  1. The problem isn't a lack of ability to un-ignore people; It's the human failing of not remembering to manually un-ignore them, and that, IMO, is what this suggestion aims to rectify. People's attitudes can change frequently, and perhaps you just want to not hear someone right *now* but not permanently...
  2. So, I'd say /Ninjitsu is the most fun to play, (but you do have to be a bit reactive with the self heal or self +end power, making sure to use them as needed, since both can be made to be available pretty often). I paired /SR with dark blast for the additional -tohit as well as a way of getting some healing into the build w/o having to turn to aid self. It'd also go well with water blast, again for a bit of healing and utility. I have a 50 AR/Invuln sentinel who is tough as nails, but I feel like that combination tends to slog through some fights, so maybe pair it with a blast set that's more engaging for you. I have a 50 DP/Nin who is a delight to play, (think the shadow or some other film noir type of character). I also have a 50 Storm/Nin who kind of feels like a cross between one of the MK ninjas and Storm from the X-Men, but the nature of Storm Cell makes you need to employ a bit more planning as far as manipulating the battlefield. Cheers!
  3. It's like they digitized the puzzle box then used it while on the grid...
  4. I'd believe these were from a totally different game! CoH: Gothic
  5. When you want it back... eventually, and don't have a lot to spend, call upon "Kat Astro-Fee"!!!
  6. Yeah... it's one of those increasingly common situations where "less is more" still holds true - adding more detail and being able to actually see what's under the hood, takes away a lot of their mystery. That being said, even enemies that wowed you when you first encountered them, (I'm remembering the first time I saw 2 Malta Hercules merge into a Zeus), get a bit old after you've defeated dozens of them...
  7. I think this sums things up nicely. No need to delve into the why's or wherefore's regarding the popups or their deeper meanings; Give us an option to hide them going forward, and be done with it...
  8. Do we ever get a clear picture of what life is like outside of Paragon City or the Rogue Isles? Clearly the two are hotspots for superpowered individuals and organizations, but I have to imagine that there are still superheroes and villains all over the place...
  9. A lot of stuff regarding Paragon City doesn't make sense - I chalk it up to "Comic Book Logic (tm)", where bureaucrats are still more concerned with getting reelected or lining their own pockets, despite a recent alien invasion, multiple paramilitary groups operating openly within the city, and all the other villain groups operating with impunity on the city streets...
  10. It's frustrating, because no matter how well they build up that retro-futuristic 60s dimension, my inclination is, (as you pointed out), that since it's clearly "just" another part of the multiverse, will this setting even get the kind of attention and development that it deserves? IMO, the answer is no, and they'll rush to get them into the "proper" MCU...
  11. Just how many brains have you been poking around in? Should we worry?
  12. It's sort of a point of pride that you cherish a particular character enough to bother logging in and acquiring something for them, (even if all that's required is just the act of logging in)...
  13. 2/3 of which were sequels to prior successes, (Inside Out 2 & Moana 2), and the 3rd was essentially a love letter to the Fox X-Men films, and a big middle finger to Disney-Marvel. I don't know if I'd, at this point in time, put very much faith in Disney-Marvel to stick the landing, with regard to how they handle the Fantastic Four...
  14. It's not like your character suddenly becomes nonfunctional because you've exemplared below the point where you have access to those APP/PPP attacks; You can still have a core 3-or-so-power attack chain that you can rely upon in the lower levels, while still having those APP/PPP "heavy hitters" for higher level stuff. Just as focusing entirely on the higher levels can limit your build, so can focusing only on the lower ones...

  16. It's a matter of build philosophy and play style; I use the APPs/PPPs to add a bit of extra control or utility to my Sentinels; I'm not knocking a desire to build for performance, but for me, the 40+ game is a time to really flesh out and fine tune the "character" of the particular hero or villain you're playing; Maybe that eyebeam or sword attack really brings things together, or that PBAoE or chaining heal gives you a little more flexibility in a team environment...
  17. This is pretty much what I go with, for "standard slotting" as well; 2 Acc, 3 Dmg, 1 end redux, recharge, or possibly something else, as needed and depending upon what other power sets that character has or plans or utilizing...
  18. I love my Sentinels and have gotten several combinations into the Incarnate system. I've found that the sets that were more substantially changed for Sentinels perform the best, (/SR, /Nin, Invuln, Stone). That being said, play whatever sets bring you the most joy! I would say, since you are playing with fire armor, to be very aware of your strengths and weaknesses, and possibly try to squeeze in some defense into your build; Not only as mules for the LotG global recharge IOs, but also to layer your existing resist and heals! Cheers!
  19. I'd say ease them into things - If they are PC gamers already, then basic controls should be easy to pick up. It's the needs to tab-target and learn the power/enh/IO/Incarnate systems that may be a bit more demanding. If we're assuming that they've grasped the basics of moving their characters, selecting targets, and activating powers, then I'd suggest one of my favorite support combinations; An Earth Control/Pain Domination Controller; Tons of soft/hard control, healing, and some fun buffs!!!
  20. Ideally, that would be accomplished via alternate animations, a la the few we see the Praetorian Clockwork use, where various weapons pop out from their bodies to attack with...

  22. Love this design! Very striking, clean, and classic!
  23. OK, so I think the point of confusion is that you said "Defender Primary", which is buff/debuff/healing/support, but then "Control secondary", which I think some took as "Controller secondary", which would also be buff/debuff/healing/support, hence the misunderstanding. That being said, what sort of inherent would this proposed AT have, what kind of damage/HP/modifiers do you envision them as having, and what would set them apart from Controllers?
  24. It depends - what do you mean by a "static team"? Do you mean a Supergroup, or just a group of players that team up on a regular basis? I think the "General Discussion" should be ok, but if you plan on running this "static team" on a particular server, that subsection may be a better choice...
