Not added by Homecoming, but iirc, the Council base was added issue 24, so only shown on beta before shutdown. So technically, it did happen post-live, but I think any server running off the SCORE code will have those changes. Some story arcs, construction areas in various zones. I played quite a bit on the beta server just before shutdown, so my memory gets confused easily with some of the live/beta/HC stuff. Really wish we had a easy navigable way of looking thru patch notes for certain changes.

Thanks to the team for all the work on a Saturday night.

I had a stalker with it. I hadn't really played it much, but the stun worked well enough with minimal slotting and none of the Stalker effects like that take place while you are Hidden

On the OT flirting, if it's a RP, and both are ok, then sure. I haven't run into this on HC at all. Back on legacy, I had this exchange toward a char: "You're sexy, I like tall women" "Hey! Me too!" Which killed that interaction. I have more female characters than male and huge, though in real life, I would identify more as huge.

Yea, the way the buy is structured, it's just a leveraged way to dump debts into a pool to walk away from. Granted, I haven't been a fan of EA for personal reasons (just their treatment of employees, some of whom are friends)

Sentinel, it's about the same. Scrapper, it's better Brute, it's better Tanker, it's new and great. (I don't have experience with Stalker Regen) My builds don't tend to be the most efficient, but overall I find Regen got a nice boost. My standard tactic of using various crowd control (which tends toward KD for most of them), or as with my Sentinel, getting a bit of space for a bit works wonders. I find tactics works best for me rather than optimal power chains hence why I haven't bothered with RoP, but I can see where it would work well.

230 is my usual with often 300+ and I'm not even running a Spaghetti build.

Are you sure you didn't have a second account? Other than BigGotter's theory: Try checking playerslot.txt and possibly moving it for now. Should be in Games->Homecoming->accounts-><ACCOUNT>->playerslot.txt

I haven't seen much lag on my end, but for the heck of it, I did a little network analysis and am seeing a large drop of packets from be-2411-pe11.seattle.wa.ibone.comcast.net which seems to be in the path to the servers. It's been a long time since I did any real work with this, so not positive this is showing anything useful. It might just be tossing packets it doesn't think are useful, such as ones from a diag tool...

I've done that a few times now. I have a Energy/Psi Stalker that I'm thinking of restarting, but it's more of a project I've lost interest in. I have a couple 50s that I'm thinking about replacing with different versions. My main badger might actually get retired, though in their case, just put to the side.

No. It gives 35' of stealth like it always has. It just doesn't stack with most other forms of stealth, but will stack with Celerity.

Not a great way to prevent the message popup, I seem to remember that then gets rid of useful popups as well. What you can do is "/dialog_answer OK" and even bind that to a key with /bind KEY dialog_answer OK dialog_yes might suite you better. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Dialog_answer_(Slash_Command)

Yes, it can also be influenced on where you are. Certain Dayjob locations, etc...

I don't do a heck of a lot of marketing, but I occasionally buy some enhancements and sell the odd higher value enh. That has shown me that the prices have been steadily going down practically with everything though for anything useful 2-3m is still where most enhancements seem to be. I tend to sell extra large inspirations, and when I decommission a character, I tend to sell a bunch of supers. Those have all fallen in value as well. While the population hasn't really changed a lot, we have a higher percentage of people that know what they're doing, more that already have their chars outfitted, and generating stuff they don't need. At least that's my take on it.

I slotted mine with a full Cupid set (on my tank) and it's pretty effective. On the Praetoria bit, I run a char thru there every so often, latest was a Energy Melee/Psi Stalker. Apparation's Guide on the wiki is nice if you want to do all the arcs, though I usually pick and choose the arcs I want to do nowadays and skip the ones I don't particularly care for.

Well, hopefully not about the review bombing. (Not sure what the point would be?) Of course, there may be HC folk who are trying it out, and then going ick which would be fair.

The level shift from Incarnates: The +1 from Alpha will show in any content level 45+ (So if you exemplar down, you still get the +1, making yourself effectively 46) The shifts from Lore & Destiny only show on incarnate content, and only in a few zones. Ouroborus, DA, Echo Plaza. There you'll show +3, other places +1.

Upgrade Maria Jenkins to always include Siege and add Antimatter

Self reported by using the City Badge Tracker in Pocket D, but only those that click on there. I use it to check on a couple badge progressions, but it does show ranking of the first 100 that have clicked on it since last server reset. Or you could just go with the short answer: Voltor, he's got the most chars with all the badges. -
On the off topic: I definitely used it, but understood it would go away when they got around to it. I was surprised they replaced it with a very equitable replacement scheme and don't miss the exploited version. Lunar is correct, if a quick version is available, a lot of people will mainly just do the quick version and will pick and choose the ones they don't mind. I'd love to have Synapse & Citadel trimmed of their redundant missions. (And for Citadel to stop the ping pong between Talos & IP) For now, the quick version of the core TFs is just grabbing the Invader badge.

Costumes are saved off the main game folder Homecoming->costumes; not sure where Lafoote's second folder would be. To figure it out, I think file paths are needed.

Obviously replaced by Nemesis bots and they forgot to program swimming.

How did you first start playing CoH? What do you love the most?
lemming replied to Xalon's topic in General Discussion
Not sure if I heard about it solely from friends, but some were in beta and I wound up joining as well. Played Champions Tabletop for years and was a tester on their first try at a PC game (Only Heromaker came of that), so a superhero game was welcome. Customization, etc... was what got me to stay. I couldn't build my old RPG chars exactly, but the spirit was there. Played thru sunset, though I did take breaks here and there, once while concentrating on developing a different game. One of my breaks was just before sunset. (I think I came back, bought a sub for a bit and then sunset got announced.) Knew about the secret server fairly early via a friend's son, but didn't bother looking into it. RL was a bit busy. When HC got announced and I noticed how much easier it was to get it to play with WINE, welp, here I am.
