To be fair, that's not far off of what live was. (Well, there it was per server) I don't think comparing what we get at HC to be that fair, though I'm not interested in trying out Ship at this point.

I suspect if you don't want him to spawn, you can put the legacy items into your vault as well. I did note legacy salvage selling for ~14k last night. 19k current.

No badges. It's a one day event and they didn't want to cause any badge completionists to have aneurysms. (or something like that)

But it is broke due to some security holes with it. It's limping along and it's a low risk, but that's why it got replaced. And the launcher is better than tequila at least for HC.

There's a few invention salvage that a pirate would be after such as Gold, Sapphires, Rubies, and Diamonds. (possibly others?) The Legacy salvage, if you have one of each of Ectoplasm, Coins, Ring, and Ghost Trinket, then open one of the "cursed" chests, Captain Bladehook arrives (and takes one of each of that salvage)

You can still use the demorecord file if you know what to look for. I did find the original web version, but it wasn't as accurate

I think that the devs aren't keen on account wide badges of any sort. (though that could change or is inaccurate) Sometimes, people don't want certain accolades, etc... and this would impact that. (I'm not one, but there are some players that are) I wouldn't mind a different method of getting some badges since many can be tedious. There is some content that people don't like playing, but it's different for a lot of people. I happen to like the Numina TF, it's not really long and the hunt is easy enough if people know how to deal. Quarterfield doesn't bug me either. Synapse, I happen to avoid. So I do Invader instead, but over time will do most of the other TFs that would be TFC. Two redside accolades are easy and two of the blue are in terms of speed and being able to do via having alts in place. The big complaint seems to be; "But people won't know anything if they don't do the tedium!" I think after the first couple times, there should be a less tedious way for other chars. The trick is figuring out how to do that. Get a token by handing out somewhere? Get a token by doing the tedium that is account bound, so you can pass that to another char? Universal token that can be used by other accolades, or just the one? (probably universal, because otherwise a token for each?) Anyway, more of a thought experiment since getting the balance on this would be difficult with how different people view stuff like this.

To be fair, they asked people to stop using Tequila in January of 2024 and the launcher was up and running for quite some time before that.

Do you have cell shading on?

It works well for situations as described, but it's also a decent taunt tool of getting extra groups together. And very useful in the Font of the Labyrinth. That said, it's not a priority power pick.

Yea, but what this would allow is for those that have small amounts of time, and probably already have interacted with the game enough. Knowing enough to log in the right area is good enough imo. It's also why just buying the purchase isn't my preference.

I don't think this would have an effect either way. The interact with the game is a good point, but it's why I suggested a different tedium that allowed the accolade to be earned offline. You'd still have to know something and would just be bypassing some content that has been done multiple times. Perhaps it will get people to do other stuff than the "required" steps to get the accolades. (Probably not, but we can dream...)

With bases, iirc, people seem to have issues in more complicated bases. I've never had a problem, but my bases are utilitarian with not a lot of details. Busy zones seem to be another issue which is why Atlas and the like are to be avoided during respecs.

Everlasting is busy, but not too busy and has a good group of people leading trials and other stuff. (So does Excel) The other servers are lower population, but have some other benefits. Indom has a nightly GM hunt for instance.

I checked this via a char that didn't have any tailor tickets by logging out behind the counter in Echo Plaza's tailor. Four days later, I have 10 tickets. There are a couple dead zones in the tailor shops. iirc, if you are up against the back wall, you don't get tailor dayjob progress. Could you be doing that?

Do a check for updates from the launcher and/or verify. I did notice my Diag needed an update, but once done, logged in.

Level shifts don't have that effect.

There is definitely a tailor in Ouro. Added recently. (Not sure if a merit vendor exists, but I think so) Disregard, if you were being sarcastic

I think for some of this, I'd rather have a "Day Job" where if you log off in one spot, you get one of the accolades after an amount of time. (100 hours to be consistent) It would just be the accolade. (Maybe you'd earn an accolade token you could trade for any of a list. I'm thinking any of the ones that grant a power like the four stat ones, between realities, etc... Not accolades such as for exploring a zone, etc... And for those with the auto grant if switching sides, it would just grant both then) Still takes something to do, but for those with less time to do the repeated tasks, it would allow them to get it. And it would still be faster to just do it one of the other ways.

I think they just don't remember the code to give it to someone else since they mention placing the Loremaster, so they have edit privilege. You can also enter bases that are in your coalition. (And trainers, etc... are all accessible then. Well, by my experience...)
