When you can essentially fight (not necessarily BEAT) an enemy indefinitely. Because REAL Tanks have no problem taking 3 WEEKS to sand off an opponent's hit points. And flat out "can't kill one another" scenarios can be seen as a "moral victory" for the Tanker. 🤣😂 🤣😂 🤣😂

There's nothing wrong with doing +0. Not everyone is equipped for high level slog. Not everyone wants to. And yes, a portion of the player base do it for "mercenary" reasons (XP, Merits, etc). Don't like that? Simply run your own TFs. Afraid of a level bug? Pimpin' ain't easy!

Still believe that total damage avoidance through overwhelming Defense is preferable to Resist-based protection. As for Mez protection, oh no! I'm mezzed! But my defense is still Incarnate soft-capped! Yes, they're not PRODUCTIVE in that situation. But...

AMD's Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics can be perfectly playable. Again, recommend an SSD and 16GB RAM. And there are some eminently affordable options. And with the Radeon graphics, it's not an RTX 3090 beater. But it'll result in playable framerates in the 50's and 60's in most games. Though if you want to nearly double the price, you can get a discrete GPU.

As an MSR leader of long years, the most useful toon is a */Forcefield/* toon of any AT. You can anchor the raid and protect it. You can do damage, buff, debuff, heal, whatever. As for "best toon" for a ship raid? As always, the answer is, invariably, what's FUN for you? I'd rather have 20 people who're having FUN at the raid than 48 people who are miserable or just going through the motions.

Basically it'd be more productive to simply build a new set. Because reworking an extant set to proliferate it AND rebalance is a thankless task. Even if you do it RIGHT.

Kinda the same reason why Regen isn't propagated to Tanks. Due to AT mods, they either have to create an inferior copy of the original power set, or they're stuck dealing with a confluence of things resulting in a badly, brokenly over-powered combination.

The problem is that they'd have to completely rework Regen because at the current values, with Tanker HP, it'd be completely broken. And, when you go to do a balanced pass on Regen, what are you going to come up with? WILLPOWER.

Okay, if you did a total uninstall, file and registry scrub and a fresh install of Mids didn't fix it, you have something ELSE going on with your system. Are you getting error messages? If so, paste them up here.

When in doubt, and repairs don't seem to work: Make sure you have a backup of your builds folder. Uninstalling shouldn't blow it out, but I'm a paranoid sort. Download Revo Uninstaller Portable. Start up the version (x86 or x64) suitable for your Windows install. Uninstall Mids. After the uninstall, set the Scan preferences to Advanced. Select all registry entries and hit DELETE (not NEXT) NOW hit NEXT Select all left-over files and hit DELETE (again not NEXT) Download Mids Reborn FRESH from their website. Reinstall Mids. Unless you have a VERY VERY messed up Windows install, the program should be working again.
