  1. That's something we had to figure out through trial and error - keeping the Fog alive became more and more apparent each time it popped because then the league got sucked in to the Fog and mostly wiped. The pillars are helpful too because eventually there's just not any more room within the 'Anchored' radius of the Mythic Fog due to so many players and pets. Maybe I'm misremembering, but isn't everyone essentially speed phased in there anyways so they couldn't be pushed out of the bubble?
  2. We found success with 2-3 dedicated Tanks keeping mobs constantly pulled within range of the turtled league (around the Mythic Fog). One is off-Tank for any GM spawns and the other two can continue the taunts on Glads and those pesky Singularity pets that the Family Elite Boss summons. Do you have a dedicated incan player for Mythic Fog movements or do you shout in chat? I really appreciate the added graphical bubble around it, makes it way easier to see. I think I'll add screenshots next time and then put a table in my original post with any reported shard high scores (with screenshot or video evidence).
  3. Yeah we stayed the full hour in an attempt to break the 1,000 enemies defeated mark and didn't get it. I think with a bigger league and less wipes, we could break 1,200.
  4. Updated to reflect ongoing high scores per shard. If you participated in the raid on the Font of Malevolence in the new Labyrinth of the Fog zone and would like to post your shard's record, please @ me and provide a screenshot or video and I will update this chart. Labyrinth of the Fog - Font of Malevolence Shard High Score Torchbearer Not Reported Excelsior 1943 (verified) 12/18/24 (29 players) Everlasting Not Reported Indomitable 1831 (verified) 12/9/24 (20 players) Reunion 1228 (verified) 11/23/24 (30 players) Edit: For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, recent patch note below:
  5. That's a no for me for a number of reasons. Aesthetics shouldn't drive balance decisions. Animation times across all powers are static and can't be influenced based on other powers or effects in the game. It would change how the entire game works if one power could alter all other powers dramatically.
  6. You know, sometimes I just can't with this poster. They say they're leaving, they say other players are leaving, they say they know how to play every Archetype and they know how to do everything in game the right way (their way). And they won't even acknowledge other players could possibly want to do something else other what they want to do in game. The population is fine. It's healthy and resilient. I think enough players just don't want to team with @Diantane at this point. Edit: Screenshot about an hour after Diantane's rant.
  7. Right? What even is tertiary D-List? Is that like when a kid performs at their local school play? Critics making these movies sound like they're getting a forced lobotomy.
  8. No toxicity that I'm aware of. If it exists, I guess the ignore function is working and I don't notice it. In fact, ignore and blocking even here on the forums does wonders to remove any opportunities for toxicity to arise. Be excellent to each other!
  9. Yeah, I thought the same thing for Captain America: BNW. Felt like that was already a story line... Same - team up movies have a special place in my movie watching preferences.
  10. A couple of useful commands to add to any Giant Monster hunting custom window tabs are found in my guide if anyone is interested.
  11. Nothing. The game continues to operate regardless of any players own individual donations. The lights stay on. If you're looking to make an impact that benefits the community besides a monetary donation, you can also donate your time by volunteering as a GM, Developer, or by helping with testing new updates.
  12. Captain America: Brave New World The Thunderbolts* Thoughts?
  13. Every time I read articles like this I think of how Blockbuster turned down buying Netflix many years ago. Blockbuster missed out and closed down (bankruptcy?) while Netflix went on to become a big company. I see Marvel and D.C. getting billions of U.S. Dollars for the media franchise they built over the last twenty years and think how a superhero game with an established player base could have enjoyed continued relevance and financial success even off said coat-tails. That being said, I am much more satisfied with the experience Homecoming has created with this community and game than I was during the old subscription and microtransaction days. Edit: My favorite line of the article and one I can relate to and appreciate the most is when @Widower said: "It helped that, in spite of never having met before, everyone on the team got on very well together and also was very willing to obliterate their sleep schedules.” Based on my experience, the initial rush of support and passion for projects that a lot of people enjoy is abundant, but sustaining something like this for over five years and gaining legitimacy - that is incredible. Sometimes I find myself thinking about how much time has passed since I started playing on Homecoming. It feels like a big chunk of my life, already five years on. But I only play (and sometimes test!), I don't have to responsibilities like managing server infrastructure or donations or moderating the community. How folks can find the time to do all that and still have fun in this game is beyond my comprehension, but not beyond my appreciation and enduring thanks! Edit 2: High praise in another part of the article: "Lee cited the Homecoming team’s addition of asymmetrical costumes, a community ask the Paragon team had never been able to figure out how to deliver."
  14. The same meta that has existed since Issue 13. Whichever Archetype can output the most damage in the shortest amount of time. Everyone else contributes to making that output more efficient.
  15. Released: Jimmy Armstrong Track Star
  16. Here's the guide I wrote about defeating all the Giant Monsters that spawn in zones, with the exception of the holiday events Giant Monsters. Hope that helps you understand Giant Monster spawn mechanics.
  17. My Illusion Dominator was made specifically for a Yin TF the Theme Team ran a while back. I hadn't played it since, so it's been Level 28 for a while too.
  18. If anyone's seeing names in the Theme Team Global Channel that don't look familiar, that's my bad! I was trying to add someone but instead I invited my entire global friend list. What a silly button to have next to inviting someone. That being said, please feel free to remove anyone that isn't supposed to be a member and feel free to remove my permissions 😅
  19. Submit a support ticket and move on.
