  1. Correct forum, wrong thread. Completely different subject from the original post There are a couple threads about names already that would be better suited. Limiting numbers of characters, probably best as a new thread.
  2. Yes. One of my characters had similar. I had some items stored that I had pulled last night that appeared back in the AH. I also lost a few bids and some items I was selling. Overall, I think I broke even, maybe.
  3. Yep. And if you're a Praetorian, you can't even dismiss the ones you can't go to. (I forget which particular ones since it's been some time)
  4. Ganymede and Scratch after you turn in their Lockbox/Cauldron missions give you a mission to see what DJ wants. DJ then gives you a spiel about delivering Valentines. I haven't seen what happens when you say you don't want to do that.
  5. The WL spawns at a package location. I don't know if it has to be a location with an active present or not, but I suspect it does not matter since in my runs I found WL way off the path of where I was opening presents in Imperial. There may be a timer preventing a respawn, but I did notice that the WL doesn't despawn since I've left them alone for days.
  6. DJ Zero recruits you at the end of the Ganymede/Scratch missions. Either one.
  7. Probably annoying to implement at least for the account check. That being said, since we're not limited to one account, people could just have a account grinding to do this. And we already have a way to buy the recipes via reward merits. On converters, I'd love to see a "Just change it to what I want" cost. Cost being what it would be in converters expect 50% of the time. (Maybe 75%) So for a simple conversion in set where you want the 2nd bit and you have the 1rst out of six. For a 48.8% threshold, it would be 9 converters. 12 converters is the 59% I think people would want to just spend the converters to avoid the click click click nature. More complicated math when switching sets of course, but just an extra step or two.
  8. There have been a couple fixes posted on the Beta. Might be worth checking there to see if the ones you're looking at have been sealed. I know they haven't done anything with the Pocket D ones since it's harmless and people like to visit Manny.
  9. I've only shown it to people I was in discord with, but if you want to mess with someone. Port to doors. It won't trigger the ambush. (Three squares from the door is the trigger) In city hall, port past the open arch and you won't trigger the cut scene. Your dupes aren't there then, but the CoT are. Not that any of this helps complete the task... Though I suppose debuffs setup where the dupes appear may help
  10. Hmm. Don't think I have ever seen her there. Marchand & The Deputy Assistant of Information can be found there. I've played thru all the various arcs in Praetoria and never talked with Duncan there. Usually just out in the Nova courtyard. And the one Nightward mission where you "beat" her up.
  11. Make sure you set an assetpath in settings for launch
  12. We see Ms Liberty in pocket D for stuff. Duncan I don't recall at any point. Only other thing I could think of is a AE mission?
  13. I'd have to go check some numbers, but iirc, lower difficulty tends to lower changes of drops, but not certain. Other than less xp per defeat, but a faster defeat per target, not sure on the rest. One reason I don't tend to run at lower difficulty is that any knockdown power is more likely to do more knockback.
  14. If you dismiss him, next time you zone into PI, you will randomly get a detective, so after a few tries, you should get Lord. HC made this functional a few pages ago.
  15. There are quite a few badges like that. Of course, for those that play full time Praetorians, they're even more out of luck.
  16. Oh, it's bought from the p2w (or merit vendor), but it's not doing anything currently on the beta server. (Or wasn't yesterday) Odd. Just bought it again from the merit vendor in Talos and it works on one char. And just logged in a different char that I know it wasn't working on, and now it does. So, nevermind. Either I was doing something, or it got fixed. I normally just use it to get mission TP up.
  17. You take things too literally. Glancing at the descriptions, they can be interpreted whichever way you want. The game may want to put you into neat little boxes, but you don't have to limit your own thoughts. And even there, the game doesn't limit you that much. I see the origin bits as something a character checks off at the registrar. A demon who isn't bound, but wants to conceal their origin. "Yea, I'm an alien. Put me down as Natural." But that's just me, you do what you want.
  18. Reminds me, I noticed the QA burnout function isn't working, but haven't looked into the why
  19. I found that occasionally looking at my log file will turn up some syntax errors in my popmenus wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Games/Homecoming/bin/win64/launcher.exe > ~/down/hclaunch.log 2> ~/down/hclaunch.err Then stuff will show up in the log ERRORLOG FILEERROR: texts/English/menus/MyStuff.mnu File: texts/English/menus/MyStuff.mnu Parser: unrecognized token LockedOption in texts/English/menus/MyStuff.mnu, line 216 Sorry ATC, you just happened to miss one curly bracket...
  20. Robots are easy. They're just a form of golem. (As one example) Nothing says mercs can't be summoned entities. Demons can be cloned beasties summoned from a lab.
  21. I seem to be in the "if I need to buy it, I can" camp though I'm more likely to just craft what I need still.
  22. True, but he was not the only one. [70.7 4.7 -911.4]
  23. I forget the exact makeup, but we went in with a bunch of defenders, controllers, and corruptors. It's was brutal. I think we finally got thru it because we had a controller with confuse that went in and got them to beat themselves up.
  24. Your naming idea has merit, it's unfortunate that the way to do it would require a lot of work in how the various DB servers talk to each other. You can find a bunch of topics about this all over the forums. On the helping out bit, you may want to apply to be a game master. There's always call for people who can help out that way.
