The arc is interesting, but based on feedback, it is an example of something that may be obvious to the designer, but not to the players. A friend of mine described making puzzles for players in game mastering. Try not to make anything more complicated than a Scooby Do mystery. A generalization, but I find it worked well for convention games. I would have never thought of Number 6 either and since I ran the mission arc via Ouro, I had to visit everyone in person which without the guide, wouldn't have been feasible for me to remember.

Some of the missions that I dislike the most are the ones that have you standing around waiting for multiple ambushes. I think that's the only criticism I had of the arc overall. Brought all three assets back with me via Mark & Recall, went up the hall and fought all the ambushes. Found out going back to the lab seemed to spawn the ambushes earlier, but I'm not sure. Turrets only defeated a Stealth Tank that had stood up and followed me back. Dreck was beaten by at the entrance to the next room. So, as mentioned, the PCs need to beat Dreck and not let any of the lab defenses kill him. Probably a percentage of damage, but those turrets spam a lot of damage. 😉 Bonus mission, took me a bit to find the people to talk to and after I talked with Pierce, the portal wasn't obvious because the view to it was blocked. I'd suggest moving it out a bit more instead of all the way in the back of the container.

You know what gets most annoying on the forums? People arguing about how to argue. On topic stuff: Heck, I get annoyed at myself when I have an autoattack while I'm not in mission. And sometimes the crowd around the portal gets in the way. Once gave a VR to someone when I was trying to give to an alt. (Just once, and now I am way more careful) However, it's usually not a big deal and there are a bunch of other AEs if it does. Some get hardly any traffic.

It may have been because of the server shenanigans to enable 2XP?

The new arcs are alignment specific for the most part.

While I would welcome the City Tracker to give you Epidemiologist, keep Dreamwalker progress. Should be able to do both. There are a few other things to track that would be nice

Bit of an Osha Violation in the Office to Rikti Sewer map. Found during "Recover Melanie from the Sewers" Server: Everlasting Zone/Mission: OFC_TO_SEWER_TO_RIKTI Position: [325.0 87.2 149.6]

I mean they have done some. Moved AE out of Atlas & Mercy, Emp Merits not being convertable to Reward, No XP rewarding double Inf, for some. For power changes though, I think they haven't made many changes based off farming. Some of them have impacted farming such as the -Def from some fire attacks. What I'm saying, I don't think the Devs target farming deliberately, but if something they want to change impacts farming, they're not as concerned. At least that's how it feels to me.

You should read the other HC thread posted above. You're giving the same arguments as the other poster.

Nah, that's too easy. Turn everyone into a troll.

Cut the filler from the Synapse TF (spoilers)
lemming replied to Psi-bolt's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This is a topic that has been discussed before, though I think most people dislike the multiple kill all missions that are the same mission as the one before. Synapse is the main reason some people grab the Invader badge for the accolade. Dr Q often gets mentioned, but the nice thing with Dr Q is that a level 50 can blow thru it, while Synapse you are more limited in scope. There a couple things I'd want to change to Dr Q, but Synapse is more a rewrite version like Posi. (And Synapse is needed if you want to get TFC without turning red for Invader) -
One thought, I'd love to be able to say "Collect XP until this level, then stop" It would make management of no XP easier.

Feedback on the Visuals for Psi Armour and Pyro Control.
lemming replied to Razor Cure's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I did notice something last night when I ran my Psi Armor around past some other Psi Armor I got some odd lag with a really disorienting effect. I'll have to check it more thoroughly, but it gave me symptoms like a pre-migraine. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this. Default power effects and I think the two others I was close to were the same. -
That isn't what stops them from afking out. Being in a TF/AE/Ouro team is what prevents logging. I think they were probably in a timed farm and when it exits, they pop out and perform that behavior until the person pays attention again. oh, and there is no revenue.

Special times, though some more warning before hand would have been nice.

I had an odd case as well, Shadow was supposed to come with me, but I had someone else.

Right Click on one the tray's numbers. Sounds like you have "Lock Tray Numbers" enabled.

Wish List Issue 28, Page 3 (What could have been in Issue 28, Page 2)
lemming replied to Troo's topic in General Discussion
I can think of a lot of reasons, but it probably is the simple explanation is that the devs would do it aren't entirely sure how to make it good other than just slapping some bonus numbers on it. Just a guess is they want to make it more interesting than that and are probably debating how. -
It's that way for Overwhelming Force as well and it shares the same schema.

Hmm, some flag with Power changed might be good. I do what arcane suggests and have a field with Respecs. Though some are because of a power pool, some with a modification with a Primary or Secondary. It's also degree of change. When the stealth changes happened, some of my chars need a tweak, but it hasn't been a priority. Many don't "need" it, but it would help. Not sure what info would be needed to say "This char needs a respec"

Yep. The fix is on open beta and will probably be pushed live on the Tuesday update

And with the cones, one of your complaints is that it you don't have to have a target to fire it off. Check all the PBAOEs. (the number of times I've done a Dragon's tail because I double clicked it earlier...)
