  1. No real help with your goal, but my Meteor is six slotted with Force Feedback for max KB. (well, not quite max, but > 45 mag with empowerment station help...)
  2. I enjoy playing Brutes even with their ATO being crap, but it would be nice to have it mean something.
  3. I could have typed that verbatim... Two of my champs chars got this treatment across servers though in both cases, scrapper/stalker variations.
  4. Just checked my numbers, I'm down to 93 50s. Just got my last alt up to 50 last week, but still working on the build. Slowly whittling away, I think my new method is that two alts get recycled when I make a new character. I think the goal is to have 75 chars now. Decent range of types. Oh, and for the heck of it: First number is how many unique combos, and second is minimum number of types if you want to have at least one with every power set, so you could just have 193 characters if you don't repeat a power set. (Not counting epics, etc...)
  5. I'd say they cared and had reasons not to allow transfers, which may or may not be explained in the instructions from there. Other than noting that was the plan, I didn't really pay too much attention having only a couple chars there. (Now, you can say I didn't care much, but I'm just a player)
  6. Note, you can get the Ouro power by popping down to Recluses' Victory if no one is dropping an Ouro in atlas.
  7. Currently running a GeForce RTX 3060, 64GB ram, yada yada that I built late 2022. Before that, I had fallen back to running on a 2012 laptop with 8GB ram which was surprisingly working alright at low settings, but it was a pretty big improvement.
  8. Gardening Tools make very good improvised weapons that have often resulted in actual weapons. (Many pole arms, etc...) Heck, we could have a whole powerset devoted to gardening.
  9. My Farmer, Influence for Nothin, with slightly different lyrics. Now look at them yo-yo's that's the way you do it You burn the mobs on the AE That ain't workin' that's the way you do it Influence for nothin' and chicks for free
  10. It's all that butter
  11. KB that would only affect dead characters would get rid of any strategy that people use with it. Though maybe if the KB->KD didn't work on those targets, might be cool. The Sudden Acceleration adding KB until reducing it, I think the intent was that the math does: Increase KB until stuff goes flying past any KB resist, but if KD is flagged, reduce to just knockdown. That way if the power would normally do 5 points of KB, the increase is 2x, so 10 points. Target has 6 KB protection, so without the enhancements, no effect, but now there's 4 points of KB. However, with the KD, the 4 points then gets dropped to KD. I do think a lot of the geometry issues have been worked on here and there, but there's a great number of them.
  12. You can pick up recovery serum which is +100% for 4 min. Empowerment Buff: Increase Recovery of 17%, 90 min each time Survival Amplifier which included +20% Recovery From level 1-19, via DFB you can pickup Hydra Chemical Recovery Enhancer +15% From levels 15-30, DiB you can pickup Shivan Exposure Recovery Enhancer +9% Load up more with Performance Shifters? Dual slots of Unbreakable Guard? Early levels, I do tend to put more End Reduction on various powers until the set bonuses take care of it all.
  13. Zone events that are not on any sort of timer are Nemesis, RIkti, and Zombie invasions. Those are setoff by Nemesis by finishing the last mission from SSA Pandora's Box Rikti by finishing the Lady Grey TF Zombies by finishing Katie Hannon TF Some GMs can be triggered. Depending on which server you are on, there are channels for setting up TFs, trials, etc...
  14. I was talking about the claim there was a Knockdown buff. (At least that seems to be what is being misinterpreted. To your point (which I'm guessing), the KB protection is 10 points, so yea, protected against Knockdown. (Heck, I mentioned that early on as one I tended to use before Posi)
  15. There is Increased Knockback and Knockback Protection. Knockdown is not an option. Both of you misread something.
  16. I have been noticing that the day jobs seem to take a couple beats before being awarded and I think one of my chars had this happen. I was logging them in, but wanted to zip off somewhere and later on looked at their dayjob timer noting it was where it had been before being logged off there. (spreadsheet notes)
  17. Eh, yes, common salvage is damn cheap, but you still have to have it. I suppose running by fort trident or the crucible so you could have an open auction house while buffing up would be the thing. Looking at the buffs, most are pretty benign at +5% resistance, but no defense buffs. +25' stealth; I'd have to check if it stacks with normal stealth and/or Celerity. (Probably Celerity) Not a huge deal IMO since it's handy, but if you have stealth on, leading hostages, etc... meaning you'd have to delete the power Increase Attack Speed, +20% recharge This one probably should be adjusted. Either less buff, or higher salvage cost. Knockback Protection, +10 On the fence here, but should probably be dropped down a bit Increase Recovery Handy. It's a better buff than a lot of the set bonuses. I probably wouldn't go for orange salvage to increase costs since that's a much higher number. Uncommon is still pretty cheap, but there we actually saw the price spike recently. If players were aware, you'd probably see more salvage being sold on the AH.
  18. Seems like odd advice. It has zero effect on other team members and if you have debt, it will be cleared fairly quickly. Though if you are under level 10, you can't have debt.
  19. Start having them just move around so you'll have to chase them down.
  20. I think my frustration is while trying to move something, I wind up causing the floor to change height, either dropping to the lowest, or causing a big block to pop up. Maybe something that allows you to turn off room geometry changes could be toggled? It would allow item placement, but lock the room dimensions?
  21. There is no direct way of getting a retail character back. However, if you still have your costume files, many of those can be loaded. (AE files are possible too) Sometimes there are tweaks needed, but feasible. On HC, you can build out a character much easier than it ever was on live. Still takes a bit of investment of time, but while I had maybe three characters that were fairly IO'd out on live. You're not going to have the same character here anyway due to some of the power changes. You can always go to the beta server and do a bit of experimentation to see before then playing thru them on the main servers.
  22. Which START vendor are you checking on? I'm not in the game currently so can't check for sure. There are a couple differences in accessibility, though should only be in relation to Ouro, TF, or AE status, and either all or nothing, iirc.
  23. Issue six wasn't too far into the game release, and it probably got obscured by ED being done on the same release. I do remember that it got dropped a significant amount since my fire blaster had less debt. 😄 I remember that character got all the debt badges first in our SG.
  24. It got tweaked in issue five where the penalty was reduced in missions and we didn't accumulate until level 10. Issue six, they reduced the debt cap from ten defeats to five defeats worth. (debt page disagrees and says this was five as well) Issue 11 the reduced the amount of debt by another 20% https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Debt
