  1. Simple suggestion, here - Can we please get the "Soul Noir" and other dark blast options for Necromancy Masterminds? Bonus points if there can also be a similar option for the pet summons & upgrades, (but I'd be happy with just getting the alternate dark blast animations). Thanks for reading!

  3. When Obi-Wan scouts out the Lars homestead toward the end of Rebels, he sees a young Luke, so I don't see how it could be a decade after the Obi-Wan series.
  4. What do you mean by this? Shield defense seems the most fitting as a match for the single handed melee sets, and parry from broadsword complements it nicely. Tanks already get increased AoEs/cones, so I don't think they should also get more damage. I don't think a self heal or regen fits with shield defense, thematically. The increased defense does mean that you're less likely to be interrupted when using aid self - perhaps it could benefit from some alternate animations, like chugging a potion. Those belong to Peacebringers and Warshades, respectively. I wouldn't be against some sort of luminous blast set for blasters, defenders, corruptors, but Umbral is kind of a mix of dark blast and gravity powers, so I don't think that makes sense to port over, (and while I'm thinking about it, Luminous blast is basically energy blast anyway). Good question. I don't know. Lore should be relatively easy to implement - I'd love a Malta Operatives, PPD, or Sky Raiders one, for instance. An Earth Judgement would be cool. I don't know if it would make sense to also include a tech or firearm-related one, though. There are some blast sets that have more PBAoEs and shorter-range attacks than others, but I don't know if I'd want to just shove melee attacks into a support AT haphazardly. Do you have any idea of what sort of inherent or other survival tools you'd include, to make entering melee enticing for such an AT? I could see something like this working. Would you use the same tidal power mechanic? Kinetic melee is kind of "flowy" as well...
  5. If all you're going to do is throw it, then you could use something akin to the taser wires that trail behind that. If you wanted to swing it around, then that's another matter...

  7. I wonder if having it so when you target a phased entity, it produces a "Phased!" message, sort of like when your inspirations become full, would be sufficient...
  8. I would rather the actual attack projectile be kept ambiguous, with the actual weapon model only appearing in your character's hands as they go through the throwing animation. Having an attack that ricochets would be cool, though...
  9. I would love to see some sort of "thrown weapons" set. Keep it generic - perhaps only showing your character holding the implement, but have the actual animation be kind of a blur, so you can RP shuriken, knives, darts, etc. I could see this - maybe co-opt some of the kinetic melee animations since they're kind of "flowy". You could modify water burst, whirlpool, and geyser into appropriate secondary powers as well.
  10. TBH, I dabbled a bit at its launch, but I much preferred GW1, so abandoned it. I was trying to make a non-steampunk, more magical pistol user, but just couldn't get a look I liked, besides "this pistol has some glowie bits"...
  11. We already have some really nice rifle and pistol models, but for some concepts, something a bit more "ethereal" would be more fitting. To that end, I'd love to see some non-physical weapon models for AR, Beam Rifle, and Dual Pistols...

I mean, anyone call call themselves a "god", but if we're talking about a more classical definition, then, IMO, magic is the only origin that fits, I guess the biggest sticking point is if you are going to go with the "any sufficiently advanced" viewpoint on technology, then you could argue otherwise...

  14. I could be wrong, but I think part of it is having to "waste" a pool selection by picking one of the suggested powers. Personally, I think having to weigh such a decision is an important component of creating a character...

  20. I could see them doing a "hover-hand side hug" where you could try to position yourself to make it work. The carry one - just no.
  21. I'm remaining cautiously optimistic, hoping that this isn't turning into some "Inquisitor's redemption series, with special guest star Obi-wan"...
  22. I rather like regen on my sentinel, but on a scrapper, I'd rather go with radiation, bio, or willpower... Maybe if you also took fighting and with incarnates, I could see regen holding its own, though...
  23. It'd be cool if he could use the Nemesis Staff a a titan weapon...
  24. I don't know if the login or game server IPs are publicly known, but if they are, you could run a pingplotter to them to see if or where you're experiencing an issue, if it's outside of your specific location...
