Thanks! Here's my attempt, (I modified a costume I created recently, and rather liked how it turned out): conflagrationist 1.costume

I hate to be a PITA, but do those colors correspond to specific boxes on the in-game color palette, (or should we just use our best guess)?

If they can iron-out MM pet customization, then you basically solved the problem. It's a huge hurdle, but I think this would be the best approach...

Here's my attempt; I tried to keep a balance of high tech parts while not looking too robotic. I hope it's something you can work off of: hydro-ninja1.costume

Somewhat inspired by Episode's "Lady Death Alternate" costume, which can be found here, I present to you "The Warp Wraith": warp wraith 5.costume

I was playing around with some colors and patterns that I liked, and here's what I came up with - "Kinnie Nettic": kinnie nettic3.costume

Here's 'The Cactus Lass', a brilliant chemist and avid cosplayer, who isolated "the essence of cactus" and tested it on herself: cactus lass 2.costume

I finished watching both seasons of Terra Formars; It's a very gory series, and there's a lot of filler at times, but there are several characters that stand out as "tanky". The characters underwent an operation to give them aspects of different creatures, (mostly insects, but sometimes other creatures), and two stand out to me as being extra tanky: The first is a Russian commander who has aspects of a deep water crab, giving him a carapace that is so strong that he can shrug off powerful attacks like they weren't there. Another has characteristics of a pistol shrimp. In the case of the latter, though, it's more that the person was a championship boxer, who is resilient due to training and a strong will, rather than the creature they were spliced with. Another somewhat entertaining series is Killing Bites. It's a little heavy on the fan service, but it's pretty interesting. The main character was spliced with a ratel (honey badger) and is extremely resilient as a result. There's also a character crossed with a pangolin, who is extremely durable.

I know we can do this manually, but I think it'd be great if we could somehow set an "in combat" trigger for costume changes, kind of like how auras work. The way I envision this working is that you can set a costume change bind, using an argument like: /ccc [costume slot # here] The above "/ccc" would stand for "costume change-combat", and you'd revert to the previous costume you were in, before the ccc command triggered, once you left combat.... Thank you for reading!

I wonder how difficult it would be to offer alternate beam animations for fire blast. Fire breath could use a sweeping beam animation. Fireball and rain of fire might be a little awkward with this setup, but I think you could make them work...

Who would get the most use out of the complete Fighting pool?
biostem replied to jacehan's topic in General Discussion
There are some controller primaries that have great controls, but may be a little lacking in the damage department. If you can lock down or otherwise setup containment, and all you need is some damage, then fighting may be a good option. If you're using the new electrical manipulation, tough may stack nicely while you are in your Farraday cage. If you're playing a mastermind where you basically only take the 3 pets and 2 upgrades, but still want to mix it up, the fighting pool attacks may be attractive to you as well. -
So since I've been working from home the past few months, I've taken to watching a lot of upcycling/repurposing videos online. Thus, I give you "Upcycling Ulla": Upcycling Ulla.costume

Inspired by your character, I also created a new one. I present to you, "The Vextress": vextress3.costume

Really striking! How about stone melee (use the geode models) and radiation armor? Kind of seems appropriate... Cheers!

Well, for a while I was using the retro sci-fi top, (under the armored torso category), with the justice pants, (under the regular tight bottom category), as a sort of "flight suit", then layering other parts over them, to create various looks. I also like the look of the cybertech 1 top, (under tops with skin), combined with the talons skirt. There's also a metallic top/tank top that goes well with the metallic mini-skirt. Another approach I sometimes take it to pick something simple - like the regular tights top, using one of the basic stripe patterns, and just pick random colors until I get a combination that I find striking, then work from there. Another I've used a few times is the "Olympian Guard" option under tight tops & bottoms - it's a nice texture, and you can apply any of the regular tights patterns to it, which makes for an interesting bit of detail as the base layer for various costumes.

Here's one I put together recently. I wasn't quite sure where I wanted to go with her, other than "not high tech armor", lol! I quite like the color scheme, and I kind of get a "Phantom" vibe from the costume. Regardless, I present to you, "Gale Beyond the Pale": galebeyondthepale3.costume

Here's what I came up with. I went with a sort of piece-meal look. I hope you like it! miss-appropriate.costume

Here's one I created recently. I've been trying to move away from the rigid/metallic armor look a little - "Vanguard Vera":

You're probably better off just creating the costumes during the initial character creation, saving them, then loading them in at the tailor later...

Simply put, there are several head/face, shoulder, and even back options, that would better be described as neck or collar options. For instance, I frequently use the gunslinger face option, which adds a nice high collar piece. I'd love to be able to use this with some other pieces, like the carnival masks, but they occupy the same category. Similarly, there is a spiked collar piece and neck chain listed under 'shoulders', but how awesome would it be to have both a necklace and shoulder pads? Another option, which may be simpler to implement, would be to allow us to choose 2 sets of shoulder pads and an additional item in the face category. Sure, doing this may cause pieces to clip, but I think more options would be better. Thanks for reading!

Allow special characters to be used on naming
biostem replied to Darkneblade's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'd be happy if we could use an extra apostrophe or two, or maybe a few dashes or quotation marks.
