  1. Id been told stone and psi were strong during a discord conversation. Maybe it was purely for pylon tests? Im only 23 levels into my psi/fire brute... Maybe I should switch to warmace/fire? Ive heard so much about it lately.
  2. What is it that makes earth so special on AVs? but not on EBs, bosses and Lts? I would think if you can kill an AV you can kill anything... If its just the pet... I thought singularity was its match.
  3. I was so torn between grav/storm and earth/storm. I choose grav cause I really like singularity. Your post makes me sad : ). Now I wish Id taken earth.
  4. That wasnt pvp lol it was pure douchebaggery (no offense intended). That was lets do a loot run. Then bam portal leads to a shit storm and end of character forever. Heartbreaking to die that way. Coh had its fair share of tool bags but you lost nothing. Imho now is best time to try out pvp content cause so few pvpers left. If you are really that concerned, excel has had literally 1 person in sirens or bloody when i went after shivans or hot spots. Can you guess who the player was?
  5. So based on my earlier build post. I can offer a bit of support/good debuff, a bit of damage, and very hard to kill. I dont want to vary to much from that (because i have alot of expensive io's invested). Any suggestions/minor tweaks. Maybe a more damage focused? I mean i have a fire fire blaster so i kinda think the damage will feel meh. I have an mm so the pet build felt meh. Thats how i ended up here. Jack of all trades master of none seems a crabs role.
  6. We shall see if your theory is true because thats been my tactic to sucker a bunch of newbs into pvp zones then BAM six slotted brawl to dominance (screen shots and forum smack to follow). Wait sorry i didnt mean to type my evil plans outloud. Foiled again. Seriously though with all the talk of doing same content over and over, boredom, power leveling. Id really like to get some zone exploration going. My favorite experiences were in pvp zones wether it was pve, pvp or a mix (huge groups hero and vill players fighting over hot spots).
  7. Now there are two of us. Doubled the pvp zone pvers numbers in less than 24 hours. We might get a full team by this weekend!!!! Im also a big fan of warburg kronos hunting. Im pretty sure i took my main brute droid rage from near 1-50 in pvp zones.
  8. So thats a hard yes? I guess its literally just me but i find fighting alongside vill or hero mobs in sirens hot spots fun. Huuuge mobs lots of bosses. Pvp zones are the best street sweeping in game. Especially now that actual zone pvp is dead. Ymmv im on excel. When I want to pvp i switch to indom. So promise its not some reverse psychology trap.
  9. Exactly. Now if you would all please start hanging out in bloody bay, sirens, warburg and rv with me please. Cause i seem to be the only one there. Fyi there is actually fun content and very few pvpers outside of indom.
  10. No pets, damage is meh and no kd in my build and it only dies when i dip into a second large daiquiri. Seriously considering taking provoke and reworking as a "tank".
  11. Back on live id regularly street sweep in pvp zones (especially sirens with huge hot zone mobs and rv cause of the free op pet. Turrets are very good xp). At one time i think pvp zones had a bit higher xp for missions and pve mobs. There is also a spot in st marts a small "island" with freaks and wailers. Huge mobs. Id circle that on brutes as a test of build. My ss/elec destroyed it. And exp was strong.
  12. Is there a limit on how many powers I can use the kb to kd IO. I mean can i slot em in 6-10 different powers?
  13. Darkir has helped me with a number of builds. And despite my drunken master/leroy jenkins playstyle they hold up in game.

  15. I dont understand how yall are having survival problems. I have a bit better defense (not much, 52% ranged). Smaller resistances (not 60% across the board). I think I died twice during TF runs. That said I pushed heavy on recharge and HPs, serum is perma. So hps are often capped when it stacks on iteself. So well over 2000, and capped like 2500. Even when defense fails, still got 45% to 70% resists and lots of HPs. This one is petless, but I think I have a similar pet build. Its got room to improve as well. I took SJ and SS. Was obsessed at the time with getting to missions ASAP for timed TFs. If you can drop SJ and or SS to fit your playstyle you have an extra power.   16. Ill vote for this to. This might be one of those rare occasions when you'd have a clear majority wanting something.
  17. So Im not a storm expert and dont want to tell anyone else how they should play (fun fact 100% of those posting love the same game as you, surely that is a starting point for civil discourse). I much prefer KD to KB. And while KB to KD works for alot of powers, there are a rare few like the aforementioned hurricane that will still repel. Itd be nice to have an option for repel powers. Or stacked repel/KBs. Im thinking specifically of say grav/storm and singularity/hurricane. I know its been brought up in this thread already, but I would vote to keep it part of the discussion. Im not asking you to stop loving MONSTER KBs or the devs take the BIG AIR option out the game. Having this as some type of global or maybe incarnate would allow you to change up on the fly. Customize to your team or foes as you so choose. And allow me to tinker with my toon the way I want.

  20. I really need help with a cheap build for this. No purples and all but the cheapest uniques (like LOTGs, health and stamina uniques might be all I can splurge on). very few if any set mules so I can learn the powers a bit while i figure out how i want to play it. Have very little experience with the sets and no money to burn. Id really like to use psi mastery for indom will, mind over body, psi tornado (fits storms powersets and theme) and maybe even world of confusion? .
  21. I had no idea VEATS had an inherent. And I mained a veat crab on homecomming return. That might say something. Swift and hurdle are far outclassed. Swift doesnt give much return on investment in slotting/the initial boost seems low. And hurdle is guilty of the same and has no jump increase. A little boost here would hardly be game breaking. Theres an overall cap on movement speeds anyways who cares how you get close to it.
  22. I found changing dark servent to summon on me. example powexec_location me Tar Patch summons tar patch on me and i dont have two clicks per summon. I do it for summons to, powexec_location me Banished Pantheon Radial Superior Ally I like your suggestion but barring that, making summoning easier is best solution.
  23. Rumor has it Grav/Psi is a strong PvP combo for zone and arena 8v8. Just remember hearing it on discord and decided one day id try it.
  24. I was thinking more like Taunt has massive duration increase. and maybe a recharge increase. But I agree it needs some love.
