Don't forget., if you're running Tough, if you've got your +Resist to S/L boosted well beyond 90%, you can simply turn Tough off and leave it off. Saving yourself a decent chunk of End consumption.

Do people have something against raids?
-
The answer is "depends". For my money. Agility in Alpha Ion Core for Judgement. Largest AoE attack in the game. (enemies HATE that kinda action) Diamagnetic to floor ToHit chances If soloing, Rebirth Radial for the increased Regen or Ageless for the +Rech. If teaming, Barrier Radial, overcomes Defense debuffs and can Rez allies. Longbow Lore for Debuffage If you're just going for *WHAM!* "That tickled" levels of toughness, Melee Core. If you're looking for more damage, Assault. I'm honestly not sure which'd be a better option. Core or Radial. Haven't done the math of +Dmg vs Doublehit.
-
It's something to put in there. It's beneficial if it goes off. And the proc isn't terribly expensive. 96.25% global recharge. 26.25% from set bonuses 70% from Hasten. Make sure you have Kick unchecked. Hasten recharges in 145 seconds. You're probably seeing an interface anomaly. Flip everything off. Then back on.

How do I post a mids build to the forums?
Hyperstrike replied to Echo Night's topic in General Discussion
Awesome! Happy New Year! -
As the current license holder of BattleTech, I'm QUITE familiar with it.. Even now, it still affecting our art policies.
-
Not to mention the Harmony Gold lawsuit that dragged on for DECADES and was only finally put to bed a few years ago.
-
Hey, say what you will about Jack, actually DELIVERING on a project deserves kudos. Sure, it's not what you may want, or what you want NOW. But back in the day... Please, understand, that from a game balance perspective, you REALLY aren't supposed to be able to burn your way through to max level and hit all the content in a day. Also, changes since then have made the need to rest FAR less important. And your idea of "fun" and his are different. And MY idea of fun probably differs from yours as well. CoH had a roaring population for several years before many of the changes you're talking about. And yes, some of the changes weren't popular. But they gave rise to several of the systems we now take for granted. With the Invention system being first and foremost. That's entirely uncalled for. I've actually met the guy. I've also met people who've worked with him. And you're presenting a VERY warped view of him and his actions. And if Jack is so terrible at it, why are people STILL playing both his superhero properties? CO is, essentially, STILL the same exact game it was 12 years ago. I VASTLY prefer CoH to CO. But that's primarily because I was introduced to CO first. And it's "my" game. Doesn't mean I don't still hold a lifetime sub for CO and still visit it every now and again. And crapping all over the guy who delivered them is just childish.

As some have said, Sentinels lack the soft control to ACTUALLY Tank. Now, can they be built durable enough to ACTUALLY survive in a Tankish manner? OH MY YES! My DP/Inv Sentinel is a beast!

Spider Man No Way Home official teaser
Hyperstrike replied to ZacKing's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Arguably both the best Spider-Man film *AND* the best MARVEL film. It runs PHENOMENALLY tight race with Avengers: Endgame. The first third or so drags a bit. But the second you drop into Act II, it's off to the races. Get ready for waterworks between Acts II and III. Act III is where largest amount of the awesomesauce has been dribbled. -
Welcome back. Okay, as a blaster, your HP limits will generally hurt. But you're bringing decent BOOM. And, built well (especially once you hit Incarnates), you can be pretty Tanky on your own. Also, teaming takes some of the aggro pressure off you. Since your secondary is somewhat of a "soft control" set, you shouldn't be doing so much damage you're ripping aggro off dedicated aggro controllers (Tanks, Brutes, etc). And enemies deciding to shoot the obnoxious Tank instead of YOU is armor. Of a sort... As others have said here, play what you like, and what seems interesting to you. You can make just about ANY combo in the game work for you. ESPECIALLY when teaming. And, no. You cannot alter your primary/secondary. If you wish to play a different mix of powers, you have to reroll. Either a delete and recreate with the same name, or a "just roll another character".

I need the COH/V's community opinion please...

How many performance shifters are too many?
Hyperstrike replied to subbacultchas's topic in Scrapper
One thing to remember about PerfShifter's proc. Unlike +Recovery, which can still be FLOORED, Perf shifter delivers a flat amount of +End back to your blue bar. So even if someone manages to murdalize your Recovery, you can still manufacture End. Not a LOT, but...well...beggars and choosers. I find that having at least one is ALWAYS worthwhile. More than one? Iffy. -
Again, if you want to do instanced, okay. When I do MSR, I LIKE it when all I have to do is get people to the center. Then just sit back and enjoy the banter while everyone breaks a foot off in a Rikti posterior or three hundred. That gets somewhat lost in iTrials and Hami raids.

With twinking? Sure. But, like I said, it CAN be done.
-
Logical consistency. Lowbies aren't going to have O-portal access at Level 9. Yes, it CAN be done. But, realistically, most heroes in that level range won't have it. So, when they have to transit across the city, they're gonna use the rail system.
-
Both would have to be extremely neutered compared to the Brute/Scrapper versions. Combined with Tanker HP stats and general higher levels of other mitigation, it could mean crossing the Immortality line on SOs.
-
If it's using DCUO as a base with Jack as the dev, I doubt it's something I want to play.
