Well, I could come up with an explanation for pretty much any AT or powerset, but I was more interested in what would fit in an in-universe sort of way - like maybe plant control or nature affinity as a way of creating the raw materials, or perhaps necromancy as a less tasteful way of "harvesting" materials... that sort of thing.

So one of the things I most enjoy about CoH is creating costumes. With that in mind, what kind of character would best embody that as their "profession"? I was thinking maybe something with illusion powers, but I'm open to any ideas. Thanks in advance!

TBH, I feel like the best solution would be to reverse-engineer whatever mechanic allows MM pets to be respawned when you zone, and allow MMs to forcibly "collapse" their minions onto themselves then redeploy them as they were, (with some timer/cooldown for balance purposes)...

With all the great work the HC Devs have put into adding costume pieces, (especially adding glowing options), I'm surprised the chest lens/crystal piece, as well as other such "chest jewel" pieces, haven't been given similar glowing options...

I've had a lot of fun playing my dual pistols/ninjitsu sentinel, and with their version of soul mastery, you get a nice assortment of attacks, debuffs, utility, and even a decent (albeit temporary) pet. -

I pretty much use small inspirations right away. Depending upon the character and my need for inf, I may hang onto medium or larger inspirations, to combine them into ones that sell for more on the AH or into ones that particular character needs...

I would argue that much of the "hatred" stems from necessary game mechanics - essentially, these "signature heroes", (and villains, for that matter), can't actually do anything - they stand around, give out quests/TFs, and sometimes make appearances in missions, but due to the multiplayer nature of CoH, can't have any meaningful impact on the rest of the game. If this were a single-player game, they could have more of an impact, as could each player's individual contributions. From a more general standpoint, it would be cool if, for instance, a player defeated one of them as a villain, switched sides, then encounters them again, and they acknowledge their prior defeat and/or other such accomplishments...
