I'm finding that sometimes I mutlbox where I'm running a test on beta, a farmer is tooling away (and often ignored), and the third is actively teaming.
-
For the tips which I find to be the biggest grind, Odorous Smoke Hero version is a quick mission since all you do is beat up a boss group. Use the mission computer to choose it. @Voltor is the one that suggested it. (he might have a more comprehensive post about it) Or have a two-three people team and do them in Steel. (Gets around the phased stuff in Atlas, and Steel is actually just a bit longer, but not as wide) For Lawbreaker, Night Ward; Shows Over in First Ward. You can do the defeats while you grab plaques and exploration badges.
-
If you look for Badge, you can find the Alignment specific ones. (So four of them) Then you got the ones for Testing, and those for regular runs, and for tickets. And for doing a test with 8 players on a team. You could do "Clockwork Orange" that I have, which gets a few categories such as rescue, defeat, destruction of an object, and clicking an object. Or make one for yourself that lets you just do them all with minimum effort. (Need to make one yourself anyway...)

Forum Moderation - give me suggestions and feedback

Context. Some people do bend over backwards to be insulted and then there's a back and forth feedback wave usually, but that's not what I'm talking about. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't base an insult on certain words, but the actual content and sometimes there is a pattern. (On the thumbs down stuff, there was someone who would go around and hit every random post of a poster with a thumbsdown which is what prompted that iirc.) -
Shouldn't need to. The FPS counter is just in a different spot for me and my laptop running Mint shows it fine.
-
I run hclauncher via a shell script that calls wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Games/Homecoming/bin/win64/launcher.exe > ~/down/hclaunch.log 2> ~/down/hclaunch.err & allows me to check the log file if there are errors in any popmenus showfps just brings up a little FPS counter (for me in the upper right) If you use the 3 argument, it brings up a huge Camera Position

I'll have to disagree. One can be very insulting without using any inflammatory words. -
That's a very nice base. Couple rough spots like a floating pipe in the garage, but way beyond my skill level. 😄 I really like what you did.

Neckbeards is always an insult. iirc, the one mentioned, the context wasn't flattering either. I tend to ignore stuff like that, but I do tend to think less of the people using insults. There have been a string of broad generalizations from some people. -
The sents I've enjoyed the most: Radiation Blast/Regen: Not the sturdiest, but never stays down long. Storm Blast/Dark : Just drifts around the combats melting stuff, very much for the concept, but works Electric/EA: Probably the most effective in steamrolling content. Ignores most attacks and drains everything of endurance if they don't die quickly enough

event Slot Machine's Random Challenge (2025 Edition)
lemming replied to Troo's topic in General Discussion
Made a perl script based on Troo's work, but I need to account for the combos not allowed like Katana with Shields. Before accounting for that, we're at 2457 different combos. That should subtract 28 combos if I'm doing that correct across the melee sets. So, 2429 different combos. # Need to add exclusion of Shield not allowing Claws, Dual Blades, Katana, Spines, Staff Fighting, Titan Weapons # Exclusion Stone Armor with Claws -
Great use of salvage, Empowerment stations

"Victory Badges" is the global that's setup

iirc, there was an idea of porting to a console, but that got shelved. (Way back in the early part of the game) There are some programmable controllers out there, that might work.

As someone who used to do this elsewhere, it's ab impossible thing to get everyone happy. Especially when we just see part of the picture. I haven't had any issue with your moderation. There was some in the past I did wonder about since it looked a little uneven, but haven't been aware of any. (I checked out of the thread PF mentions, so no idea from me) -
There's a post about plans with KW somewhere from the devs, so there is something going on behind the scenes. Missions already have different layouts a lot of the time, but not tied at all to your character, it's just random among types. There are some where there's only a choice of one. (A lot of the DA arcs for instance)

So, bonus stuff for Squids?

I was on a run where our DPS was not great on Rom so I went back and dragged him down to the fight. It got us over that hump. So, once in who knows how many, he proved useful? -
Is this the right forum for MIDs issues?

And just to point out, there is a section of the forum for Mids. (I forget if you just join, or what) -
How many times did you run through the wedding event?
lemming replied to Apogee's topic in General Discussion
Looks like I have 38 characters that got Officiate and while I do have the Pet on some, I know a few that did more than five runs each, so I'd say around 200 times. -

Yea, I think the compression could be further done to basically make everything available right at the start. Looking at the SCORE code, feasible, but it would probably more of a problem to make a different mode, than just having it universal. (I can read code, but I'm not spending a lot of time on it) So back to "Is this a good idea?" There's a lot of reasons not to spend the effort on this, and really just a couple for it. I get the impression that the devs do some stuff just to see if it can be done and some things are tests. (Blarf being a prototype of the Lab Minotaur for instance)

Less of a shuffle than a compression. Similar to not having to wait until level 14 for travel powers.
