I like Regen myself a bit more than WP after it's latest buff, but WP is a good set. As you said, it's not as good vs sappers, but you don't get terrorized. Each set has strengths and weaknesses.

I do the AH thing during Hami. I actually tend to sell my large inspirations there that drop, combine the others into reds, and any EOE over a few get tossed into the auction. However, I learned awhile ago to click on something else to avoid the typing issue.

I used to work in OCR and thru several other things where font recognition was needed and wound up with quite the selection of fonts on my computers. Though some of that was in the age of dot matrix, so now it's just seeing what font looks good for character sheets and the like.

See if you can get someone else to run the mission and be teamed with them. I find the best place for Lost is North Perez, especially since the Steel Canyon exit is right there for going to the MC.

My level 50 Regen/SS tank is pretty tough and I didn't even take all the advantages a Spaghetti Build would have. I find if I'm fighting anything at +1 and below, with most mobs, I don't have any problems just sitting there. At +4, I have to keep an eye on things, but if I cycle thru various clicks, I have zero problems. Tanked Lord Recluse the other day and the only danger there was the endurance drain. (which I got tips to avoid later)

I'm not sure how this would work, but I can see the appeal. If data was taken, one could then see which missions were done. (Pretty sure that's not a trivial bit) There are some throw away missions that are somewhat amusing.

Turtledove replaying WW2 in various ways comes to mind. I'm forgetting who it was, but some series I read, and it wasn't plot, but some description of a fight and it was nearly an exact quote of some other fight. Sorta similar vibes. And as to the thread: There's more than one way to play CoH, and that is one of it's strengths. The worst players IMO are the ones that insist there's only one way.

The font used on the character select screen is a bit different. I think the name of the font is Red Circle. As you can see, the capital N is different from lower case, but the capital does have characteristics of other capital Ns with other fonts.

Aw man, we're getting remakes of old threads. It's like when an author puts out a new book and you find out they reused the plot of one of their older books.

I guess it depends on definitions, though for after the war was officially declared, Poland, then Denmark and Norway, and Holland, Belguim, then France. Czechoslovakia, Ethiopia, Spain, China, a lot of other smaller places were picked off before. Most of the jokes about french, polish, italian are pretty much based on crap and without account of how much other factors went into it.

Oddly enough, I use that combo for my other teleports. I think for mystic, the middle just worked better for me.

For my chars with mystic flight, I bound the middle mouse button MBUTTON "powexeclocation camera:max translocation" Makes it much easier to use. And I use it much the same way as srmalloy and I'm one of those wierdos that hardly uses or even chooses Rune of Protection.

I'd be curious if you can do Mr Bocor or Angelo Vendeti since they're starting at level 5. Bocor to 9, and Angelo to 10

You'll have access to all your powers thru level 6. Set bonuses and the like may not be up, etc... Either way works just as well since you can pick up the extra attack powers from the START vendor when doing the tutorial, and you probably have them if you're doing the Ouro intro. The mission is slightly different, but it doesn't take much time either way to knock out 100 of them.

That's pretty typical behaviour for doors. Regular doors near "special" doors will act like the door to the other. There's a door behind the hospital in Atlas that does that (plus quite a few other spots, but that's the one I remember)

Odd. I mean, it is cancelable, but hard to do on accident I wager. Just went thru a full font and was timing each one, all were 15 min. (well, five all together)

I kinda forget how I finally got that to stop, but I think I wound up redoing my arcs and making sure I was using the same char as the file version since the characters are in files, but also in the mission files themselves.

I've occasionally used the Vanessa group to beat up the other carnies since Vanessa and group are friendly, and the others are not. I don't remember if Vanessa took part or not, and it's been a few years since I did that.

Oh yea, it's in the first mission of LRSF. I don't think we know exactly where it is, probably between Paragon & Rogue Isles though the layout is very much in type of the RI ones.

I tend to use Unbreakable Guard (2 slots) often for the end discount, other sets that give end reduction bonuses, and the various procs.

Probably. I picked up a similar Acemagic laptop, though I then installed linux on it and will note, it's 16GB ram. It runs CoX fine, though at a lower performance than my desktop. I consider it great for checking in or while travelling, but not for regular gameplay.

I think the cutscene is from one of the Rikti Warzone arcs, but that's a different area. Actually pretty close to where Dark Watcher is hanging out iirc. Which predates the Flat Nemesis area by quite a bit.
