  2. But without some sort of placate effect, casting it in the midst of a group of enemies would basically do nothing. If you had the placate effect go off upon initial casting of the power, or even have one pulse periodically, enemies who enter the AoE will break off contact from the player characters and ignore them. I suppose you could have the power provide such a strong perception debuff that enemies won't notice you at all, (similar to the old smoke grenade decimal point bug from around launch)...

  4. I mean, only levitate and telekinesis would really be ported to this new "Psychokinesis" set, which would leave room for the proposed "Enthrall" power + one other. Idea for Psychokinesis: 1. Anchored - single target immobilize, moderate DoT smashing damage, -fly. 2. Levitate (as the mind control power). 3. Constriction - moderate DoT smashing damage, hold. 4. Fling - attempts to lift a single foe and forcefully throw them at other enemies, (you'd target an enemy, then cast the power at a location, where it'd deal moderate smashing damage to the target and all enemies in an AoE, plus knocking down any enemies hit). 5. Flatten - forcibly knocks down enemies in a cone in front of you and attempts to immobilize them. 6. Telekinesis (again as per the mind control power). 7. Expulsion - PBAoE knockback dealing heavy smashing damage to all enemies affected. 8. Telekinetic Barrier - click power, temporarily grants a large amount of ranged defense and deals moderate DoT to any enemies with a small PBAoE of you. 9. Mass Lift - toggle, ranged AoE - lifts all enemies caught in the area of effect, (holds them), dealing moderate smashing DoT. End cost of the toggle increases over time.
  5. I also want to add that I think Mind Control should be broken into 2 sets; One focusing on Professor X style mental domination, and the other into one focused on telekinesis/psychokinesis, (or would that intrude too much on Gravity).
  6. Hmm... then what I'd do is restore the ability to enthrall LTs as well, but have the end cost slowly escalate over time...
  7. Even if it was just kept to minions or underlings, it'd still be very cool.
  8. It would be interesting if Mind Control could be given a power that basically turns an enemy into a permanent thrall under your control, (maybe keep it to LTs or below for balance).
  9. Dispersion bubble from /FF and Sonic Dispersion from /sonic *do* benefit you, (DEF and RES, respectively). That being said, give /elec a try; Farraday Cage, while immobile, does grant a decent amount of RES and status protection, and insulating circuit grants absorb, and can chain back to you, (as is the case with many of /elec's powers).
  10. You do get 3 builds to work with, (3rd unlocked at 50 or with Incarnates), so you could always do a leveling build, the "true" whips-only build, and a more team-centric one...

  12. There are several costume pieces that, IMO, would benefit from having alternate versions with fewer details made available. For instance, there's a set of spiked shoulder pads where the underlying armor plate has a sort of upturned point to it, (sorry not at game computer to attach a screenshot); A version without the spikes would be awesome! Similarly, the various post-apocalypse/resistance pieces without the dirt and grime would be a nice option...
  13. Sounds cool! If you have fun with a concept, you can make pretty much anything work. Besides the homages to the various bands' pets, what kind of look and origin are you going for? Is your character going to be a rock star or something? There's a rocket board that you can get from the P2W vendor that kind of looks like a hot rod surf board, which allows you to fly. Since /sonic doesn't have any heals, you may want to consider the medicine power pool to compensate, and I like taking the leadership pool on my MMs. Cheers!
  14. The entire behavior of the AH interface seems wonky. I'm not saying it's right that it is that way, but something is definitely "off" about the sorting. But, hey, sure! I'd love to see some consistency with how the interface is presented...

So I've been leveling up a Necro/Kin MM, but have a question about Soul Extraction; I created a bind that uses the 'releasepets' command, followed by "targetcustomnext defeated mypet" to kill then target one of my minions. Is there a way to *only* release a single pet instead? The 'dismiss' command doesn't leave a corpse. Could I use "targetcustomnext defeated lich" to only target the lich, even if I renamed it? Thank you for any help you can provide!

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the way things are presented in the trailer, but is the implication that she undergoes the procedure voluntarily, instead of the emergency blood transfusion from Banner in the comics? If so, then why the later comment of just wanting to be a normal random lawyer? She also seems to have a low opinion of superheroes, but is in the business of defending them? I hope we getting a better insight into things...

  21. Simple suggestion, here - Can we please get the "Soul Noir" and other dark blast options for Necromancy Masterminds? Bonus points if there can also be a similar option for the pet summons & upgrades, (but I'd be happy with just getting the alternate dark blast animations). Thanks for reading!

  23. When Obi-Wan scouts out the Lars homestead toward the end of Rebels, he sees a young Luke, so I don't see how it could be a decade after the Obi-Wan series.
  24. What do you mean by this? Shield defense seems the most fitting as a match for the single handed melee sets, and parry from broadsword complements it nicely. Tanks already get increased AoEs/cones, so I don't think they should also get more damage. I don't think a self heal or regen fits with shield defense, thematically. The increased defense does mean that you're less likely to be interrupted when using aid self - perhaps it could benefit from some alternate animations, like chugging a potion. Those belong to Peacebringers and Warshades, respectively. I wouldn't be against some sort of luminous blast set for blasters, defenders, corruptors, but Umbral is kind of a mix of dark blast and gravity powers, so I don't think that makes sense to port over, (and while I'm thinking about it, Luminous blast is basically energy blast anyway). Good question. I don't know. Lore should be relatively easy to implement - I'd love a Malta Operatives, PPD, or Sky Raiders one, for instance. An Earth Judgement would be cool. I don't know if it would make sense to also include a tech or firearm-related one, though. There are some blast sets that have more PBAoEs and shorter-range attacks than others, but I don't know if I'd want to just shove melee attacks into a support AT haphazardly. Do you have any idea of what sort of inherent or other survival tools you'd include, to make entering melee enticing for such an AT? I could see something like this working. Would you use the same tidal power mechanic? Kinetic melee is kind of "flowy" as well...
  25. If all you're going to do is throw it, then you could use something akin to the taser wires that trail behind that. If you wanted to swing it around, then that's another matter...
