  1. I STILL GOT IT!!! The fact that they're just 2 ends of the same build? GRAVY! So, 99% of the time, you're simply a world-beating badass. And, for that 1% of the time they toss two-or-more worlds at you? You press a couple buttons and BOOM! Your badassery knows no bounds! It should make you tough enough to survive the initial couple minutes of a fight. So when it drops, enough enemies should be beaten down enough that "Normal" mega-badass mode should carry you through. And if you're getting team buffs? MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  2. And yes, I KNOW this isn't a "cheap" solution. I've seen WAY too many people try the "cheap" solution and get themselves burned. BADLY. Suddenly that data they "didn't really need" is irreplaceable. And do you know how much hard drive recovery costs?
  3. You could PROBABLY get away with a it. But for data durability I don't recommend it. You're looking at a hard drive enclosure stuck on your router. It's generally bad engineering-wise. As you really have no way to MANAGE the setup. And you're always a single drive away from data loss. If you're looking to get something you can manage and use with a backup solution (network drives get EXPENSIVE to back up FAST), look at an actual NAS device. https://www.amazon.com/Synology-bay-DiskStation-DS218-Diskless/dp/B077PJX8TH Of you want to save a couple bucks, get the Play version, which isn't as upgradeable. https://www.amazon.com/Synology-Disk-Station-DS218play-Diskless/dp/B076G1G2ZT/ While the person who's experienced both "I've got my data backed up" and "What's in the box? WHAT'S IN THE BOX!!!", I shy away from 2 disk setups. It's still doable. Synology has a technology called Synology Hybrid RAID. Helps keep you from losing data and makes your setup expandable at a later date. Just by trading up drives. This makes the function similar to the old Drobos. Also, as I said, the cost and hassle of dealing with mapping network drives (most backup solutions charge you for CLOUD STORAGE, rather than just backup). With the Synology setup, you can actually mount your drive setup as a local drive through iSCSI. Meaning it appears like a local drive to the OS. So, for an online backup like Backblaze (can't recommend it enough), it simply backs it up like it's another drive in your system. So with SHR, you can start with a single drive, expand it to two later, and as I said, upgrade it down the road. And the management interface is web based and fairly straightforward.
  4. Oh yes, and the build. Might have some tiny differences, as I screenshot the stats, then closed Mids and had to rebuild it.
  5. Mo-Minimum. Mo-JACKED Psi hole? WHAT Psi hole?
  6. Hit the beta server and try one of my "Mo Durable" builds.
  7. Aroo?
  8. Okay, I've been able to encapsulate my main problem with this episode. When someone tries to equate the anger of watching your father murder your mother, and the severe physical trauma of being blown up, lasered, beaten, shot, stabbed, having your mind invaded on multiple instances, etc... With an obnoxious co-worker or being cat-called. And confusing low-level constant stress with massive, INFLICTED psychological wounds.
  9. When you do compare the regen totals, make sure you're taking into account the differences in HP.
  10. Some ideas Same build as I PM'ed you.
  11. Defense, Resist, Recovery, Regen, End Consumption, and Recharge (both global and per-power). If you can pull that outta Mids, you have roughly 99% of what you need to know. Note: Sorry if you dislike the Export-Short-form. I find that most questions about what's what can be solved simply by opening the build in Mids. So why shovel umpty-jillion extra characters in? Also, exporting full long-form causes the HC forums to freak out, unable to post.
  12. Here's an incomplete rebuild on Energy Aura. Basically the Resists are a bit more evenly distributed. And the Defense is higher. But underneath, the HP is lower. So you don't regen as hard, and higher damage attacks that can bypass your Defense will wreck you harder.
  13. Invuln will generally result in a slightly tougher overall setup.
  14. Some ideas.
  15. And double Gang War is always a hoot.
  16. Essentially every incoming attack type has both positional (Melee, Ranged, AoE) *AND* Typed (S/L/E/N/F/C/T/Psi). When determining if an attack hits, you use the HIGHEST available value you have. If you're 40% S/L and 45% AoE, and an S/L-AoE attack comes in, your Defense is factored at 45%. If your Ranged/Psi Defense is 10%/25%, and a Ranged/Psi attack, or an AoE/Psi attack comes in, (and your AoE is lower than 25%, you use your Psi Defense value.

  18. Liked it. Had a BIT of the problem with the rather violent Hulk jealousy. But hell, they're two indestructible titans. I'm, at last check, QUITE destructible (oh God, old self had NO EFFING CLUE!). Oh yes. OW! And a lot of the "problems" are things that are problems when moving an entirely visual media like comic books to the screen. And some of it is the ham-handed "social messaging". You can tell that it included a lot more pig meat at one point. But it's been consciously scaled back. I rate the first ep an mid-range A (not plus, not minus). Willing to allot it some more episodes to view.
  19. No problem. I've missed that kinda stuff so much, it's one of those "niggling little details" that always pokes at me now.
  20. It's post-power-pick. EVERYTHING is on. Turn off SuperSpeed, Burnout, and turn off the proc in Kick. Also, make sure to get your Accolades. You can turn off Tough if you really need it. Also consider that I haven't set a Destiny power. Ageless anyone? It's tight. But that's why you have PETS. You just sail all the additional attacks in when the opportunity (Hey! I've got FREE ENDURANCE just sitting here taking up space on my blue bar!) presents itself.
  21. For gits and shiggles...
  22. For gits and shiggles
  23. Invincible? No. The Boys? S3 just came out. And apparently S4 is in the offing.
  24. Yeah. I'm shocked it was allowed. And I'm proud as hell that they just WENT FOR IT.
  25. Well. They get wet, and then cold. It brings down the body temp...uhhhh...I DUNNO WHAT YOU MEAN!
