    Rad/MA help?

    On Rad, which is primarily a Resist set with ZERO DDR? My advice would be beef up your Resists. If you wind up with a lot of Defense on top of that? Great! Just remember that big debuffs make that go away FAST. So it's great for Tanking Alpha strikes. But just treat it like ablative armor. It gets worn away eventually. High Regen and Recovery make Rad a nice ride too.

  5. The job of a Tank is not hitting people in the face. Or standing there LETTING OTHERS hit THEM in the face. A Tank is, primarily a combat controller. And it does this through its Taunt/aggro generation mechanisms. Not that a Tank CAN'T photo-bomb a villain's "Bust You In The Chops-cam". Not that a Tank CAN'T put a massive hurtin' on their enemies. Not that a Tank can't solo 90% of the content in the game. But that's all GRAVY. You get that as a BONUS for accomplishing your primary mission. And @PyroNugget If you want bigger caps, USE BIGGER CAPS!

  7. Tried the uninstall and reinstall. TOTALLY broke the Updater. I now just get an error message. Tried the zip stuff too. Had to manually set the zip file to be able to execute, because the unzipped folder won't run Mids otherwise. And update is still throwing JIT errors.
  8. Wish I could get it up to .10. But the updater apparently doesn't work for me. No clue why. And trying to query on Discord and I get this: I'm grateful to the Mids crew. And I can see from your setup that it is, indeed, working. I don't know why the hell it's so damn obstinate in my case. Stuff like this makes me want to scream.

  10. Elec/Elec works well on a Tank. Lots of experience here. For Brute, Claws/Elec is just a buzzsaw.
  11. I tend to the school of "When in doubt, TANK IT OUT!" So I have a high preponderance of Fighting pool on most of my characters.

  13. A little Defense doesn't hurt. Look at it as an ablative armor. Sure, Debuff will eventually eliminate it. But until it's gone, it's a chance to completely AVOID damage. Rather than just reducing it. So, if it takes a minute to go *Poof*, that's still a minute where you're not taking damage.

  22. I'm going to argue that this is broken. The efficacy of Fire's entire set has been a long known quantity. The KB->KD was still implemented knowing this.
  23. There are lots of controller sets with all sorts of different debuffs in their power sets. A ToHit debuff is kinda nice when running solo.
