orange secrets. I also know that each of those secrets is not far from a drop point of a randomizer. (Though, so far I have 27 of those located, i'm missing at least a couple) And to get out any of the hidden areas, there is an exit at the entrance. (Randomizer door) -
Only Love Can Hurt So Much (Feedback)

Again, just because someone uses Champions as their game system, their legal systems may be quite different. Steve Long did a good job in detailing a system for legal stuff, but there's enough differences that I don't think it works to use it as the reason. In game, we reveal that Countess Crey is an imposter and there's more weirdness all over the place depending on where arcs are done, etc... -
Can we post self-congratulatory milestone screenshots?
lemming replied to EmperorSteele's topic in Badges
Went thru my badge times: Two accolades and Nutrient Rich were within a minute. (I had been parked in Pocket D) Seven minutes and I had Slayer because luck in timing. Took an hour to get all except Phantom Gladiator. Due to distractions, another hour to hunt the 25. Screwed around more, so didn't get to NDA for a few hours, then did that arc in an hour Took two hours to do the 25 tip missions with a couple friends. So real time took five hours to get the 15 new ones. And that could be done quicker I think. -

Monster? Insane maybe. -
Good point, the seven combine into number 8. Seven to track down, to then combine into the Eighth which has all the buffs of the seven.

Yea, while I have a lot of the 5E books, I was playing champs from first edition. And while I think sixth edition is better, I also didn't get to play much. I got the impression that the Champs game that they played was pre-5th and not the CU. Anyway, we're way off topic. 😄 -
There are seven Motes to find. Red: Mote of Violence +DMG Clockwork Warehouse Yellow: Mote of Cowardice +ToHit Resistance Hub Room Blue: Mote of Despair +Recovery Arachnos Huge Room Green: Mote of Greed +Regen DFB Sewers Violet: Mote of Jealousy +Def Icy Purple Dome Orange: Mote of Fury +Resist Council Cave +Res White: Mote of Apathy +Recharge End of Endless Colonnade Visit each one, clicking isn't needed, but you get some flavour text Each gives a buff, once you collect all seven, you go to the Black Portal in the Core and turn them in. That gives you a costume, and the seven get consolidated into an Eighth. Once you have the consolidated one, anytime you come back to the Labyrinth, you just have to visit any mote to get the combo version. After that, you'll ge Here are screenshots of all of them

So, how long did that take yesterday? My own badger, started in the morning, and didn't actually finish until evening, but there were a few hours of just screwing around. I lucked out with joining a Mino fight on entry, and wound up with all the badges in the lab, about 2 hours later. Phantom Gladiator taking most of that time. Ashling Arc was done casual at ~2 hours, and the majority of the time spent was knocking out 25 tip missions. -
We should probably note that with Motes, the collection: 1) Once you pick up a Mote's buff by siphoning (just standing near it), it lasts for however long you are in the Labyrinth (including Lobby) 2) If you leave, all Mote buffs go away and need to be re-aquired. 3) If you get all seven, and go to the Black Portal in the Core, they get replaced by a single buff that combines them. 4) Once you get the combined version, revisiting the Labyrinth, you only need to visit any Mote to get the combined buff again.

Fifteen new badges to get to : 1628

For my badger, the damage taken was a bit of a slog and my second account helped by being an Empath Defender. I think for them, I did a couple different ways, one of which was the Mercy fire one, but that one seems to be iffy due to fires not always there. For any char, it's finding something that does damage at a lower rate than your regen. (whether that regen is native, or being boosted, or you are being healed) Easily controlled method is going into a mission with mobs that do the right amount of damage and then setting up before bedtime.

This is still a work in progress, but has the waypoints for a bunch of different stuff. Underpopulated items are the Guardian & Fogs. File goes into: Games/data/texts/English/menus I use a macro "/macro lab popmenu LabHunt" Most useful are probably the Mote locations, Plaques in the core, and the Maze waypoints though the colonnade. I should note, most of the time the waypoint for the Orange Mote wants you to go thru the Cow Door. You'll need to wear a Holo Mino to get thru. And easier if you have access to the Orange floors. labhunt_2024080901.mnu

Patch Notes for July 23rd, 2024 - Issue 28, Page 1
lemming replied to The Curator's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
There is an exitl in the lobby gets you back to the Midnight Club. While in the Labyrinth, the power "Escape from the Fog" gets you back to the lobby. (Or if you fall, hospital puts you back in the lobby) -

In the CU, that changed every so often, and I got the impression that the Champions game referenced was a homegrown world anyway. Most campaigns I know didn't really delve into court room thought process and papered over it. The last mission may be better as just a cut scene or something. And the NDA thing, most NDAs that are about illegal things, aren't enforceable. Superhero law is an odd creature. The arc does supply a decent number of Crey related defeat badges though. -
I think there were a couple that didn't in the league I was in. (At least one other that wasn't you) I'm guessing team/league shennagins?
