Yeah. My main precept is "When in doubt, TANK IT OUT!". I've tanked the craziest things. On ATs where people are like "Uh. What're you doing?" I tend to like durability over maximal damage output. This makes my kill speed slower. But I can usually survive that. Or I can at least fight to an eternal stand still (alone). So I rely on my teammates to bring the damage output.

I left South Korea in '93, right after the new year. Christmas Eve, a bunch of friends and I had to go pull a drunk buddy out of a bar off-post. Dude had been living six months on a diet of ramen and alcohol. He was drunk, angry and stupid. We told him the Korean cops had been called and that if he stayed, he'd be drunk-tanked and then taken back to his unit the next day. If he was lucky. He was too drunk to care. So off came our belts and he got carried most of the way back to post, hog-tied. Unfortunately, we ran across a couple of Marine E-6es. Typical odd couple. Short guy, and a mutant giant. They asked us to untie him and just give them a chance to talk him down. Outranked, we simply sayd "Okay!" It lasted all of about 5 minutes before the big guy moved his buddy out of the way and proceeded to rip the guy a new latrine filler (not the term I used, but I kinda have to be careful in what I say here). He got the guy's unit info and was going to be calling in the morning. We then re-trussed him, dragged him back to his barracks, tossed him into his bunk, then figured all the belts for a loss. As I was gone less than a week later, I don't know what happened to the guy. But I doubt it was good.

Yeah. The military is notoriously...LAX about sourcing their water. Not a ding on you. But you'd think that if the brass was going to pay $400 for a hammer, they could afford to spend a little bit more on sourcing safer water. Hell, look at the Camp Lejeune debacle.

I always LOVED the dumbasses who drank themselves silly, then reported to sick call on Monday. We generally had a great remedy for that. 2 large bore (16G) infusion needles (painful as hell, especially when someone's that dried out and their veins have contracted). Confine them to a bed (lulls them into a false sense of safety). Run saline in until their bladder was screaming "40 DAYS! 40 NIGHTS!" through a sound system big enough to impress Manowar. And basically held them until they nearly pissed themselves. Then pass them two of those 800mg Ibuprofen horse pills the Army was so fond of passing out like candy and send them on their way. Brutal as hell way to do it. And some of my patients would have gladly murdered me. But it got them ship-shape in a minimum amount of time.

If you're using RDP, you are essentially screen-scraping. So all the load is still on the host machine. So long as the host machine works okay, it should be fine. I cannot comment on what the performance is going to be like though. And you may need to fiddle resolution on the home machine. Because the higher the resolution, the more data you're pushing through your network connection (latency issues).

Too much of a Good Thing. While you'd think a solid Fire^ setup would be immensely one-note (and subject to enemies aimed right for such builds, it isn't. Or at least not BADLY. Conversely, you have so many options on how to go, and never enough slots. This can lead to build paralysis and the need make tradeoffs you may not feel totally comfortable with. Congrats! You're a min-maxer! 😁

Tried opening this locally. And yeah, something's badly, badly borked in that build URL. Mids opens. But the power lists are truncated and the actual power "bars" fail to even appear.

Honestly, use image hosting sites, or pay for a basic web hosting service for yourself. Web disk space costs. Yeah. There's multiple phenomena that people lump in as "lag". Latency, frametime (the time that passes between the generation of each frame), jitter (fluctuations in signal or display image), etc. And latency happens almost everywhere. Gets introduced on the graphics side. Gets introduced on the controller side. Gets introduced on the communications/network side. Gets introduced in memory and storage media.
