  1. Had my main rig barf its BIOS back right before the new year. RMA'ed the board. Got it back last week. Put it all back together. Would power on. Wouldn't boot. Now, had this been a year or two ago, I'd have stopped everything to troubleshoot it for a while. Unfortunately I no longer have the time for this. And while running my work rig on my laptop MOSTLY works, it's driving me nuts. So I schedule the local Micro Center to take a look at it. $40 and I'll at least figure out what's wrong. So I bring it in, and I have the techs staring at it in horror... 😁 So the tech opens it up. After 20 minutes. The verdict. BENT PIN... Originally, the chip cost me $800... Well, it cost me $1000 because the only way I could get it was in a bundle with a monitor I didn't need. Tech comes back. The 5950X is now $550 plus 80 in labor. We have them in stock. *SIGH* Okay, do it. I need the machine back. So he says "gimme 20 minutes". I go and window shop. Inspect the latrines (damn egg salad sandwich for dinner). Come back and the tech asks me "Can I convince you to buy a $130 warranty? We'll cover your computer for 2 years (and this is my self-built system). And you just pay any labor costs. Seeing as I somehow managed to *BLEEEEEEEP!* my CPU, I say "Sure. Why not!" So he goes to ring me up for $250. ... "Uh..." "We're going to cover your CPU under warranty." Cue me needing to re-inspect the latrines...(damn shock). On top of that, the original batches of Zen3 were...a bit squirrelly. The more recent vintages are a lot more stable. Because of this tech, (name and location remain unsaid because I want to make sure this doesn't get him in trouble), I'm going to be spending more money at Micro Center!
  2. And here's a semi-finalized version. Only the Alpha is taken. No other Incarnate.
  3. Both of you with saturated Invince?
  4. Dumb question. Is this with zero'ed out Invince:? Or saturated?
  5. For your perusal. Mid's DPS calculator says optimal attack chain. Blinding Feint --> Sweeping Strike --> Ablating Strike --> Vengeful Slice 297 DPS 1.67 EPS
  6. Here's an alternate, somewhat more exempable build (IMNSHO)
  7. Now if you want SPEEDY... This build can hard-cap it's own Recharge.
  8. Not perma, but a Tank build.
  9. With Hyper, I originally played him into his late teens...TOTALLY SANS-ENHANCEMENT... Couldn't understand why it was getting so hard... What? Nobody PAYS ATTENTION in the tutorials! I was there to kick ass and chew bubblegum! And there's no gum in the game... Then there's the time I slotted the Kismet unique IN PERSONAL FORCEFIELD. Okay, so give myself an ToHit boost...ONLY when I'm "affect only self".... I swear (every damn day!), I was dropped on my head (extensively) as a child...
  10. Release Version: 3.2.17 Latest File Version: 3.2.17.72 Latest Database Version: 2022.2.22 Was building a Fire/Axe tank. Suddenly noticed the Resist numbers were bizarre (massive negative). NEVER MIND ON THIS PART! Some dumbass *COUGH* had REST turned on. As for the ACTUAL oddity.// Also, after saving out and closing, Mid's basically *BLEEP!* the bed. It wouldn't start back up again. Rebooting didn't fix it. Repair didn't fix it. Uninstall/Reinstall didn't fix it. Had to get a third party uninstaller (Revo) to strip out the registry data and nuked the entire Mid's folder. After a clean reinstall it is working again.
  11. I'd have posted the build, but Mids decided to flip the *BLEEP!* out on me and won't restart clean. Cannot reboot at the moment so here's the build file. 90% S/L/F/C 82% E/N (Build isn't complete) Don't remember was Tox/Psi is. Note: Mid's is fixed. Looked at this again. Note that this build has REST turned on. So Resist numbers are going to look insane. Just turn Rest off and it's golden. Chop Cook - Fire-Axe Tank.mxd
  12. Fairest of the elves? Someone want to remind him of Glorfindel? Or maybe Luthien?
  13. Daddy! Daddy! I'm kicking too much butt!
  14. On the flip side, take a look at my Invulnerability Framework. It may not always produce the BEST builds. But you can generally start out with something that can take a beating and keep on YEETing. And here's a little something to get your creative juices firing.
  15. A little something for your perusal.
  16. Here's a little something-something for consideration...
  17. Spider-Meme...Spider-Meme...
  18. Middle Earth was a fantastical representation for England. This is commonly accepted Tolkien scholarship.
  19. Probably about as faithful as it could be without being killed off as a series.
  20. LOTR, all the races addressed, save the Haradrim, were depicted in an fantasy environment meant to be a standin for mythic England. And simple skin color alone isn't the primary gripe. It's the swarm and sum total of changes that are off-putting.
  21. Primarily because that isn't how Tolkien wrote the series. Plain and simple. If you don't like that people dislike this, please don't attack them.
  22. Sorry if I'm uncomfortable with someone hijacking walking around in the skinsuit of a property for their own ideological messaging.
  23. Now I can't TOTALLY ding Amazon. They've done some VERY good stuff. But this iteration of Tolkien's work feels like:
  24. Bots/FF. Takes a lot of time to clear. But TANKY!!!
