Saw it. Decent Keaton Batman movie! Two Ezra Millers in one film is three Ezra Millers too many! The multiverse gags. Okay. One got a BIG smile outta me. They actually did it. Giant spider and all. They resurrected one of the most shameful distortions of dead Jon Peters Superman canon.

Keaton is what's going to get me in the door. Period. A "new" Keaton-Batman flick. It's the only thing that's going to save this movie. All the other stuff is totally "I could leave it."

My DP/FF Sentinel turned out to be eminently soloable at higher difficulty and essentially a ranged Tank.

I don't find Discord particularly conducive to support. And I say this as a Discord server admin. Channels simply...aren't. Live chat just plain SUCKS because you have to go dig back through backlog. Private chats are BETTER. But with live chat, there's an (unrealistic) expectation of fast response time. I find that forums work better at decoupling that expectation. Threads that you follow are just immediately available to you the moment a reply goes up. And PMs work just as well. And it requires no third piece of software to access. All you need is an Internet connection and a browser. Possibly I'm biased. I'm a Great Old One from the ancient USENET wars. I'm more or less used to decent-to-good forum software. And I'm not a huge fan of Discord as anything other than a gutter-tier live chat and streaming tool. The free version meets my "Oh good enough!" requirements. But outside of high-res streaming, the paid "Rent to Pwn" option holds NOTHING I care about. And as I said, "Good Enough" for the free streaming means I have no real incentive to trade up.

Honestly, trying to out-Tank a Tank while out-Scrappering a Scrapper at the same time is to misunderstand how the AT operates. Essentially you can hit 90-95% of the Armor results of a Tank while seeing ABOUT-ish 90-95% of the damage of a Scrapper. The "special sauce" is how you are able to ride the spurting edge of absolute damage while not dying. It's the one thing the game can NEVER account for. The PLAYER (not the toon).

Here's a fairly "brute force" setup. I make no warranties that this will be a truly PLAYABLE setup. Just, mathematically, it's fairly close to "good as it gets" if you basic premise is a WORKABLE high-Resist Scrapper It may not be "totally maxed" But it gets you truly respectable numbers in regular play with a pair of crashless "God Mode" powers to kick you into OMGWTFBBQ! territory. Just remember that Scrappers don't have the HP or higher Resist limits of Tanks, so there are constraints on top-end performance.

This'll likely get me a metric butt-ton of hate. It is what it is. It's not that I'm not sympathetic. There was just a limits to what was possible at the time. I found out in early 2013. Initial offerings were in no way ready for public consumption. It took a lot of time, effort and yes MONEY to finally arrive at a functional setup. And those 6 years provided: A better class of hardware A better class of virtualization Better command, control and understanding of the code base. An actual understanding with NCSoft that provided a way forward that wouldn't get us shut down the second a stray hair appeared in someone's bum. Having to do it "secret squirrel" artificially limited our pool of player candidates.

Just an FYI, there are times that a sufficiently beefy DPS Blaster will literaly TEAR aggro off of even tanks. Not OFTEN. But on occasion. Had this happen with a couple of experienced tanks on a Tank, Blaster, Tank team when I was, strangely, rocking a Blaster. I kept getting a huge chunk of the aggro turning around and whaling on me. At first, I thought I wasn't giving the tanks enough time to aggro grab, and thus was drawing the alpha strike. So I'd sit back for a moment, let them go in and engage, then let loose. Yet again, "MACROSS MISSILE MASSACRE!" *OOH! NUMMY FLOOR!* None of us could figure out what was going on. And if I had to sit there and wait for half the spawn to die, there was no point in playing...

I'll tell you, I'm just pissed they finally repaired the "mugging" animation duo. As the mugger gradually migrated to the point where the blows he was landing were crotch-shotting the dude on the ground. TOTALLY funny (so long as you're NOT the one getting whacked in the snarlies).
