  1. I think this is fairly common. I do the same and know of a few others. We sometimes aren't even on the same missions, etc... and just chatting about non-CoX stuff.
  2. I only strip characters if they are being retired and that generally only happens with chars I don't think I'll play anymore. I think I had a high of around 200 characters, and now I'm at 88. Goal of around 50, but now what I tend to do is when I add an alt, I tend to retire 2-3. Retiring, I completely strip the char and delete. Enhancements, I used to keep them all, but with fewer chars, less need, so been selling. And with inf piling up, keeping generic IOs around is less needed as well. Most of the alts being retired are ones I got to 50, they are minimally equipped with basic stuff, so almost everything just gets sold at this point. Actual steps: Check that I have costume saved. (I have restarted a couple retired, usually slightly different AT or powers) Convert Emps & Reward merits into Tran & Hero merits. Left overs, depends. Sometimes I buy a bunch of converters, sometimes I'll do something to get to an even 50. (moreso with Emp) Convert all incarnate stuff into super insp. Sell them at whatever. Salvage and Recipes, if useful to other chars, transfer, if not, sold. (vendor or AH) Transfer it all to an alt. Delete. Realize I forgot to send the inf over, or that they were lead of a SG. 😄 (Only happened once, but ow)
  3. Fogs now at 104, Gladiators at 106. So, slightly over 1/2 locations found.
  4. I think the "Can I haz your stuff" type posts are tongue in cheek for the most part. It's almost required to be said when someone says they are leaving. I mentioned in another thread (that for a sec, thought was this one) about some of the testing stuff. The closed beta people don't have a monolithic outlook and it's a bummer we lost a couple people since IMO, more testing always needed.
  5. $zone should just return what whereami uses for it's zone return So in Atlas: Server: Excelsior Zone/Mission: Atlas Park Position: [386.5 32.8 -883.5] In a base: Server: Excelsior Zone/Mission: base_loading_screen Position: [371.2 4.0 126.5] Hmm, I'd have to check what it returns for a 2nd instance
  6. One of my own cats used a toilet. Didn't flush though... And the shelter cats don't have access to the main bathroom, so litter boxes for them. (And ironically, I use a composting toilet in my home now, but it's peat moss, not litter)
  7. My objection was that the changes were mostly lateral to me (but were punishing for some) and it still would have meant respecing 1/2 my characters. I had cut down my number of alts a year or so ago because the changes were getting to me since it meant I was respecing a bit much. (just the travel power changes which I mostly liked, still caused stress and I still have chars that need attention from then) A lot of the changes seemed to be just hitting pulse on the cusinart. Yea, if a "cool" mechanic is put in, do it to a new set.
  8. You could go sentinel. Range is a little reduced, but not much and hover blasting is pretty good. Combine with something like WP, and it's fairly relaxing and protected.
  9. Very recently since I got it on one of my latest alts. You were in the mission the whole time, and you were the mission owner?
  10. I just moved 4,000 lbs of cat litter, setup a generator, and few other things since 6am this morning. I was reiterating that binds are very helpful succinctly.
  11. Require? No. It's pretty damn useful though.
  12. I tend to get Hover, Flight, and Evasive Maneuvers. It's a pity the def doesn't work in combat at all. Group fly on a couple MMs. I don't think any of my chars took Air Superiority.
  13. Back when Invulnerability didn't let you move if you turned on Unyielding (?), teleport was the only way to move. And you would instantly start falling. Other users would fall after a brief pause and this was lengthened considerably by HC recently. You can still cause yourself to fall by hitting a power or movement key to land quickly. Teleport and Fly are my main travel powers now, with Superleap often enough. Teleport is the fastest, but takes more attention and you can overshoot. It's also great for stealthing. Great for just popping past drones & other high perception mobs. (And sometimes into one that hadn't rendered for you. 😄 )
  14. I think that's required for a Roger Corman film.
  15. If you're that close to be bothered by their powers, they are close enough to be hit by group fly.
  16. Enable the diag client in the launcher. (open settings and there should be a diag option for a separate client line) Check your network, CoX is a bit sensitive to non-great connections. I used to crash often while zoning, turned out my router was dying. Hmm, though if it's causing your PC to crash, that might be more serious. Run a memory and hard drive check
  17. @Voltor check the KH TF and Mark & Recall work for those missions. He's checked a lot of the hostage scenarios.
  18. I suspect the person who posted them checked all the costumes out on the beta server and took screenshots.
  19. Doing a quick look at the t4 versions. 2m recharge and the main buff is for 22.5 or 30 seconds. Rest goes for longer. Looks like protection from hold on the left side would be great (30) for 30 seconds and after that at 9 for another 30 seconds, then down to 3 for that last minute. Right side is similar, but no protection for the last 30 seconds.
  20. I think either of these could work. It would be nice to do something that would nip these threads existence. 😄
  21. Well, a TF lead could make it so "No Travel Powers" is checked off. It's a bit of a nuke instead of a scalpel to dump GF...
  22. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if I've seen Team Teleport (from the TP pool) out in the wild. I think I screwed around with it once and decided Nope. I tend to use Null to set Mystic Fortune to always accept, hardly ever turn off any of the other stuff, though I really should for my chars that have ground powers. One thing I note from the first post, you may not have been running GF until that outdoors mission, so maybe the team didn't see it before then? There's always the chance, the lead and some of the team were on discord or such. I know I've discussed a team member that way, granted I rarely boot and can't remember the last time I did.
  23. The Mino has to be defeated before access to the Orange Secret is enabled. [-4280.3 -475.5 2287.0] There does seem to be some bugged behaviour from what I saw in the forum threads.
  24. This was my issue once on a char. Though with me I was Super Jumping over to another area and got caught in the GF field. The muscle memory bit is a good point.
  25. Not sure why I said it like that. ATC described the behaviour correctly.
