I've had good results with those cheap to medium-quality all-metal risers/stands - they allow better airflow, don't vibrate as much, and inherently act as a large heat sink...

I have a water/bio sent at 50, and it is very powerful.

I wonder how hard and/or different it would be to implement something like a 1940s or 1970s Atlas Park, via Ouroboros or some other form of time travel...

Here's another thought - y'know how they added an option to change the range of local chat - what if group fly could be given a variable range option, with one being self-only. If they can't readily place Nulls all over the place, how about allowing those with group fly to simply shrink its range a bit?

Gotcha. Either way, I tried Edge, which has zero add-ons or extensions of any kind, and I get the issue...

TY for the response & update! I don't have any Homecoming-specific extensions in any of those browsers that I reported the issue with, and Edge is completely free of any extensions or add-ons at all. Any other suggestions, (otherwise I'll just stick to Firefox until things blow-over, as it were)...

Did some further testing - seems to be something with Brave, Chrome, and Edge, but Firefox works fine. Any ideas?

I should also add that I can both play the game itself and browse other sites without issue...

I've tried different browsers, cleared cookies & cache, disconnected then reconnected from wifi, rebooted, checked for updates, yet the issue persists.

I access the forums from various computers. Even with my AV temporarily disabled, I am now sometimes getting stuck at "Checking if the site connection is secure", which seems to be a preliminary check performed by Cloudflare. Any advice on how I can remedy this? Thanks!

I don't think you understand - the Wiki does not dictate what powers exist in the game, how they work, or where they originate from - the game and the dev team does that. While you, as a player, can come up with a story surrounding your particular character and how their powers work or came from, you are still constrained by the game engine and mechanics. Your character can claim that they are Statesman's mom and that she gave him his powers through a set of magical Underoos, but that would be a baseless claim within the greater scope of the game itself... and even if you created an entire wiki about it, it still wouldn't have any veracity...

That wasn't what I asked. Please address my questions to you. I don't care if the wiki copied the in-game text verbatim - it doesn't make it authoritative...

By what authority do you claim that this "Superpowers Wiki" either applies to or dictates how powers work or where they come from, with regard to the City of Heroes setting? AFAIK, CoH was based upon a Champions PnP game that some of the original devs played, then adapted when they decided not to license that IP, and THEY, (plus any later devs), are the ones that solely had that authority...

That would be interesting if there was a mixture of friendly, neutral, and enemy groups within the zone - imagine if it was co-op to boot, with villains possibly aggroing some enemies, and heroes still others. I'm kind of picturing the underground in Demolition Man, only with magic!

Or even just an option when starting the TF - "Auto exit mission upon completion" or somesuch...

I'm going to shill for one of my most favorite combos - savage melee/radiation armor - you are very durable, will practically never bottom-out your end, and even get a gap-closer as your melee T9...

Do you mean the recharge or the refill time on the bar, because you need at least 50% of your bar, IIRC, in order to actually use the power, even if it is recharged...

I'd love to see something like a a large interior zone - maybe the large tower in KW or a sprawling shopping mall.

I don't have the post or comment on-hand, but I vaguely recall there being developer resistance to proliferating Null to more areas...

1. Allow us to get Vanguard day job credit if we log out in one of the satellite offices in the various zones besides the Rikti War Zone. 2. Remove the +range feature from Sentinel Aim powers and instead attach it to the new vulnerability mechanic/power. 3. Add a minimal FX option, if not to all armor sets, at least to some of the most egregious ones, (rad armor stands out). 4. Add a visible holstered weapon option to beam rifle and allow it and AR to share weapon models. 5. Add any appropriate weapon model from dual blades as options for broadsword, war mace, or battle axe. 6. Add the various "Soul Noir" options to the dark blast powers for Necromancy. 7. This is going to sound weird, but add "bright" options to all dark blast powers, (yeah, I get it that they are "dark", but there are bright and dark options for most other sets). 8. Adjust it so if we choose the option to have the color choice carry over to all powers in a set, it carries over to other powers we select in said set later on, (mainly referring to power pools/PPPs/APPs, here). I think archery, sonic, corruptor/defender dark blast, and AR all have 3 cones...

Does SS buff jump height or speed? I didn't think it did... I don't think they were necessarily referencing the value of that stealth, but rather that it can accept stealth IOs.

So here's the issue - people will generally gravitate toward the path of least resistance, which yields the greatest reward for the least amount of effort put in. Just how much extra XP are you thinking your "legit" farm would provide to make up for the loss of all other resources? It seems to me that, unless you removed the AE and its associated farms, what you'd probably end up with is people using your suggestion to get to 50, then simply switch back to AE for post 50 drops and what-not...
