  1. Got curious and it does exist with SCORE, but it is a very simple invasion compared to the others. Though looks like it should spawn in some locations instead of on players like the current ones do. Source/MapServer/src/script/ZoneEvents/ShadowShardInvasion.c // The Shadow Shard Invasion will be the first shard event // it is pretty simple, and just tries to maintain a constant number of // rularuu invaders in each city zone. It maintains 4 vines in the // city, and 100 invaders that have spawned out of vines. //Portal spawns every 5 minutes (changed from 10) //Still only 4 Portals //1 group spawns every 30 seconds (changed from 1 minutes) //Max. 100 entities
  2. That I do not know. And if triggered by an end of TF, it would be only in one zone. In any case, probably would need to be reworked a bit anyway if it exists at all.
  3. I still want an "I don't want to go past level X" option
  4. Other than Server Disconnect, they are already available all the time. Nemesis happens everytime someone finishes a the Hegenburger (sp) arc. Rikti happens at the end of a Lady Grey Zombie at the end of Katie & Tarkikos (sp) And that is fine with me. It would be cool if we could trigger a Rularoo invasion, maybe the finale of Who Will Die?
  5. Well, I pick Double Loud because it's twice as loud, but the same sound. The one with the submarine ping cuts thru background the best, but I couldn't stand the sound of it.
  6. This is exactly why I have Double Loud Glowie from CoH Modder installed. I'd have to wear headphones otherwise.
  7. Did you check to see if Consumed by Fire & Hidden Hostility still had them? I bought and slotted an enhancement before one of the crashes, and because of the time lost, I didn't when i logged back in. However, I had the influence back as well.
  8. This is correct. You just have to be wearing a costume when the Mission completes (ie, when the Abom is defeated)
  9. That got changed in a recent patch. They don't get removed now. (Issue 28, page 2)
  10. I go in them often enough and I think the only time we've had someone insisting on PvP was in RV while we were going for AVs. And it's been years and that was on Excel I think?
  11. There are some badge titles that are not available for non-praetorians and visa versa, but they are the same badges. (I think it might just be the level 10,20,30,40,50 badges?) On the costumes, some models aren't easily separated from the mob design. (Hawaiian shirts are one, I suspect the TV head is another) Praetoria isn't really a post-apocalyptic landscape when you start there. I mean elements, but I'm not sure if they mesh with your idea. As pointed out, the Lost are not part of that either. Have you played thru Praetoria storyline? Some of your thoughts would lend themselves to growing up in First Ward, though a background with that, then coming to Paragon during the refugee push might work? Nothing quite fits. Of course, there's a bunch of worlds more suitable via Portal Corp's explorations.
  12. I suspect the unstability isn't anything to do with the server itself, it just happens to have been hit the last couple times. I do have quite a few characters elsewhere when stuff like this happens, though of course my current projects were on Victory & Everlasting the other night. Once OVH figures out what is going on, stability should go back to the normal events.
  13. As presented, sure. We have several instances in the game where an NPC gives up. It would be for the player, and they could have a popup that is just the options listed. Opposing player wouldn't even need to be prompted since it would just be a defeat from their end. Similar to how (Castillo ports out in Market Crash, etc...) I'd suggest two other options: Ok, you win (port to hosp or base) Do a dramatic death (options such as ghoul spawm, regular ragdoll, others?)
  14. Ok, just confirmed that the Gladiator costume is suffiecent for having a Whispered Rumor tip drop and I also tested my character that has a Snowbeast Holo costumer, and they had the tip drop for them as well.
  15. A lot of people seem to enjoy it and while I'm taking part in some of it, it's just to grab the prismatic on chars who are new this year, and filling in badges for a few others. Then it's easy to ignore. (I have a separate tab for zone events)
  16. That's why my default targetting macro is keyed to surgeons, though that would get thrown off by a player with surgeon in the name
  17. Probably not. iirc, hologram costumes have worked as well and since gladiator costume is a form of them. What I haven't checked is if the various holograms work for dropping the Whispered Rumor tip.
  18. Yes, but you can get credit for them. Swapping as long as you're doing the Praetorian arcs will work, and of course once you leave Praetoria. So only applicable for full time Praetorians past level 20 where you'd be stuck at a full bar, but no badge.
  19. having to sprint up the ramp to catch your train builds those muscles. Personaly, I like how hanging out in Vaults, you pickup some Tear Gas. Shouldn't you get a toaster?
  20. If you joined an incarnate arc (Belladonna, Number 6, DA), those will drop Astrals to pre-50 chars.
  21. It does, There's an instance number after the Zone name. Also, if you type /whereami that also gives the zone number
  22. For Praetorians, you can get Commuter (Null sends you to one of the Atlas'), Pilot (Heli in Echo), Tailor (Echo), and Shopkeeper (Winter Village) via Pocket D and Echo Plaza.
  23. This is more anecdotal: I think after awhile players don't make as many new characters and they'll often outfit them with stuff from older characters, though I do know a bunch that don't do this. During Halloween, a lot of characters do get generated, and some of them will get outfitted. I think there's a fair number of chars being PL'd up to 25 just for the Prismatics, though a mix of people taking advantage of the PL to see if they want to continue playing that. So there might be an uptick in demand.
  24. I'd be fine with tips working in several of the co-op zones. Heck, KW drops a tip for starting an arc there. Another alternative would be to have tips opened anywhere, but send you to a "proper" zone. Since most tips go to the zone you are in, it would probably be a random zone (or level appropriate). This of course is only viable if the engine allows this sort of use.
